    The two buggies featured in this video are examples of 'how to get into the R/C hobby' WITHOUT BREAKING the bank!!! Both cars were originally brushed motor vehicles, later upgraded to brushless (on a budget!). Thanks for watching guys!!! POW!!!

    The sunfire is a rebranded HSP. I bought the upgraded HSP Fury Ace with upgrades parts over the Xstar a month ago and ran it on my channel the other day, great brushless buggy and fast. I recommend buying these in the brushless versions to start with rather than brushed as the brushed versions usually have cheaper plastic drive and suspension components all round that more often than not you will have to spent money on later. Good bash session DJ POW!!

      Thanks for watching Dave and your feedback. I agree with you on your recommendations. This car is also available as the Redcat Tornado and comes brushed or brushless. They are all fun to drive! Thanks for stopping by brother!!!

      @@DJSOULFORCE yes the Redcat Tornado that's the one, seems like that platform has a few brand variants... I like what you've done with these both by way of upgrades, happy rc bashing DJ 👍

    These are 2 great cars. The Typhon is super fast and the Sunfire is a great looking car and seems to run real well. Just like you I like to have fun running them but worry about breaking stuff. I just got the brushed version of the Sunfire and I'm seriously considering the brushless version but just don't know how easy it would be to get parts for it when something breaks. Thanks for sharing them with us. 💯❤👍

      Thanks for watching and your feedback. Your concerns about the Sunfire spare parts are valid. I've only been able to find parts in China - nothing at my local hobby shops!

      🤣too funny bro, but you're right! Also, different cars have different balance & control off the ramp, I'll get it, that's why we practice!!!

      Watch this video - czcams.com/video/vXhocIdV3ik/video.html In the description you will find various motors and ESC's that will work with this buggy. Be aware that after I shot that video, I eventually upgraded (again) to the Arrma 3S BLX ESC and motor combination found in the 3S Granite. With that upgrade, I also changed out the spur gear and the plastic output gear - czcams.com/video/CRC2FEpFids/video.html Good luck with your upgrades, happy bashing!!!

    Typhon 3s parts for on the Typhon mega ??

    • @DJSOULFORCE
      @DJSOULFORCE  Před 3 lety +1

      I upgraded by using spare parts from a Granite 3S BLX. (motor, ESC, spur & pinion gear) To get the 3S motor to fit, I had to buy the Arrma metal universal motor mount. Check out the videos listed in the description of this video. Good luck, thanks for watching!
