The most white woman quote possible. Some animals are prey, some are predators. Everything will eventually be eaten by bacteria and returned to the earth. Both you and this guy would change your minds about the value of life if you were starving in the woods and had to kill to eat.

She definitely went to the right home. No such thing as micro pigs, just baby pigs. A lot of people would've gotten rid of what they thought was going to be a small pig that turns out that big.
I have a mini pig 2yrs old, small dog sized. there real but rare
Hi ~
Of course, ALL piglets (baby pigs) are SMALL. Different breeds have a range of adult weight.
The smallest breed of domestic Pig is the Juliana which will grow up to be at maximum 75 - 80 pounds.
Pot-bellied pigs weigh 70 - 150 pounds but can be as heavy as 200 pounds.
So, adult weight depends entirely on breed but no domestic breed of Pig could be called "micro" or "tea cup" based on adult weight.
🐖 🌺 🐷 🌺 🐖
I will add for anyone thinking of getting a pet Pig --- they need to be spayed / neutered at a young age because they become very AGGRESSIVE due to hormones driving them to reproduce.
I recently adopted a 2 year old Pig (Juliana breed - smallest pet Pig). After a month of being bitten & attacked when I have been nothing but kind to the Pig, I have 2 choices - get her spayed or euthanized (kill her).
Today, I am waiting for a call from my Vet. The concern is that at almost 3 years old, the Pig is too large to safely spay & anesthesia is an issue.
The breeder or the first owner of the Pig should have had her spayed at about 3 months old when it would have been much easier & less expensive.
Do Pigs make great pets? Yes, they do. I have a friend who has had Pigs for over 10 years. Pigs are WONDERFUL pets! But to be such a pet, they have to be "fixed" (spay / neuter) as soon as your Vet recommends.
Your Pig will Thank You! 🐷

I was shocked when I read that pigs actually grieve and are highly intelligent.. they recognize their family members and feel all the emotions.
yeah I was a bit disappointed he didn't talk about how smart she was, when they were still living in the appartment so she was like under a year old she would outsmart the dogs in playing with toys that give out treats and empty them in seconds. Pigs are incredibly smart and sensitive animals. (No shade to dogs, they're amazing in their own right, it's just to illustrate how nonsensical the way we treat pigs as lesser)
yup they are. I took care of one once. very smart
Not only that, but they prefer vegetation rather than the stereotype that theyll eat their own fecal matter. That's something that happens when they aren't fed properly and allowed to seek out what they really want
@@Ausf Treating pigs as food is the same as treating them as lesser beings than dogs.

I've always wanted a full-size pig as a pet. I taught my big dogs to wear sun glasses and they got some great looks whenever I drove my car with their heads sticking out of the windows. I'd love to do that with a pig. The key to getting the shades to stay in place on dogs is to have two shoe laces, one under their chin and the other behind their head. The shades fall off but remain hanging in place.

Had this happen to my family when i was 16. Someone had a "potbelly piglet" that needed a home. A year and a half later hes 180lbs. He was alot of fun. My poor brother would have his blankets stolen every night. That pig would get in his bed and take his covers while he was asleep. Super smart. Harrassed the dog. He would come up and bite you or the dog because he wanted to be chased. After he got that big we rehomed him to a pig farm. He became their daughters personal pet. He had his own pen and every morning when she would feed the others he went with her and tagged along all day. They fell in love with him instantly. He lived out his days on the farm as a pet.

its just how humanity as a whole society was raised to think. During simpler times, farm animals had certain things to offer, like dairy, manure for soil, meat etc. so they've just always been viewed as that.
