Nostalgia feels... I remember always seeing a PAL 747 flying by
This was my favorite airplane since i was a kid and i just knew when i grew up that the plane is already retired! Even if I haven’t experienced riding it but the PAL 747 will always be the queen of the skies! ❤️❤️❤️
Fr
You can still fly with the Queen of the skies with Korean Air, Air China and Lufthansa
maganda yong pagka landig .... thumbs up to the pilot :)
This is always the "Queen Of The Sky"
I just love how old Philippine Airline 747 pilots baby the landing gears. Nice smooth touchdown. Watch videos of other airlines and they usually just slam down hard on the runway, even when doing manual landing.
I haven't observed the PAL 747 landings specifically but as a passenger in all other planes they have, I do notice they baby ALL of them in landings. No matter what the weather is, good or bad, the approach may be rocky but they somehow manage to make the touchdown silky smooth compared to other airlines and planes I've flown in.
I agree with you completely. Smoothest touchdown for all my recent flights from HKG-MNL-SIN and SIN-MNL-HKG. PAL pilot training done right.
Ryanair is wat u talking about
@@noace7689 747 of the other airlines doea hard landing you dont even think What your think what ur saying
@@ericpitar In bad weather (Wet runway) they purposely land it a little bit hard to avoid hydroplaning.
What a perfect beautiful landing😍😍😍
I really miss the boeing 747 philippines airlines since she was retired i wish there is the A380 philippines airlines
My favorite big Bird in the Sky, Boeing 747
When I got my first ride in an airplane it was a surprise that I'll gonna ride a Boeing 747 to Davao from Manila. It was a good experience.
I was on board on that plane on my way to Davao. It is connecting flight I've been board from PR854 Cebu to Manila- PR813 Manila to Davao during November 3, 2012 respectively. It is my first time to aboard that plane & I feel the excellent service especially to the passengers as well. I'm very glad that I aboard just like to travel abroad. For me, I'm very happy that I aboard Philippine Airlines flight Boeing 747-400 ERF for the first time. MABUHAY!
:(
I miss PAL B747-400
About RP-C7475 : The aircraft was originally slated for Kuwait Airways as 9K-4DF but was cancelled when the airline modified it's order for Boeing 777s as a result PR acquired instead as N754PR which later re-registered to its final registration until it was retired in 2014 along with the other Boeing 747s.
I love the Philippine 🇵🇭 on the tail, really pretty! Truly, PAL is the ❤️ of the Filipino... ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
If it's owned by the republic of the Philippines
old is gold and this is one of them.
Smooth landing nice
very nice and smooth landing good pilot.
I love phillipenes country.
My favorite
very smooth landing
Superb landing by these Philippines pilots.
Peter Mandrell thank you!
Wow. Thats heavy there. Nice landing
I've watched this nostalgia as a kid, also realising PAL and CEB rarely sends long haul aircrafts..
Best of the best.
2014 viewer here☝
I miss the queen in this classic livery.
It still in a current livery. Walang nagbago since 1986.
smooooooooooooth landing
you can see SM Lanang Premier from here! nice vid renz!
good landing the touchdown is good
The Philippine Airlines should have not cancelled their A380 orders Davao and Cebu can actually handle the A380 aircraft
huskar741 Totally wrong. In order for the a380 to park on gates they need to upgrade the gates
Clark can handle an a380
What no, It also has to be with the gates not only RWY plus the fuel, so basically, Gates too small, yet fuel will be consumed too lol
@@idrinkbleach8616 totally correct, a380s can be handled if the gates are long enough to fit the gigantic plane
Because it is not the Demand for Pal
I live in Davao city too.
Awesoem butter landing
last oct. 2, 2012.. i was onboard on this plane... davao - manila...
I saw it taking off thats our cebu pacific on the gate
Very good vantage view. Was this taken from the control tower?
perfect atraksyon manang sagbotan...
wow, bagong pinta :-)
@chris banez: davao's runway dimension is 3000m x 45m and it's ALREADY ENOUGH to handle 747. Are you a pilot? No? Ok.
Renz Bulsec
DNF
Fuck you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Renz Bulseco Iwuuuuuiiiiiijjyu.
Renz Bulseco try am Airbus A380
Ofcourse the runway can take the a380. Napakahaba kaya nyan 3000 meters. Big jets like a380 or 747 needs 2750 meters at max takeoff weight (i think) so It meets its standards. Kaya nga international airport ang tawag eh. Hindi regional airport.
@SpaceCruising07 to make it short. The runway is enough(with fair weather) but the parking is not. And yes. Lugi rin airlines, a320s nga may nakikita pa akong bakante.
@@vorgeyahiya8613 they probably only sent their 747s when davao has high passenger demand or large cargo stuff
Actually, as of 2023, F. Bangoy Int’l Airport is still *INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.* Kahit wala makikitang malalaking eroplano sa banyagang airline (gaya ng Emirates A380, o Singapore 787), meron pa ring Int’l flights na galing sa Singapore, at China papunta da Davao.
@chris Sa Flight Simulator X lng yun nahihirapan ang 747-400 sa runway hehe. parang ako, pag take off sa runway nose gear up tail hits the runway and i skid towards samal island haha.
super like. . .
nice lading
cool..
syempre sa manila galing yan..
Do you know "WHY" Davao airport can handle heavy planes? BECAUSE WE CAN!!! End of story...
😂😂😂😂😂
We can also handle emirates airlines right?
Others can too lols
The 747 is fine, but the A380? Could be partial (the runway was fine, but not the apron and a gate. It’s too large).
Qatar can handle but not Emirates I think
since then DIA's landing strip has been lengthened to more than 3kms so meaning its within the international standard and a lot of room for landing
nice video renz...
ahhh I could hear those planes screaming its really loud
Perfect! More videos to come please :)
miss pal
Was that your ride to Manila?
Gigante
I want it back.
It already had another life as a Freighter some 747-400s have already been converted into freighters and bought by cargo airlines
Ahh the giant Boeing 747 400
wow... that was a smoooooooth landing! :)
allow me to use this video for our project.thank you! :)

