      Thumbs down is a slow finger trick and requires a lot of strength so I recommend using thumbs up finger trick instead because it's faster and requires less strength.

    I’ve found the finger tricks pretty helpful, but do you have any tips to get rid of pauses in algorithms? I would always pause in sections and I haven’t been able to get rid of it

      if it's because of regrips then you have to find a way to eliminate regrips (watch my OLL/PLL videos for example algorithm executions)

    The more u use the a speed cube your finger tricks improve naturally like i learned almost all of them naturally, but some of the finger tricks sometimes are not naturally developed and videos like this really helped me improve my finger tricks.

    you know, it really sucks when you need to improve your solve time but all you have is a rubik's brand cube and your speedcube is supposed to come in tomorrow at 9pm on *sunday* which means you won't have any time to practice with it until after school on monday yknow how that feels? mkay i got it now and it's HELLA smooth for 24 bucks. worth it.

    6:17 i actually do the m move but a different way i use my index finger bring it all the way up and push down to the alg it also leaves you in home grip so you don't need to regrip i prefer tying this as it helps me to be faster

    Hey J Perm, I was just wondering how long it should take to get an average of 30s. I haven't been cubing for long, and I wondered how long it took you to get to where you are today at your 8s.

      It took me an Month to get Sub-40 Average and with a lot of practise you can get Sub-30 in under a month. But after that, It will get a lot harder to Improve from short times to shorter times, like for example : Sub-20 -> Sub-10 or Sub-25 -> Sub-15

      Either get a faster cube or get some sort of cube lubricant

    i learned m slice pretty quick by just using generated scrambles but adding an m slice after every single move in the scramble, lots of re gripping and scrambles took longer but it was really easy to get used to it.

      With basic eo you should only ever get this when you multislot for the last two pairs and can't necessarily do eo, and then it's a 1/216 chance. So it's pretty rare yeah
