- In this 9th episode of my "Unique Connection Series", I fly from Baltimore-Washington (BWI) to Boston Logan with a stop in the small community of Massena, NY. This community in northern NY located along the St. Lawrence River is the 45th EAS airport that I have visited!

I take the flight on an 8-seat Pilatus PC-12/45 operated by San Francisco-based Boutique Air. Views were great along the way with us taking a flight up the river as we got closer to Massena.

While taking a Unique Connection definitely isn't the fastest way of getting where you need to go, it may certainly be the most fun and scenic way of flying. Next time you fly, connect somewhere new, you may just like where you end up.
Excellent video. It's very fact filled and descriptive.
Thanks! Unfortunately Boutique stopped Baltimore to Massena shortly after the video was made, but they still do Massena to BOS 3x daily
I did this trip the other way on my way home from Boston (I'd traveled to Boston on UA from DCA). It was... an experience. I can say I've flown a prop plane. But, and this is nothing against Boutique, I think I'll stick to jets in the future.
MSS was the smallest air terminal, such as it was, I've ever been in. It sure was odd flying into an uncontrolled airport.
It’s a unique experience. This video isn’t possible anymore as they ended service from Massena to BWI, but BOS service still exists
Love that Boutique uses a screenshot from the old X-Plane 10 as advertising sometimes LOL! I noticed it at the beginning of the video. I also hope they are given the new subsidy as well. Would hate to see BWI's ground gates go unused.
Yeah, I noticed the flight sim picture 😅. It’s a cool area at BWI, I noticed a US Airways logo but somehow I didn’t get video of it
I think Boutique has daily cheap flights from Massena to Boston. Easy way for folks who like that St Lawrence River /Adirondack region to get to the city and ocean in a little over a hour.
Exactly, that’s what part of this video is about. Cape Air does fly Saranac to Boston for those folks in the Adirondacks
@@GerardiAviation Thank you didn't know that, nice video too.
Awesome report. Your visits to EAS are great. What’s next? ✈️✈️✈️
Got two inaugurals by the end of the year, one of which is really special but I won’t be saying anything about it before it happens
