- Seen here are purley Boeing 747 aircaft taking off with their powerful eingines! The famous Boeing 747 also nicknamed “the Queen of the Skies” with its iconic hump at the front at the aircraft. It is loved by almost the whole of the aviation community. Seen here is a collection of Boeing 747 aircraft landing or taking off. The “older” Boeing 747-400 version and newer Boeing 747-8 version are included, also cargo versions and passenger Boeing 747-400s converted to cargo aircraft.

The 747-400 has thee engine choices of improved turbofans: the Pratt & Whitney PW4000, General Electric CF6-80C2 or the Rolls-Royce RB211-524G/H. Its two-crew glass cockpit and was one the first Boeing 747 aircraft without the need for a flight engineer. It typically accommodates 416 passengers in a three-class layout over a 13,940 km (7,285 nmi) range with its 370.000 tones or 875,000 lb Maximum Take Off Weight (MTOW).
Unfortunately the passenger version of the Boeing 747 is becoming more and more rare as is it not as fuel efficient as twin engined aircraft, and costs more in maintenance. Therefore airlines are phasing these wonderful aircraft out of their fleets. The first 747-400 was rolled out on 26 January 1988 and made its maiden flight on 29 april 1988. The Boeing 747-400, with 694 delivered over the course of 20 years from 1989 to 2009, is the best-selling Boeing 747 variant. Its closest competitors were the smaller McDonnell Douglas MD-11 trijet and Airbus A340. It has been superseded by the stretched and improved Boeing 747-8, introduced in October 2011. With its stretched fuselage is by 18 ft (5.6 m) to 250 ft (76.3 m), it was the longest airliner until the 777X-9, first flown in 2020. As of May 2020 137 Boeing 747-8s have been delivered with 16 more to be build, als this giant has not a very bright future ahead. But luckily we still have the footage 😉

A festival of power and glory. The 747 has a mystique held by no other aircraft.
Boeing 747 is the ferrari of airplanes🤟
Crewed on the 747 in the 80s. Such a majestic proud boss of the skies. Passenger counts up to 520 plus 20 crew, lots of souls and then cargo to boot.
To me no major airports will be complete without a 747 in it
To me the boing 747 has got to be the most famous and most recognised air craft of all time
I have to agree on that, kinda sad that they’re being retired next year.
Yes 747 and DC3
Absolutely 👍
Concorde…

Long live the 747 Queen the sky ..such beautiful aircraft will not be forgotten..
The first one is my favorite! Boeing and Pratt&Whitney: Perfect Together!
Most recognizable passenger jet in the history of mankind. Loved flying on them!
I wouldn't mind flying on one. What does that plane offer and how smooth is the ride?
@@NineballChris it was one of the widest jumbo planes. Lots of comfort, lots of leg room (even in economy) and it always felt like a smooth flight. Even on long distance international flights you never felt turbulence!!!!!!!!! 👍
WATCHING 747s NEVER GETS OLD!! could watch it all day long.
For me it's that unmistakable high pitch ringing of the Pratt and Whitney engines roaring as the 747-400 is running down the runway for takeoff. Just incredible 👍
The spool-up sound alone makes my heart race
It gets me too there's a lot of power in those four engines.
I'm making parts for this engins

Music to my ears!
The B747 was a legend in its time.
The 747 WAS a legend, dearest Larry Smith?? No, Larry, I think you've made a mistake there...ehh?? Do you disagree with me when I put it this way; the 747 REMAINS as a legend?? Please have a LEGENDARY easter holiday :)
The BEST 747 video on CZcams!! 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
Most beautiful plane of aviation industry.I love it.
Great tribute to the Queen. Anybody else a little nostalgic that we no longer see these giants sporting the Pan Am or TWA livery?
I heard there using them for cargo (freight) only... As of hmmm 3 yrs I think . Safest planes ever as there using ized, fuel efficient. Planes that are horrible
Yes I always remember Pan Am and TWA 747's taking off at the runway in SFO in the mid 1970's. I miss them
TWA AND PAN AM WENT BANKRUPT TWA WAS 200 AND IT WAS ACQUIRED BY AMERICA AIRLINES
@@LeeHarvey1962 I know that. But I use to enjoy watching them take off at SFO in the 70's
I remember my first flight ever with a PanAm 747 in 1978. Simply unforgettable ❤
I never get sick of watching this magnificent plane.
The greatest invention of humankind (for me).....
Queen of the Skies! ✈ 💙💯
I could watch 747’s take off and land ALL DAY 🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
Me too!
100%%%%😍😍😍😍
Same here! Just a beautiful aircraft invention, from taking off and landing, it beautifully takes off and beautifully lands like a gigantic bird, unlike A380 I didn’t find any charm of that aircraft at all! I love the Queen, I’m a 747’s Forever fan!❤❤❤
Me too
BOEING 747 : Queen of the skies.
Power, style, function - a legend !
Love the turn and burn on that first KLM !
✨ ✌☮ 🌎
It's massive and impressive. One of the greatest planes in the history of aviation Industry. Loved it✈️✈️✈️

