Hi G-mann. Never too late to start enjoying two wheeled adventure sports. You did good buying a used Beemer. They're too expensive new and yours has a lot of critical upgrades that would have cost you dearly. I gave up on Facebook where I was following you and PointTV. Riding is a good way to get some exercise and fresh air. It can be quite a workout to ride in rough terrain. Love your stuff with the drone, too. You're lucky to have a good mate like Spook. Riding alone can be a bit of a worry and it's always better when you can share the experience with a good buddy. Cheers Rudi!

@Gerald Pauschmann Great idea. Let's hope this Covid nonsense passes soon. This lockdown stuff is getting beyond ridiculous.

As a fellow F650GS rider (800cc's of fun) I recommend you retrofit a CompuFire 55402 regulator to protect your generator (series, unload's when not required, as against full load/heat with the factory shunt type), and a decent vibration proof battery, factory Exide are problematic, I use an Odyssey PC535. If you of tarmac a lot changing the front sprocket for a 15 tooth and the rear for a 47 will make the bike much more manageable.

What a beautiful bike with a brilliant set up and a even better location G-Mann. The more I see of your amazing country the more jealous I get. Fantastic video again G-Mann/Spook. Until next time my friend. #cheersrudi

Go for it mate. I envy such things nowadays. We have so many restrictions In Scotland / UK it makes it very hard to do such things. I used to have bikes when i was a lad and loved it.

@Gerald Pauschmann, I grew up riding dirt bikes and racing motocross. If you can ride dirt, you can ride anywhere! Plus it doesn't hurt as bad going down in dirt or sand. Lol

Very nice bike, G-man! Good on you for learning to ride! Once you put your knees in the breeze, it gets in your blood and riding becomes a necessity. At least that's how it is for me! Thanks again for making these videos! It's awesome to see your beautiful country the way you guys show it and you're also showing that with all the bullshit going on in the world, there's still ways to escape it all and enjoy life. Lookin forward to the next adventure video!

@Gerald Pauschmann, that's awesome! Australia has always been a dream of mine to come visit, but even if I did, I wouldn't ever be able to see the things you guys are showing! It's incredible the things that are in our own backyards. Just gotta get out and go see it! You're doing it the right way too. On two wheels!

Ho are you, G-Mann? Good video, mate. May I ask how tall you are and what your thaughts are on the first gear of this bike? I‘ll be 50 yo this year and just started doing my license. Of course already looking for bikes and gear and the 650 twin seems to be a good champion of all sorts. Just heard that it’s tricky to go very slow like at the traffic lights with this bike, but that was only in one video, so I don’t know if that was only personal experience of that person or even of that particular bike. Liked and subscribed of course, have a good one!

It's true while original sprockets are 17/41. You can change them for example to the 16/42 and this make a big difference.

G-mann, all your powered farkles should be wired into a relayed power bus and NOT directly to the battery. Just like all the wall warts you have in your house to recharge or power your electronics, they use power, even with the device powered off. When was that Red Centre ride again?
