just be aware that if the room is already warmer than the set point it wakes up every 5 minutes to sniff out the temperature, but while doing that it runs the fan and heating element for a bit. you can change that interval to 30 minutes but if you are sleeping in a quiet room it may bother you. mine spends 600 watts for 40 seconds each 5 minutes and the fan runs for about a minute each time.
