What i see in Lovebites and Band-maid is that they try to implement lyrics,
which are uplifiting in a sense. Or just about lifes realities and how to overcome them.
Sad to hear about the scars on your soul. If you feel they are uplifiting, just bring them to your soul.

Btw, I found Lovebites by accident back in 2019, and this is the first MV/song that makes me fall in love with them.
Then I became The Wolfpack in 2020.

And I'm proud of them. I found 3 bands in Japan that I love. Lovebites, Nemophila and Destrose. Destrose has not been an active band since 2015. I only have one wish. Be strong, Kaitlyn! I am very happy you took my "Rising" suggestion and I also feel very stupid for not finding your great reaction earlier (now subscribed to prevent further stupidity). If you love Lovebites' lyrics you may want to check out "When destinies align". It is their anthem of perseverance and anyone who has ever struggled against mighty odds can relate to. The instrumentation is kick-ass as per usual with one of the best solo sections of all time. The have not written/recorded as bad song so far.

considering that vocalist asami has a background in ballet , plays piano and was mostly a backup r+b singer before this it astounds me what a great lyricist she is. she never sang metal and was relatively unfamiliar with the genre. now that's talent and her voice is perfect for the music that they play . you will love every song that you hear. another subscriber here to get you to 5k. the volume sounded perfect to me and sound quality is great too.
