- We made this video tour of our RV during a 6 week road trip in Florida. We sold our beloved 1998 Winnebago Minnie and bought a new Itasca Spirit 25B, also made by Winnebago last year in 2016. This video tour, made while on a long road trip, includes pros, cons and upgrades we have made. Hope this video helps you with ideas and decisions if your have an RV or are thinking of getting one. We really do like the Itasca.
Very nice motorhome!!!! Great video
Enjoy
Relevant in 2020! Thanks for the video my dude
You bet!
GREAT video, Thanks.
Glad you liked it!
Don't apologize for the way you speak! You did a fine job!if I wanted to listen to a salesman I would have turned the channel to a professional RV site. You're a class C owner and you're the person I want to know The Good the bad and the ugly from 👏
Thanks!
I thank u did a great job 👍
Thanks!
Very nice setup 👍 thanks
Glad you like it
Thanks for the video. I find the videos made by the customers, not the salespeople, are the most informative.
Thank you!
Nice rig. I like that it doesn't have any slides. I think this is a good size for long term use.
Thank you for the video
Your line of communication (speaking) was just fine. Congratulations on your new rig
Great video, thank you, be safe out there.
Thanks, will do!
Thanks for this video. Very helpful to see a tour from an actual motorhome owner as opposed to a salesperson.
Great video!! You hit all the main points on how you use your RV and some great tips.
Thanks so much!
I agree with person owners are more informative all sales person assume you know everything and rush through. I love your vlogs.
Thanks!
Thank you for taking the time and doing a good review.
Excellent video presentation. You can look at unused rvs all day long ..but this was super informative and practical. Every space is used well. I love that he pointed out the small touches he added that just make sense, like the stretchy things across the shelves, the super cool cup holders that disappear when not in use ..I'm just so impressed. Everything is nicely organized and easily assessable. Just the right amount of personalized homey touches like the Alaskan quilt hangings - just a really clever bunch of great ideas.
Imo ..this RV is just about perfect.
*Is like to say, those hanging shoe holders are also good to use to store toiletries, odds and ends etc..that you can easily access without digging threw drawers and cabinets.
Sir, you did a fantastic job here. Quite honestly, at first glance, if I saw this RV ..I wouldn't think it would be great for 4 people on lengthy trips. But you absolutely have shown that its perfect fit just that. Plenty of space for clothing, electronics -you pointed out how you used a cabinet as pantry storage and you obviously keep your fridge full of fresh food for meals on the go. No worrisome slide outs, no miniscule toilet closet. Gosh I could go on ..lol..I just love the rig, happy adventures to you and family!
Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
Nice
This is the perfect size and laid out RV that I have seen, also great job in describing everything.
Thank you!
Excellent tour and video. Thank you for taking the time. It’s hard to choose, but you made my mind up.
Very good video. Thanks for taking your time to share. Since my wife doesn’t like motor homes I have to be content to sharing your experiences
Great Review! We are looking at Class C's this summer. This was very helpful
Great video and beautiful RV. Thank you!
Thanks!
Very nice job. We have a 2018 Spirt same size, 25 feet. Absolutely love it. Had a 34 foot Tiffin Diesel Pusher before it, too much, too big. So much happier now. Happy and safe travels to you and your family.
Thank you! We have really enjoyed this RV. Happy trails!
Thank you sharing ,thorough video tour I'm still weighing what my best option of rv to downsize. Safe journey and adventures.
Really liked your honest review,it is very nice size motorhome. If you compare your old 98 year Winnebago with this model,do you think still Winnebago make good quality motorhome for the money ?Thanks again.
Yes, I believe from my experience and also reading how other owners of Winnebago Class C RV's appreciate the quality of their new motorhomes, Winnebago is near the top of what is being offered. After our first year of warranty issues, mostly I have just worked on preventative maintenance, upgrades and 2 or 3 minor repairs.
Thank you for taking the time to show us around your Itasca. It is very nice. Safe travels to you.
Great job with all the little tips for how to improve your space! Thanks for showing us!
Nice rig you've got there! Thanks for the tour! Mine is an older Winnebago on a VW eurovan and I just bought it last month, still getting to know it. My monitoring system looks like yours. My rig is smaller though. Like your idea about the stretch fabric and I'm going to look for some. Happy travels to you and your family!
I just sat thru this entire video! I also, didn't say one word..... So, that leads me to say... Very thorough tour. Very informative and you didn't talk just to hear yourself speak. I enjoyed taking the tour with you and appreciate your candor and professionalism. By the way, way to go on the filming! No swinging the camera around like you are on a carnival ride..... five star tour!
Thank you, appreciate your feedback!
Very nice rig and you did a great job showing it!
Thanks!
Thanks for taking the time to make the video. I enjoyed watching it.