Great catch of the PAL B747! Is it still in service now?
PAL 747 is not in service anymore. PAL 747 is already retired.
Sad to see it retired! Such a beautiful plane!
Yeah i like it but it's gone now🇵🇭😭😭😢😭😭
dont now

Yes it is!
lols.ntawa nman ako dun..I've been in davao since I was a little kid.pbalik balik kami ng davao dahil tga davao tito ko and madalas kami pumunta ng pikit cotabato and nag aral ako sa davao..sinasabi ko lang yung na eexperience ko na pag airbus yung lalanding pag baba lumiliko agad dahil di ko pa ntry and boeing papuntang davao
nice vid at 1:32 3 airlines in the philippines
So sad I didn't try to ride the Boeing bound for Davao before😭.Davao is were my family live and the place were I have vacation every year
Yeah, so sad they had to retire their entire fleet of B747-400 3 years ago.
NAIA ang biggest sir
tirada part?
+Chris Banez is trying to question an actual video showing the aircraft landing just fine. Most all planes reverse thrust because it's cheaper to stop the plane that way than to burn out the brakes and tires.
LANCEGUBALLA
No, it's about 25% power used for reverse thrust
747-400D: First time?
one day i will be a pilot of 747 :)
JD Mcpe same but the 747 just retired
Looking into granted have lmao
@@lookingintograntedhave8793 The 747 isn’t yet retired, unless some airlines operate the old 747 and other were operate a 747-8 (final generation of a 747). That’s a long time before their retirement and there’s a chance.
Pde pa naman if commercial pilot habol mo may chance ka pa sa Lufthansa, or Korean Air their still operating their passenger B747s or sa Atlas Air as a Freight cargo plane
Probably I was onboard.
Wow! what a big and nice aircraft. Wish i could travel with this someday. Anyway is this aircraft still operational?
PAL retired its entire 747 fleet in 2013
@@renzybenzy2014
gusto nako airbus a380 napud if maigo bah sa runway

watchout people we got a keyboard pilot in here.
Saan na ngaun ang b747?
Retired na paps.
cguro CEB yang cnasabi mong airline.
the video was cut. Its obvious you havent been to Davao. DIA a lot beter than NAIA or MCIA, in terms of personnel and facilities.
i dont think now philippines airlines doesnt have 747 i havent seen one yet i have seen only 2011
Philippine Airlines replaced all the 747s in their fleet with Boeing 777s. They had a ceremony on the last 747's final flight before they retired it.
Fidel Ramos ang nagsample na nag direct Flight from CA. to Subic.
Is that 5 star class aircraft?....
It's still 4 stars but this airline is aiming to reach 5 stars.
pwede na ba mag back throttle pag naka baba na yung back wheels?
Oo Pwede na
Oo it makes you slow down diba??
mhm and its. called reverse thrusters
beecas pnoy pilots hab been trained well :D
Y u no du raf landing pnoys?
kuayawa uie
Kaya nga ba ng runway ang A380?
RWY Yes, But the terminal is another story

Diba Carl Johnson Felizardo? Yung bukol talaga ang nagdala hehehe
I think hump yung tawag nun hnde bukol
Yun nag land akala ko maliit
1st NAIA, 2nd Mactan, 3rd Davao =)

adie simbajon Wala nabang airphil express ngayun???
