  • Bruce Morrow - Cousin Brucie’s FINAL SATELLITE SHOW - August 1 2020
It’s Legendary radio personality Bruce "Cousin Brucie" Morrow.
Cousin Brucie became synonymous with rock and roll during his 13 years at 77 WABC New York, in the 1960s and '70s.
He then moved on to WNBC for a few Years, got into radio ownership, and then spent 23 years at 101.1 WCBS-FM playing the oldies, before moving on gig at SiriusXM.
Morrow, has hosted oldies shows on the satellite-radio provider since 2005, most recently "Cruisin' with Cousin Brucie" on Wednesdays. and "Cousin Brucie's Saturday Rock and Roll Party" on Saturdays.
At 84 years old, Morrow indicated he was not retiring, and that he expected to be broadcasting again at some point, adding that he and his wife Jodie were taking a month off to relax.
Towards the end of his show, you can hear him get a bot emotional as he feels this era of his career coming to an end.
The big question everyone was asking in August 2020 is where is he going. My guess, weekends on WABC, because Bruce motions in this aircheck that his career is going full circle.
You can tell me where you think he’s going in the comments below.
Feel free to check out some of the many other videos on the Ellis B Feaster's Radio Channel! Established in 2008!
One of You Tube's oldest RADIO AIRCHECK MUSEUM with a NEW VIDEO posted daily at 3PM EST.
After over 40 years working on the radio, I have recorded lots of radio airchecks, and many from my friends as well.
You'll find audio of many radio personalities who have passed away. Lots radio recordings from the 1940s, through the 2010.
We also talk about radio broadcasting. If you happen to have classic airchecks, maybe even of yourself on the air, we'd love to share it here!
We also share videos about Travel & Cruising. I share tips on how I travel cheaply, so you can do it also! Find me on Facebook: / ellisairchecks

Thank you very much for this one. I’ve been a fan of Bruce Morrow (aka Cousin Brucie) forever. I listened to WCBS-FM where he did his show back in the 1990’s when he did his “Saturday Night Dance Party”, and “Cousin Brucie’s Yearbook” for so many years until 2005 when the station went away with an ill-fated “Jack” format where they played different genres of music which was a mess. He made other appearances from other stations including his brief cameo on WRNQ’s “Q92” during Joe Daily’s final morning show from Christmas Eve, 2019 that I still have.
His final minutes of his final Sirius/XM show was kinda sad that what WCBS-FM should’ve ended his final show back on June 1st, 2005 just two days before the station flipped to “Jack”.
The last song that he played was “Goodnite Sweetheart Goodnite” by the Spaniels which I still have it on a 78 since I played it both on my 1926 Victor VV 8-4 Orthophonic Victrola and my 1923 Camp-Fone by Health Builders portable wind-up phonograph to death and it still sounds good.

@@EllisFeaster having a Saturday night oldies show would be a great fit for WABC, given it's 50kw clear channel signal and the other talk/news programming, it's a great mix. Seems to work for 740 Zoomer Radio. Speaking of Zoomer, given that GenZ are being informally referred to as Zoomers, I have to wonder will Moses keep using the Zoomer moniker? Yeah, I think he will. :)
Despite what most people say about the future of AM, I still think AM has a bright future, well that is if you have a 50kw signal that can cover large areas of North America.