Thanks for the tour .... comfy & organized
Thx for showing your motor home, what a nice place! May the sun always shine & the roads be smooth, best wishes from “At a Snail’s Pace”
Thank you! Safe travels to you.
Glad you got more storage so you can use your shower. Thanks for sharing. Awesome video and tour.
Thank you for tour Nice C class. HaPpy safe travels.
I really like how you have your stuff in the storage areas. Gives great perspective. Thanks for showing us
Thank you!
Really, the perfect size RV! I'm surprised that they put together an RV that is close to it's weight limit. So a 450 would have been a better choice of chassis. Good to know. You have a beautiful RV. Congrats.
That little doggie is so cute. So glad you added the wife to the video. But what about you? Need the whole family... with the pooch.
Thank you very much. Our RV video tour of our 1998 Minnie we sold I'm in the video some, everyone was at the beach when I made this one.
Good jobs Sir, I love your video. Am retiring in 9 years, and I will buy one exactly like yours, thank you from Montreal Canada.
Hope you are still enjoying your motorhome! Enjoyed the tour, it's a great size! Dog is cute, and was totally zzzzzd out!
Yes, we still love the RV. Just finishing up a 2 month trip to the northeast states, Slippers our dog loves to go camping. Thanks!
Thank you for a tour inside your home on the road.
Just saw your video......You have a nice motorhome to be proud of. Enjoy it and have fun!
Love your non salesman honest review of your Class C . I am shopping and I can get a much better idea of how i would live by seeing how others live. Salesmen always only talk about the good etc.
Thanks, plan do do another video later about the first years repairs and upgrades on the Spirit 25B.
sherry stacks : Same here! This is more realistic.
Thanks for the tour!
Thank you for the video, good job 👏🏼 GOD BLESS YOU ALL

Nice coach ,lots of storage, enjoyed the video
Great video, never mindthe heaters comments I wish I can have one of this Rv to give a proud tour of it like you did it
Thanks 👍
nice rig! great to see you guys again...I was wondering how you were. I can't believe you got hateful comments! I prefer your natural review to the salesman's scripted schpiel!!! safe and happy travels to y'all!!!
Thanks!
I found your video to be very informative. Thank you.
Thank you Dawn.
Mike you did a great job on the tour/ I have gotten a lot of great idea's. My hubby and I do a lot of camping in our R.V. we have a 28ft Artic Fox trailer with 2 slide outs love it. but are looking to go into a motor home. Not as young a we use to be. We camp a lot in the winter even in the snow by the river (Columbia River in Wa .State. Thank you for sharing. Happy motoring..
Thank you! We have camped down to 12 degree temp and have done fine. Our holding tank heaters and dual pane windows help a lot. We've added more upgrades since I made this video and plan to another soon on repairs and upgrades after 1st year ownership.
Thanks for doing this, really well done tour, hope you folks really enjoy this home on wheels.
Thanks!
Esta presiosa Está preciosa ya yo quisiera tener una así para vivir bien y morir feliz
Thanks for sharing .. I learned a lot ..
.......wow!!......thank you! ........for the full view of the living space!........tired of focusing on buttons/wires/batteries........happy motoring.......:)
Thanks Carla, it's nice to see the interior as a whole in a RV and not just all close ups of individual components. I notice that too when I watch RV video tours.
Enjoyed your video.
Good review brother.Happy New Year and Happy Trails, phil🇺🇸💝🇺🇸💝🇺🇸💝
Thanks! Happy New Year to you and your family!
Thank you for the great video! I'm in SE Ak, and will be getting rv to live in and will park near family. I'm 70. It's been hard deciding what to get, been looking at Minnie Winnie. If you run across another rv like this please mention it. Love the Ak decor!
Thank you Liz, I bought this Spirit 25B at Great Alaska Holidays in Anchorage. Right now they don't have any new Minnie Winnies but I think they have some 2016 ones they rented for 3 seasons, probably with about 40,000 miles on them.
wow! the living area is the same as the old rig - how awesome is that!
How do you like having the kitchen where it is?
I like the kitchen where it is because it's close to the table, we can expand our food prep area on the table but the old RV with the rear kitchen had a window which was nice.
Love it, like the mod in the bathroom, seems very roomy enjoy!
It is roomy for a non-slide out RV, thanks!
thank you..
Thank you for sharing
Enjoyed! Thank you.
Thanks for the video
I am also a happy 25B owner. Very simple all around good rig.
Thanks Paul! I recognize your name for the Minnie Winnie Owners FB Group. Mike Gladu
👍 Nice job, thanks. Did I miss how much mileage you are getting?
Thanks! Average 8.5 to 9.3 mpg.
love the video and love this class of rv,, it is one i am really interested in getting but a smaller one, right now we have a 5th wheel , oh and also love the bird's intake on your video,, its priceless lol :)
Thank you!
Very nice.
