  • It IS possible to actually solve a Rubik's Cube in 5 seconds (or even faster than that) despite what other "how to" videos might make you think. How do I know that it's possible? Because I've done it myself. And if I can do it, you can too! In this video, I'm going to show you how to ACTUALLY solve a Rubik's Cube in 5 seconds. The REAL way.

obviously this is true: my grandmother certainly couldn't have, when she was alive. maybe I can't ever reach that level, either-I'm not generally a fast person, and I don't do timed things well in general.

The alg for that case preserves everything in LL, except that the sticker facing up on the BU edge will move to the location of the front facing sticker on the FU edge.

I'm currently trying to achieve a sub-60s average and I've been practicing for about two weeks. I've reduced my time from 2-2.5 minutes to about 75s, however I've had two 50s solves when I got a lucky cross, great F2L options, and PLL skips. I'm also using 2-look OLL/PLL. My ultimate goal I think is to get to 30s. At that point I'll make a judgement call on how fast I want to be and if learning full OLL/PLL is worth the time.

(3x3) I average around 15-16. My pb is 9.2 but it was really a lucky one. I have been cubing for around 8-9 months, I know full pll, good f2l algorithms (even some oll and f2l I found myself and they are really good), I don't know full oll yet (I know around 90% of the oll algorithms, for the ones I don't know, I use 2 look oll). And at the beginning of the quarantine my average was around 16-18 and now it is like I said 15-16. I want my average to be around 10-11, maybe even less. People who are reading this, what can I do to get there (10-11 second solves) and in how many months can I get there?

Hello Brody, I love your videos and you are amazing at cubes I thought maybe you could look for a way to solve the rubiks cube using only algorithms because my average is 50 and pb is 34 but I’m really fast at algorithms and then I will be able to solve super fast, Thanks😀
