Tootling up and down the road is alright for miss Daisy but you need to get your hands on a Vkar Bison for some reasonably-priced 4×4 offroad action DJSF! it's crazy fast out of the box, insane on 4s and lends itself to lots of modding-especially if you drive it like it wants to be driven, it'll soon let you know what needs modding!

I wasn't sure at first if it would work. Of all my years of flying quadcopters, I've never built one but I do have a pretty good knowledge of how the electronics work. So with the cars, it's only about 20% electronics and 80% mechanical, which I failed mechanics in school, LoL!!! Thanks for watching buddy!!!

Nice job DJ! I did a brushless upgrade to my Tamiya Durga and when I went to 3s I stripped or something. I've yet to try and look at it. It has a belt drive though. This buggy will do fine because it is like my HSP. Just baby it at first on 3s and make sure it feels ok. Also be sure to watch the tires. They may start to fly off on 3s though not likely since the Sunfire was a nitro buggy so it likely will handle this with no issues. My Durga was a competition buggy in 2008 but it was designed for brushed motors. Though I had some very fast brushed motor cars on 7 cell NiCD but they didn't isn't the torque and wow factor of brushless with lipo. I'm glad the ZD pinion was the same pitch as the Sunfire so it messed fine. TAMIYA used to include a big and smaller pinion which you could swap depending if you want more acceleration or top end spend I think smaller is more acceleration but it maxes out faster and bigger pinion will be slower off the gun but will reach a faster top end.

LoL, yes, a car guy... at least for this week! It's been raining since the 4th of July and has only stopped for a few hours now & then. When it's not raining, the wind is blowing like hell, so yes... Exceed Rc was one of my first buys way back in the day, i wore that whip out & now its dead. But was fun while it lasted, brushless is the only way to go D.

My mad mod brother !!!! One word of warning , those diff gears are more than likely plastic , so take it easy on 3s. The pinion looks like it turned out to be a good match. Don't forget the fpv video..lol. You and Scotty need to race fpv .

According to the specs, it has metal diffs, not sure though, I haven't verified it yet! Thanks for the tips, I can use all that I can get. This is so new for me, but very addictive as well.

Really good job DJ, I have done mods that I didn't think that I could do on helis, quads and cars so you don't know what you can do unless you try. BTW, my Bugs 4W arrived today and I will be flying it soon.

Hey brother glad to see you getting under the hood like this, i love builds. Have you ever flew a regular race drone? Like a 4 to 6s racing drone with fpv goggles and all of that? It is addicting, also it would be cool to see some reviews and stuff like the tiny hawk and ciniewoops and stuff. @@DJSOULFORCE oh i will im on well the east coast obviously lol but the family loves going to Nags head kitty hawk and all those places down there! You fly fpv with your racer? Or just line of sight? The power is way more controllable from the goggles i think LOS and it going. Inhave a kopis 1 and 2 plus a chameleon TI a darkmax and an et 115vs with pro guards and on 3s thats a good starter drone learned acro from the sim. Started in brushed tot drones about 3 years ago now and been flying race drones for about 2 years now i love this hobby!
