Do you notice the litter box at all being a hassle? I keep reading that pig urine is very strong and you have to clean the litter box every-time they go.
Haha yep Gerdie is a female. She definitely needs a lot of attention. The first year we committed A LOT of time to her , every single day, and with lots of training and practice she is way more well behaved and responsive. A pig is not a pet you can leave alone all day and all night by themselves. They crave affection and attention. The more of a consistent schedule you can give them, the better off they do. We probably go through 1 50lb bag of micro pig pellets every 2.5 months (about $40) and then she goes through a box of Cheerios/ week, 2 carrots/day, and a few other veggie scraps per day. So she really doesn’t cost very much to keep. She sleeps on her own in the living room. She would sleep in our bedroom if we let her though 😂
Kelly Charlton Jones this is not true I have 5 that live in my house and none of them and ever bit me and I have 2 who are 19 years old and I have the since they were 5 weeks I think I would know if they are going to bite or not
