Good Job! The first few minutes, where you already had the connectors loosened, let me know this was gonna be an excellent, straight-to-the-point tutorial. Thanks for the clear and simple descriptions!

Good night. I just swapped an engine on a 2007 sprinter. I coded the injectors and when I went to start it cranked... no start. I sprayed the turbo with starting fluid and it turned over and ran for a couple of seconds. I determined that its a fuel delivery issue. I cranked the motor and removed the hose from the filter and the fuel barely came out. I used my scanner to actuate the fuel pump and it shot out with massive pressure. I checked the rails.. nada.. zip no fuel. I disconnected the fuel line by the starter, main fuel line to the engine. When we cranked... same fuel for half a second with no pressure. Checked fuel pump relay and fuse and they are both fine. I read up online that the ecu is responsible for sending the signal to the pump for it to work. Is this correct? Tomorrow I will use my multimeter to see what voltage im getting to the fuel pump. Thanks for your help... anything to point me in the right direction is appreciated.

If you have harbor freight nearby they have a line ringer. Put the ringer on one end and use the wand to detect it. There's often a break in the Y right below the turbo accumulatot

Hi! I have the same issue. My instrument cluster is only partially appearing and my reverse lights along with my reverse alarm go in and out. I’m assuming the issue lies in this harness. Do you happen to know the color coding for these wires?

Also, do you have any footage of the finished product wrapped? Wondering how everything went. I may copy you exactly.

It's easier to intercept the wires coming from the cluster that you're sure are being affected and place a toner on them and use a tone finder to find the wires in the harness. The toner and receiver can be bought cheaply at Harbor freight

After replacing my 2007 motor with a 2017 motor, Im having issues with my camshaft sensor. After replacing the sensor, still the same error. Do you remember which wire or color of that wire? Thank you

How has this harness repair held up for you over the years?

It held up until 350,000 miles then we outgrew it, sold it. Now we have a 16 foot box truck but wished we had a 20 foot box truck.

Something I don't understand? Why did you even do this? None of those wires look like they were broke. Did you do it just to do it

In the video I tested continuity. One of them had intermittent continuity. I had a previous video where I pinned the harness up away from the ridiculous vibration of the motor and that worked for a few years. I'd say it's one of those situations where the wire is broken inside of the insulation..
