    I think CR7 going to another team, another league, whilst difficult for himself and his family, will only further his legacy as one of the greatest of all times. I really love Messi's playing style over Cr7's but if CR7 can win leagues in England, Spain and Italy, he will be seen as one of the true greatest of all times.

      What So by ur logic if messi went man city 2017 when his contract was expiring and won this league he would have been greater than he is now, that stupid argument if u join the best teams and change teams is a pussy act to join maybe everton inter roma and win THATS THE ONE WILL CEMENT YOUR CAREER not f***ing joining the best teams and most contonder teams in the world, and Btw juve was better than barca as team player by player in the last 2 years, if messi joins man city is p**y act bc it’s much easier to win with them than barca RIGHT NOW

      @what spot on. These guys are not European. They don't get that we have our own system to assess success. And winning Spain, England and Italy is the holy trinity. If he had time to add Germany, it would be epic. And of course, Ronaldo will play in teams that win regularly, why would he look for unsuccessful clubs? To prove what? That he needs a team..? That is already proven by Argentina. CR makes the bio that will crown him beyond doubts once messi is through. Playing always with the same club and the same league is a level below what CR is aiming at.

    You guys Still Beating The Man About his Age! For a 33 year old he’s better than majority of these young players! I’m sure he’s one of the most lethal goal scorer right now! So if Juventus buys Ronaldo for that kind of money and he drops 40-50+ goals for the season and give them trophies what’s y’all next excuse? The only thing is that he’s not young whereas he gonna run up and down the field ! He’s way pass that now, it’s goals that count remember that 💯

  • @VuCaoh
    @VuCaoh Před 6 lety +60

    I think this is a very good step for both Cristiano and Real Madrid CF. Cristiano has achieved more than enough in Real, it was about time for him to leave. He shall leave as a hero and I'm sure that wherever he goes, he shall embrace support of his fans.
    As for Real Madrid goes, the difficulties they are facing today, shall prove their worth as a team. It has never been a one man team, and Ronaldo's departure along with Zinedine Zidane may open the gates for new players as the new coach arrives. Times are changing, and with Ronaldo's absence, I can see arrivals of players, such as Eden Hazard, who can shine in the left wing. Real already has many talented forwards and I think it is about time to see Gareth climbing up the ladder and actually become the best player he can be. With the approaching end of 2017/18 season, I only see it as fitting to see Gareth becoming the main goal scorer.
    Despite all my thoughts and opinions, I still believe this is a heavy loss for Real Madrid. Departure of player with such magnificent talent, workrate and influence is still a heavy, heavy loss.

    These British pundits who have probably never watched a serie a game in their life are foolish to think Manchester United makes more sense for Ronaldo than Juventus. He is a world of an upgrade over Higuain, he would join a core that has been together for years, they are ready to win right now AND have been winning for years, and the slower style of play in Italy will see him be a top players for many many more years.

      theking ofinfinity Maybe if Ronaldo was still 26-31 years old deep in his prime. €100 million euros for a 33 year old forward and the opportunity for Real Madrid to clear space for Eden Hazard, Neymar, or whoever they want to bring in is a clear win for Real Madrid. At Ronaldo’s peak I would say he was worth between €300 and €500 million. At one point I thought he could be worth €1 billion making him absolutely untouchable, but of course thats my own opinion. But we got to face it, for an aging superstar in today’s market, that price is a steal for Real Madrid to rebuild a new core.

    • @jahswinonoh5351
      @jahswinonoh5351 Před 6 lety +4

      What do you mean in his prime? That is what separates Ronaldo and Messi from the rest cos they have been consistent through out their careers. They are both still in their prime, and Ronaldo's release clause was actually €1B not until 5 days ago where it was reported to have been decreased to €120M

    • @TheTony024
      @TheTony024 Před 6 lety +1

      Yeah agree Ronaldo is still in his prime but he's very similar to Lebron James. At some point these two athletes are going to slow down. At 33 for Ronaldo, his days are numbered in his prime. Even so, post prime I think he can still be a top player for what ever team he plays for. Bottom line, if Real is willing to sell, now is the time to get the best deal possible.

    Here’s the truth. Ronaldo’s agent, Jorge Mendes, is also Joao Cancelo’s agent. Cancelo a few days ago became juventino and in that occasion Mendes proposed Ronaldo to Juventus. The management at first responded that it was an impossible deal, but Mendes replied ‘what if it wasn’t so impossible? Would Juventus be interested in him?’ And at that point the answer was yes. Fact is, that was the only occasion that the two parties involved spoke in person.
    Ultimated Cancelo’s medic check up in Turin, Mendes flew away and it seems he only spoke to Juventus’ management once more but only on the phone.
    Juventus in the meanwhile is doing its homework to see if financially the deal would be possible, and in that case what it’ll cost the company not only from a monetary point of view, because Cristiano Ronaldo is a company on his own, like Lebron James for the basketball world. Furthermore, Juventus has always operated with an oculate financial policy reguardingits players, and this one deal would go against everything the company’s culture.
    Ultimately, Mendes could have easily boasted this news to Marca and to the Portuguese newspapers because of his influences at those editorial staffs.

      It's the contract duration that is the key issue in all these talks, not the wage itself. And you're right on Mendes. Yet this time I think they have chosen juventus and are not just using the name to kick off bids. Italy is the ideal finishing ground for CR.

    The move makes perfect sense for Ronaldo , he joins a team that wins the serie a comfortably most seasons and usually does well in the champions league . He will add to his trophy collection without being challenged in the league by other teams . He only wants more trophies so he can say he is the best ever and where better to be guaranteed titles than at Juve haha . Plus the Italian league suits his style of play much better than the prem because he has lost the vast majority of his pace and the defenders in the Serie A are far slower and usually much older than the the more athletic defenders in the prem and elsewhere . smart move for Ronaldo but he will never be the greatest even if he has more trophies than others .

    I think that Ronaldo should stay for atleast one more season and Madrid should sell benzema and bring in mbappe, if we buy Neymar we won't have a connection up front, but Ronaldo, Bale and Mbappe as a front 3 would be unstoppable in my opinion. If Mbappe was brought in he would have one of the best mentors in Ronaldo and give him 2 years and he will be mature enough too have a more controlling roll in Madrid, and then if Ronaldo stays in decent form we could sell him off for around 60-80 million which would allow us to bring in someone like Hazard and by that time Bale should be performing at very high level.
