This was only the first step into the rabbit hole of Lovebites. Their 60 something songs have no one that can be ignored. Just blind-take any of them and you will not regret. But check the upload date - all starting from December 2022 are from the new line-up with Fami on bass.

About their dresses. When Lovebites was touring Europe as the opening act for Dragonforce a French metal magazine interviewed Asami (singer) about that, Asami's response was, "we're girls, we don't want to dress like boys. Also, we are all small and the white and gold makes it easier to see us on stage." And they are small, they range from Haruna (drums) at 4' 9" (145cm) to the tallest, Miyako (dark haired guitarist) and Fami (new bassist) at 5' 2" (157cm).
Other great current Japanese female bands: Band-Maid, Nemophila, Gacharic Spin. Others female fronted include Saiseiga and Asterism.

I haven't gone through all the comments, so not sure if anyone already said this, but Miho was still in the band for this one. She's on the bass. Miho left about a year later, and she was replaced by Fami in 2022. Fami can be seen in the music videos for "Judgement Day" and "Stand and Deliver (Shoot 'em Down)" as well as any of the live videos from the Knockin' at Heaven's Gate DVD from 2023.

You just found the most talented metal band to come along in decades. In their first five years of existence, they put themselves on par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. They recently went on a year-and-a half hiatus while they waited out the pandemic and searched for a new bassist. They announced the new bassist in October 2022 (see below) and dropped their first new song on December 22. Their new album, “Judgement Day”, was released two months later.
They did their first live performances in more than two years in summer of 2023, with their new bassist Fami. Their very first show was commemorated on the DVD “Knocking on Heaven’s Gate”. They have posted four performances from that DVD-“”Hammer of Wrath”, “Judgement Day”, “Nameless Warrior” and “Liar”. All of them are barn-burners. They have also posted “Stand and Deliver”, “Swan Song”, “MDO” and “We the United” from the second concert.
Some background:
They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and founder of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the great European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other groups. The four of them then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she was also trained in ballet).
Miyako has composed a little more than half of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics and is also getting involved in composing.
In mid-2021, Miho left the band she had founded, for personal reasons. They went on hiatus while they searched for a new bassist, and during that time, two of them had babies, even as the band were writing and rehearsing their new album. They recently announced the new bassist, Fami, who is a young phenom and herself a composer and multi-instrumentalist. The instrumentalists studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance was that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining.
They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like crazy). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band."

Miyako is also a virtuoso concert pianist, and was headed for a career in classical music, before picking up the guitar. She is self-taught on the guitar. Every song on the album is a showcase of their incredible talent and songwriting capabilities. “Stand and Deliver” is a thrasher with a fun video of them in the studio. “Soldier Stands Solitarily”, the final song on the album, is being touted by some as the best thing they’ve done so far-I encourage you to see and decide for yourself!

Here some information about the band:
LOVEBITES are around since 2016 and their first EP and album came out in 2017. At this point they have already released 4 albums, some Singles/EPs and also a bunch of live DVD/Blu-ray releases.
Back in 2018/2019 LOVEBITES have already toured in Europe, including appearances at the major metal festivals as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, Graspop. In 2018 they also won the Metal Hammer UK Golden Gods Award for best new band.
Then came covid, their original bass player and founder Miho quit the band for personal reasons and two babies were born. After a break LOVEBITES came back with new bassist Fami and new song „Judgement Day“ in late 2022. A new album with the same title came out in February 2023. It debuted on #4 at iTunes album charts worldwide and #1 at metal charts in 8 countries.
Recently their album „Judgement Day“ was voted #15 in best metal albums of the year 2023 by readers of Metal Hammer UK. Also „Stand and deliver“ was voted on #15 for best metal song of the year. What are fantastic results for a still relatively unknown and foreign band.
LOVEBITES finished touring Japan last October. They will be on a WORLD TOUR this year. First dates are already announced for this summer. They will appear at several festivals. For example they will play on main stage at Hellfest/France, one of the biggest metal festivals in Europe (with 60k tickets sold). Now we (the wolfpack) are all waiting for more dates to be announced …

LOVEBITES was formed in 2016 by Miho(Ba) and Haruna(Dr), members of the band "DESTROSE", which went on hiatus in 2015.
The girls made their major label debut in 2017 (March 24) with "THE LOVEBITES EP".
On 18 June 2018, LOVEBITES won 'BEST NEW BAND' at the Metal Hammer Golden Gods 2018 awards organised by the British metal magazine METAL HAMMER.
On 4 August, LOVEBITES performed on the W.E.T stage at WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018, one of the world's largest annual metal festivals in Germany, with the 10,000 capacity venue almost full.
"Bloodstack open air 2018(Aug. 10)" also participated.
On August 20,2018, LOVEBITES announced that it has partnered with X-ray Touring, one of the largest players in the UK booking agent industry.
LOVEBITES toured the Netherlands, Germany, France and UK from November 13-21, 2018.
Asami (Vo) of LOVEBITES appeared as a guest on stage at Halestorm "Download Japan 2019(March 21)", singing alongside "Lzzy" Hale on Halestorm's 'Love Bites', which gave the band their name.
LOVEBITES performed as a support band for "Arch Enemy's China tour at the Shanghai show on March 23 and the Beijing show on March 24, 2019".
LOVEBITES participated in "dowload Festival 2019(June 15)".
And Asami of LOVEBITES appeared as a guest on stage at Halestorm Download Festival UK 2019, singing alongside "Lzzy" Hale on Halestorm's "Love Bites" again after Japan.
LOVEBITES join DragonForce on UK tour 2019(Nov. 2-14).
On 2 December 2019, LOVEBITES was the support act for the Tokyo leg of Halestorm's Japan tour.
On January 10, 2020, a headline show was held at the venue "The Colosseum™" in the resort hotel Hard Rock Hotel Singapore Resorts World™ Sentosa.

The bassist who played this live was Miho.
On 17 August 2021, LOVEBITES took an extended break after the departure of their leader, bassist Miho.
The remaining girls organised an audition for a new bassist from around the world and recruited a new bassist called Fami(Ba).
Fami is a five-string bassist who can dance, sing and play and has 690,000 CZcams subscribers.

Fami signed a contact for the "Bacchus Handmade Series signature headless bass WOODLINE5AC-HL Fami" at the age of 19.
Fami is currently 21 years old.
LOVEBITES, with new bassist "Fami", finally released their fourth original album "JUDGEMENT DAY" on February 22, 2023.

I was introduced to LoveBites a little earlier than you, a little over 2 months ago. To say that these ladies captivated me is an understatement. These ladies are a collection of diamonds, they are a new phenomenon in the world of metal. In 2018, LoveBites were voted Best New heavy music band in the World! And they received the Golden Gods Award in Great Britain (London) from the famous Metal Hammer!

Haha, the music from these five metal goddesses is always powerful and encouraging us while many other metal bands mostly present darkness, sexuality and craziness.I recommend Swan Song with Chopin intro, Break the Wall, Glory to the World, Frozen Serenade, Liar, Stand and Deliver,,,,,will stop at this point. LOVEBITES are quite possibly THE most musically talented metal band on the planet - especially when you consider Miyako's "concert" level piano skills (not shown in this song, but you may have seen the Grand Piano on stage). I was looking forward to some comments about the band at the end. We heard a few words from Sujy, then ... food van? Was pretty weird.
