    Step #1: Wash Face.
    Step #2: Moisturize face.
    Step #3: Shaped fro.
    Step #4: Changed shirt because the black one i had slept in. (I like pink)
    Step #5: Put some earrings in.
    3:22 Is where I say makeup does not make you look feminine.
    I just chose to show you guys the rest of my routine because I like makeup.

    If you feel like this video is disrespectful to black women and natural hair please watch this video FIRST before you comment. (czcams.com/video/abWr4IrUaNI/video.html) that video teaches you how to love your natural natural hair. This video was made for a lady who still couldn't love her hair in its shrunken state, after that video. I don't judge people, I just try to help. Not everyone has a high confidence level like us, this video is for the ladies whose confidence level is a bit lower. If you are just trying to get on this video and show boat how much confidence you have, and how much of a bad bitch you are, please remember, there are about a 100 comments below yours of people saying they really needed this video because they just couldn't find the confidence. Your comments referring to your high confidence doesn't help those who don't have it. It only makes them feel worse for not having it. I do not judge. I make videos for anyone who is struggling with their hair.
    Family hates your natural hair:

    Why you should love your type 4 hair no matter what!:
    czcams.com/video/abWr4IrUaNI/video.html
    How to look feminine with short natural hair:
    czcams.com/video/wLHFLn8oPMM/video.html
    (Yes I changed the name, because people were only caring about the title and not what I was actually saying in the video.)
    I was just about to put this video on private when I woke up to a bunch of people calling me a dumbass, but as I scrolled through the comments and saw how many thank you's I got, I decided to push through.
    P.S. if you were actually listening to the video, I said you only need to do steps 1-4 or 5 which is what you should be doing in the first place, washing your face, getting the crust out of your eyes, blah blah. The makeup portion, I literally said, you don't have to do it. This is just what I do because I like makeup.

      I promise I am not trying to be argumentative I just wanted to have a little bit of a discussion about this. I agree with most of the tings you stated. You're right not everyone has as much confidence as others. But when that happens I think we should focus on the underlying causes of the insecurities, not trying to cover them up. If a girl was not confident about having dark skin, it wouldn't be productive to make a tutorial on how to bleach your skin. Because once they cover up that one problem they will find something else to be insecure about because the true underlying causes of the non-confidence were not addressed. Yeah they fixed their hair problem with this video but then a few months later they might start thinking "society makes me feel like my nose is masculine cause it's wider, let me look up some nose contouring videos". And it will be a vicious cycle until they acknowledge why they feel the need to be insecure about natural hair or natural features in the first place. You do have a video on 'Why you should love your type 4 hair' and that is awesome! It's super amazing that you addressed that in your video! But idk that's all I really have to say, hope this made sense.

    • @Chazzzisawesome
      @Chazzzisawesome  Před 7 lety

      +Imani- Tarpeh I totally get what your saying but please keep in mind I did not say in order to look feminine you need to straighten or perm your hair. This video would have to be titled "how to straighten your natural hair with acid to look feminine" to equal your comparison. You are reading to deep into this video and making something out of nothing. I did not harm my gorgeous kinky hair in any way to film this. I did not bash anything about us and to compare my video to that is really hurtful because that's not what this video is in even the slightest bit. I am short and I dress like a tomboy from time to time. When someone bumps into me and looks down I have a short fro and boy clothes on and they always apologize. For me it's an honest mistake so I keep it moving. However some women out there can't handle that mistake and they will run to the next perm. I made this video to show them they don't need to run to perm their hair because our natural hair is just fine. Hence why I did not "define" any curls or manipulate my fro. Because our hair is beautiful no matter what.

    • @imanitsunami3693
      @imanitsunami3693 Před 7 lety

      Yeah I probably am reading too deep into this lol. And I could tell that you did not mean anything harmful with this video. Just don't want any girl to stumble across this video and feel that they need to do extra things to be considered more of woman just because their hair is short. If you want to do those things then there is no problem, just don't feel that you need to. Short hair on girls is actually super sexy and cute! Your other videos and your comment do make it clear though that you are not intending to send a harmful message! I am glad you replied because people will be able to read your comment and understand, because they might have took this video the wrong way initially.

