Way back in 1963 I was 13 years old, a big Ronnettes fan I bought Be My Baby and Baby I Love You to this day I still get a great kick out of hearing those songs today. Ronnie still going in 2013 she sounds just wonderful, much love to her for those great records of my youth and to see her today is just great.
In the early sixties my dad used to take me to the local pool hall and I would have a burger and a coke while dad played pool..The pool hall had these high ceilings with these huge speakers and the acoustics were great..I can remember hearing "Be My Baby" blaring out of the speakers and thinking then how cool the sound was..
Besides Ronnie, I'm glad to see that Cousin Brucie was still around. He was an amazing dj on WABC, and I'd hear him on the radio when we would drive down to New York City to visit my grandparents! You don't hear DJs like that anymore. He was such a pleasure to listen to.
how rude and disrespectful. the fat guy with the blue shirt strolling around the stage and interrupting the show. nice to see her again, she sounds great. Loved her and the Ronnettes
I love the way she doesn't change the way the songs were originally done 👍. A lot of artists change the words or deviate dramatically from the original way the song was done to the point where one, or at least I, don't enjoy the song as much, imo.
I'm afraid the tone deaf ,disrespectful, rude and self absorbed guy in the blue shirt never learned any manners. That was the incomparable Ronnie Spector that he was treating so shabbily !!!!
Great show, just kind of disrepectful for Cousin Brucie and company to be conducting business on the same stage, its distracting and should have been done off the stage while she was singing.
They ARE off the stage. This video wasn't shot from the front of the stage - but from one side of the stage looking across to the other side, using a zoom lens (which compresses space. If you look carefully, you see they're standing next to the sound system and soundman. Do you think HE'S onstage where the audience can see him? Of course not. They're all probably a good 10-15 ft. from where Ronnie is singing.
I think that all of that stuff going on, on the stage was very distracting for her. She looked like she was having a hard time trying to concentrate with all of the distractions. That was the worst.

Like fine wine...she just keeps getting better! Her peak was about 20 years before my time, and I hope one day I'll get to see her perform live.

She showed so much class and grace that she did not walk off the stage after the guy keept arguing with the guy
Lady still loves the fans.

Ronnie I always loved your voice and moves. You are the best. Only thing those guys should have disappeared from the stage. Very distracting.
I'm in South Carolina and if it wasn't so far I'd come and knock those guys off myself!
Yes, they tried their best to ruin things.
If the effusive compare were genuine in his introduction he would have watched Ronnie sing.
Any clips of Lesley Gore from this event?
The one jerk that did NOT like this tube, never ever went to the Park

Should I ever go bald, please God - don't let me buy a dumb-ass toupee,
Ronnie I love you but you should have never sued George Harrison
Ronnie is good even though it's a two it show.
Cousin Brucie very disrespectful. I think he is a jerk!
2:14~ 胸に何か入れてるみたいですね、不自然なふくらみ。
The far bald guy talking to Brucie in the back is so annoying and distracting. Be a PRO.
