- In this episode I cut out the rusty toe board and do a little sand blasting and rust prevention before welding in a patch. Moving right along.

Very nice video. Thank you for taking the time to make it.
Awesome video. Keep them coming. Nice repair.
Thanks a bunch!
My floor pan to firewall extension patch panels are suppose to be here by the end of the week - great to see it done before I do it. THANKS!!! I keep opening up mine more and more. LOL
Good work 👍.
I would have gone for that lip. From my experience there's rust between panels.
Came out nice.
Thanks Tom!
You def earned a beer (or two) on that job. Nicely done!
You are such a help.
May I ask the measurements for the console bracket holes to a tunnel wrinkle line. I’m adding a console to an old 4 speed car, changing to an overdrive.
I don't have that measurement. I plan on building a custom console.
Im glad you commented and I found you’re channel you’re one hell of a body guy. Looking forward to catching up on your channel. I feel so honored to get that shout out.
Nice work, and nice video quality. My car came with a Powerglide and I'm looking for a TH350. Have any plans for yours? I was also considering a TH200-4R as I heard they were a drop in PG replacement.
Hey DD, thanks! I've got a Super T-10 4 speed to replace the th350. I will probably sell the th350 when I'm done. It will probably need a rebuild.
I realize this is a couple years late but I don't get it? How is cutting the flange off easier than drilling a couple holes in on the outside of the rocker extension to plug weld the toe board to the rocker. Not to mention look a whole better? Am I missing something here?
Thanks for the comment, welcome to the party! I couldn't get the patch panel to slide down into place with the flange on there. It is sandwiched between the end of the rocker and the subframe mount.
Hey buddy. Where did you get the patch panels ? I’m from Alberta.
I ordered the toeboard and subframe mount panels from Classic Industries. I didn't like the cost of shipping, duties, and the dollar exchange. Everything else I got from Classic Performance here in Calgary. They've been awesome to get stuff from.
Thanks bud. I’m building a 68 also with mini tubs. I did the first fit of the new floors, two days ago. Since I have gone this far I might as well replace everything. 😩
Definitely earned yourself a beer with the patch panel work. What type of transmission are you going to use?
The car came with a th350, but I've got a Super T10 4-speed to go in it.