@@ylass8884 I found you now. They will bring you to me.
It is not a plane.
It is THE plane.
@@lamaspacosM😂
Here because my favorite plane is 747F
I mean, who doesn't love the glorious Queen of the Skies.
Such a beautiful plane
It is a beautiful and magnificent plane
Greenies.
🥰
Airbus fanboys, that's who...
If ever a jet had heart and soul 747 is it. The plane went from design to construction in approximately 29 months approximately 50 years ago when computer power was probably in its infancy. That is as relevant as the 747 has been. For as big as it is it is one sleek very beautiful jet. God bless Joe Sutter, I believe that was his name. At least the jet is still flying as a cargo plane. LONG LIVE THE 747.
747 will always be the King!
I was 9 years old when the 747 came into service... enough said.
The most majestic aircraft ever built. She's beautiful.
never tired with the queen's roaring
Same here😉
This is the most beautiful commercial airplain in Aviation history.
B747 the most beautiful plane!.
Thanks for posting, very sadden that that the production of the 747 has come to an end.Was very blessed as child at 10yrs old to have flown on one!Even to this day, still boggles my mind on how something so massive can get off the ground. Long live Queen of the skies!!!
That 747-8 is a beautiful bird isn't it!
The prettiest bird in the sky! Forever
747 my one and only favorite plane and the one i like the most. beautiful, stylish easily recognisable anytime anywhere. some call it queen of the skies, i prefer to call it the hunchback which is its trademark. watching this plane land and take off is like the 9th wonder of the world.
Love the Martinair 747-400. Nowadays, most 747's are cargo, but heck, that is what the 747 was designed for in the first place.
I don't know what they have on other planets, but this here is our baby!
Love me some Boeing 747 action!
I got to fly them for 12 years at Northwest and Delta. What a great aircraft to fly. I miss her.
Grace, power, and beauty! No one can ever, ever take that away from these stunning creations of mankind. The 747 will always be imbedded in my heart and millions of others like me, as the greatest plane to ever to ever ride the sky. My uncle flew these beautiful birds during his piloting career with United Airlines; l'm so jealous!
I flew on Northwest Orient and then again when it became Delta airlines. Flew on the 747-400 twice to Tokyo Japan and also to the Philippines. Best plane I've ever flown on. 👍
I will never get tired of watching these gorgeous Queens❤️
Was only on two flights in a 747. Take off and landing were amazingly smooth. Loved it.
I enjoy every video about the Boeing 747 knowing that they have been discontinued and soon we may not see them anymore
That SIA cargo nose gear touchdown might be the softest ever I've seen, not even a whiff of smoke.
Also, great compilation!
Over the years I built a lot of parts for the 747 while I worked for Boeing and after all that time it still amazed me those aircraft can get off the ground. I forget the weight fully loaded but it is amazing it can fly. Much like the Airbus A380 massive hulking aircraft but so graceful in flight...
Flew on one when I was 12 years old from Minneapolis to Frankfurt. Loved it even as a 12-year-old. The landings were so smooth that the entire plane cheered and clapped. I also had the opportunity to fly on an A380 from Los Angeles to Bangkok, Thailand a few years ago; another engineering marvel in its own right.
I grew up near LAX in the 70s and 80s, 747s in and outbound were almost as frequent as this video, sadly not anymore since the next gen wide body twins. Queen of the Skies.
Back then, all serious companies flew 747s in their fleets.
I love to fly. I love the sound of the engines, I would fly every day!
I would if I could afford to!
That's why I like watching planespotting channels. LA Flights is the main channel I watch. :)
Even after flying long haul on B747s ( USA/Canada, Caribbean/Latin America) still never ceases to amaze me at the size and power of these aircraft.
Aussie long hauler, took my first flight on a 747 in the 70's and after many others models since then, will always remember my first love, the "Jumbo" 747.
@@ylass8884 I gotta give the thumbs up on that, flew Tristars in the late 1970s to America flew People's Express and British Airways 747s in the 80s and 90s to America and Caribbean region , Tristars are great but B747s were in a class of their own and then Boeing built triple 7s fantastic aircraft considering they're twinjets, went BA & Air France 777 to Brazil a few times.
@ 5:15 two looks at man's ingenuity one built for moving land and one built for leaving land if only we could use our smarts to love one another.
Boeing 747, the best in history, half a century of service to civilization, changed the history of access to flying, changed the history of passenger movement in the terminals, which forced them to be made larger and more efficient, which made the industry grow of tourism, that is, an airplane that came to change humanity and deserves to be treated with great respect, like the DC-3 or the 707 at the time.
Gotta love aviation & the majestic jumbo 747
Wouldn’t it be cool if Orville and Wilbur Wright came back to watch this video ??
The 747-400s sound the best
The beauty of these birds keeps surprising me... wow! ❤️ The 1st KLM takeoff is awesome and sharp, even on my smart TV! Well done pal!
Thank you so much!
Well, my father worked in KLM, India and I think I am very fortunate to have seen these jumbo jets from KLM and also other airlines, take off and land. But personally, I find no other Airlines as enthralling as KLM Royal Dutch Airlines!!
Oh my gosh!!!!! As a complete 747 geek I ate this up - thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!
The short take off ability of the 747 is insane
I was stationed in Europe. I got home to L.A. in '69 and went to L.A. Airport when I saw my first 747 take off. Of course, I wondered if this thing would get off the ground. It did with both power and grace. Each generation just gets better.
First one takes the cake with that low frequency growl - I love it when I hear that.
Finally someone who has managed to encapsulate the sound of these awesome aircraft , thankyou
Boeing 747 never die still lives on
B747 was a majestic plane! I am still saving $1 every day so that one day I can own my own B747 before they become extinct.
Puts a smile on your face!! Gorgeous!!
She is the most majestic aircraft ever built. Modern liners look clunky and chunky beside Her Majesty.
747s being cargo flight are the best and the most attractive !!!!😍💯
Awesome!
😍🥰
From a design perspective - aesthetics & performance - this aircraft is sheer perfection.