I like what you did to bathroom
Thank you!
Nice tour of your home on wheels! There are a lot of jelouse haters out there!!! Don't sweat the small stuff. Treat yourself to a tall ice tea!
Thanks! Will do!
Good job, love this coach. Thanks for the tour. By the way don't let the haters get to you, they are not your audience.
Thanks!
👍Very nice. 💞
When I get my motorhome it will be the 25 ft at the most it will be my only vehicle car and home at same time so will be driving it to work too
Ha..ha..hey Micheal..I think that bird also likes your RV and don't like you too near it either? lol
Thank you so much for the tour. I am researching, and your video was very informative. I was grateful for the details. I love the décor, the interior wood cabinets' color and especially the blanket on the sofa! I thought the netting was a clever organizational idea. How did you attach it to the shelves?
The netting came with screws and I used a close quarters right angle drill bit attachment I got on ebay to install the screws where needed for inside mounting the netting like in the bathroom cabinet.
Good information Nice job!
You did just fine! Don’t worry about ugly people!
Thanks!
Very nice class C and a very nicely done video. Sometime in the future I would love to get a class C, 16 years until retirement though. Did you do any RV travels before retirement? Thanks for the RV review!
Thank you! We did have a 1998 Winnebago Minnie 22ft. Class C for 15 years before this one and other RV's before that one. Mostly before retirement we just traveled around Alaska plus the Yukon and British Columbia.
☺️
Hi Mike - nice vide tour of the Winnie 25B.... This is one of the floor plan that I am considering when I retire in 2 years... Just curious.... what kind of mileage do you get? With 4 people and cargo, is the power sufficient? Any issues with going up steep grades or merging into highway traffic? I also noticed that center console in between the dash is really wide.... does it get the way of leg room for driver and passengers? Safe travels, I hope to be doing the same thing in 2 years.
Thanks John. We always track our gas mileage on long trips, it varies but our average is 9.3 MPG with our 5.4 L V8. The power is sufficient with 4 people w/ cargo and grades plus merging. On the steeper grades we use the 'tow haul mode' feature and that also aids with engine braking coming downhill. The center console is fine for me and my wife but we are not big people. I do like all the cup holders and storage places in the console and doors compared to what my old 98 Minnie had.
It looks cosy. Very nice video.
Good tour. I am looking into the class c. Your home is beautiful.
This is what my girl wants
What size netting did you use in your open cabinets? I ordered nets from ObeCo & none of them stretch to fit the distance they're supposed to fit.
I don't remember what size I ordered but I ordered them from organizedobie.com and used their dimension guide that showed minimum and maximum distance that each barrier net stretched.
I enjoyed the walkthrough. Does it bother the person sitting in the passenger seat since it doesn't give much leg room? I have sat in this type and the smaller space bothers me. This is the layout I like though. Thanks for sharing.
My wife does fine with it, she is petite. In the drivers seat I push the seat as far back as it will go and I am comfortable with it but I am only 5 ft. 7 in. and have a 30 in. inseam, a lot of taller people would like more leg room then the Ford E chassis provides.
dont listen to the haters
You should put an affiliate link with the brand of your TV antenna! If it is that good everyone wants to know the brand, model, etc!
It's a King Jack HDTV Directional Antenna.
Thank you for the video ! Great job ! I’m looking at a 2009 to buy
Itasca spirit. Would like to live full time in RV . I’m single female 57 the rv 31 foot . I think I can drive it with confidence in time, bit nervous about that. I feel like Winnebago brand is pretty good quality compared the some ?
Thank you! I feel like Winnebago makes excellent Class C RV's. The structure is important when buying a motorhome, water is very destructive, be careful not to buy one with any delamination or soft areas of the structure which could indicate water leakage and dry rot. There is a group on Facebook called Minnie Winnie Owners that's helpful with questions about Winnebago Class C RV's.
I wish more regular folk would do this, it's a more honest opinion.
Looking to living in a motorhome so I thinking about putting extra propane tank in it maybe 50 lbs to 100 lbs for winter use what you think I should put it??
It should go on the outside space of the RV for safety reasons. What might be best if you are in one spot for a while is to have an LP gas line quick disconnect plumbed into the existing LP gas system and leave your 100 lb cylinder on the ground while you are using it. How you would do it mobile I can't answer.
No 150 Miles out of a T.V. antenna.
My mistake, it's 100 miles- www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/entertainment-comfort-camping/tv-antennas-tv-satellites-electronics/antennas/jack-tv-antenna-white_24.0336
Turn on air for dog, they say it gets hotter by 20 degrees.
We just turned off the generator and the AC for a few minutes while making the video as it is noisy. In the last couple of clips you can hear it running again. We take good care of our dog.
How Much Do you want For it
This wasn't a video trying to sell it, we're still happy with the RV.