    • @Chazzzisawesome
      @Chazzzisawesome  Před 7 lety

      Thank you so much for understanding. Im probably going to change the name entirely because people took the title and ran with it, without REAALLLLY watching the video. Tips 1-5 are literally, washing your face, moisturizing your face, taking the eye boogies out, shaping your undefined fro, and putting some clothes on. After that I give a makeup tutorial and I LITERALLY say you only need to do steps 1-5. Which are steps you should be doing anyways because they involve daily hygiene. I only did the makeup portion because i like makeup. However I even say makeup doesn't not make you look "feminine". People are really not watching the video.

    I honestly didn't care if people said I looked like a boy. I thought it was funny, and I even went as far as wearing "mild" guy clothing just to give them something to talk about. Most girls didn't even want to say anything "audible" when I wore guy clothing versus when I wore somewhat girly clothes.

  • @sleazepuff
    @sleazepuff Před 7 lety +2

    as someone who may or may not look a little masculine from time to time (i just really like structured button downs and keeping my fro pretty short!!!), this was refreshing. first natural hair video i've seen that says to just shape your fro - which is what i do - rather than list 10 steps to define your curl pattern further.

    I just seen this video and honestly I really needed this. I'm trying to take pride in my hair and love how it looks, but somedays I just don't feel beautiful. I find myself just wishing I had some box braids or any protective style so I wouldn't have to deal with my hair. It made me look unfeminine and it was really damaging my confidence. But this video really helped me gain some confidence back and make me feel beauitful and strong. This video was meant for people who just need that extra boost so they can start loving their hair. She was not being disrespectful in any way. I just want to say thank you because this has really helped me feel like a strong and beautiful black woman.

    I cut my hair this past november, among many reasons, one of them is to get used to my hair at every stage, and not feel the need to style it, put it in a puff, etc. My fro was big before, and i felt it was too big to just wear out, and i felt like i would look like a boy as well. Now that my hair is growing back from almost being bald, i'm forced to "look like a boy" now lol. I want to grow my hair out/back without much manipulation, and wear it like you wear yours.

Oh and I had a short Afro before so I completely understand but even though I was teased and told I looked like a boy I didn't care . They even said I looked like side show bob and called me bald headed when I first big chopped . I only wore lip balm , perfume , and sometimes I wore earrings . I didn't care . Now my hair is longer and people want to ask me for tips now . I have 4a hair .

    Great video! I love the tips & I am a make up junkie! Loved the tips on how to channel our inner feminine side even with things that society sees as more masculine. Doing the brows & taking care of your skin is a quick easy way to give our faces a little more life!

    I'm 49 but I've been told I look 32. Seriously! I'm working up to the big chop. I'm sooooo scared. I haven't had a short fro since the age of 11. I was told then, I look like a boy. The difference is there's a lot of product today to make our hair more manageable and im a grown women. Im scared i will look like a guy. Love you channel. :)

    Love love love this..I rock my hair like yours a lot! including to my corporate, yes corporate work-place..and my hair texture is kinky and medium/high-density..loves it!! oh and I don't wear earrings,, no foundation (though my eye-brows are always done and have lip gloss) and have never been confused for a boy (though you look very natural still)

    is having type 4 hair inherently masculine or something....or are you just talking about the length

    • @Chazzzisawesome
      @Chazzzisawesome  Před 7 lety +3

      I am talking about length. Steps 1-5 are washing your face, taking the eye boogies out, moisturizing your face, shaping your undefined fro, and putting some clothes on. I posted the make up portion because I like makeup. However I LITERALLY say, you only need to do steps 1-5, which is just basic hygiene. I have a whole video dedicated to loving the texture of your hair titled, "Why you should love your type 4 hair" czcams.com/video/abWr4IrUaNI/video.html

    Thanks for this. I feel like I have confidence but I'm always concerned with being read as butch or masculine or male if I have short hair and am not all girled up. I may not do a full face with lashes but I can shape my hair, moisturize, pop on some earrings, and do my lipgloss. I am sure this video will help others too.

    I don't know how having natural would make a women look feminine. It has nothing to do with the hair. It has to do with the person's facial features. I have natural hair and I've never been mistaken as a male. Without earrings or makeup.

    I am not and have never been the make up type. However, there are moments (far few and between, lol), when I will adorn my lips with some gloss. But, I noticed, over time that a white film (yuk), will form toward the inside of my mouth. Not cute! What would you suggest I do for that not to happen? Now, when I am not wearing gloss, I most definitely keep my lips looking pretty by keeping them moisturized.

    • @swiitdoll
      @swiitdoll Před 7 lety

      Cara J exfoliate your lips like once a week, drink more water and try to eat something after brushing before applying the gloss. You can change the lipgloss brand too.