I'm enjoying the 747 while I can. I hate to think they're time is running out.
Gotta love a bit of 747!
gotta kiss a bit of 380's cabin
747 with no windows and just smooth white paint is so delightful to look at

Thanks for watching captain and shift commander LABonte air mobility command patriot wing commander usaforce
Bring back the B-747. Best jet plane ever!
Awesome! I love the 747!
I was lucky enough to have traveled on British airways, klm, and virgin 747s while growing up in Malawi Africa. A lot of hours spent in these amazing machines. California to the uk, uk to South Africa, to east Africa. Insane to look back on.
That was a smooth landing @ 8:50
Great video! You just can’t beat the 747.
747 take offs and landings are the most graceful of all planes
I didn't think that there were that many -400 passenger aircraft still in operation. There is no more a beautiful aircraft than the 747.
"There is no more a beautiful aircraft than the 747."

I never been on any plane in my life, but man i love B747 the queen of the sky.. 👑
few sights are as euphoric as a jetliner taking off on a wet runway
Hail to the queen 👑
LOL this is way better than counting sheep
The sexiest aeroplane ever invented.
Love 747-400
The Airbus A380 may have been the largest civilian plane built but the 747 is a legendary plane so steeped in our psyche, songs have been written about it.
The Boeing 747 was always my favorite commercial aircraft. I miss it .
My favourite aircraft of all time❤❤❤🙂😉👍I hope they continue to fly for many more years to come❤❤❤🙏🙏🙏 Great video!!!
Appreciate this compilation. Me and my family haven't travel yet since this pandemic happened. We usually go on out of town or out of the country. My 3 yrs old son wants to watch this all over and over again..
I can't wait to get inside of this airlines. It seems extremely professional.
I wonder if the engineers at Boeing would have ever known the incredible beauty and fame the 747 would have
747 The QUEEN of the sky
Let’s see how many 747’s come back after the airline industry recovers after the pandemic?
