I just love how simple and quick this bag is. Your instruction is absolutely the best. No added fluff, just precise to the point instructions that are very easy to follow. I am glad your quilt shop isn't nearby, I would be a permanent fixture 😊!! Keep these wonderful tutorials coming, PLEASE!
I bumped onto your channel and subscribed. You are such a great instructor. TFS.
LOVE the simple way you make the bottom gusset!! SOOOOOOO much easier than doing the measuring out a square and then sewing it flat…WHICH i don’t always get even on both sides.
Just found you! What a wonderful teacher you are, great instructions! Thank you. I’m off to the stash to select a yard of fabric. 😊
❤❤❤This method is awesome! Creative thinking.!
Hello fab gift bags and goodbye mountains of neglected yardage! I made one immediately after watching vid and am very proud of it. Would love to add a pocket to the next one. Thank you!!
I shortened the handles cause i dont throw groceries over my shoulder. I made it more grocery tote bag. And I used clips, didnt want pin holes in my material....thanks for video
Thank you so much for this simple bag tutorial ❤
OK. Been looking at grocery totes. Yours is, by far, the easiest and cheapest to make. Self lined....what? Don't need to measure...fantastic cuz I always mess that up! AND it has a boxed bottom! Can't wait to make one. Oh and it is BIG! BONUS UPON BONUS!
Hi Maile, great pattern for beginners. I have made 2 so far and need to make several for.
I’d love to see everyone’s bags! I’ve made a few but I thought if people are sharing then maybe I will too. I’m so curious what fabrics everyone used!
Very good directions. Thank you!
A year later I’ve got an easier ,faster design, love it ,Thank you so very much ,Christmas gifts and selling items….🤗
Just came across your channel. Fantastic tote bag instructions. 👏
Beautiful tutorial
Great video! I'm learning and the ease and size of it look perfect for me!
Wanted to point out homeboy walking through the background barefoot made me giggle a little
😄✌️💛
Excellent video.. just made one following your instructions and came out great. Loved the simplicity of making the gusset. Only thing I added to my bag is interface webbing for the outer layer to give my bag a little more rigidity. Thank you!
Love this❤❤❤
It's about a year since you have made this video. 😮 I've just seen it for the first time. 😊 I love the clear instructions, and this is a great lined shopping bag. I have a LARGE stash. I need to make a bunch of these for family members. Thanks for the video.
Thank-you for such detailed instructions ! Subscribing now! :)
I just made this and it turned out so cute I put a pocket on the front for my granddaughter
Oh it looks so easy!!! Will give this a try!
New subscriber! Thanks for the easy bag tutorial. Guess I’ll be making Halloween bags for the ones that didn’t get them last year.
This was great 👍🏼 thank you
i made it last night , it's been ages since i touched my sewing machine but it came out nice , not perfect because i got a stitch a bit crooked but very acceptable , i'll make more today to get it perfect
Clever!
Genius! Thankyou
Excellent idea thanks 😊
This is great!
Great vidio
Great idea~ ! Thank you.
The website is not working :( Love this. Thanks for sharing.
Please explain fot me. Do I cut my handles from the 36" side? But then I do not have a 36" square remaining, I have a piece that is approximately 40"x28". Or do I cut the handles from the 42" side? That seems to make more sense. Did I misunderstand the instructions on the video?
I appreciate your help.
Cut two handles 36" x 4 to 5 inches wide. Use the rest of the fabric, 45" x 28" to make the tube.
luv this but i would like the instructions please.

When and where could you put a pocket?
Let me take alook at that and see if I can figure it out!
Pockets could go in the center inside and/or outside, just before you place the handles in.
@@vickysfabrics6295Thank you for responding. I’ve been putting pockets in just before thehandles but wondering if there’s an easier way.
