  • How much money did I pay for my 2022 Ford F250 Super Duty Tremor and to build it out to become an expedition vehicle? A while ago I posted a video about how much my Supertramp Flagship LT camper cost - including all the smaller and bigger upgrades. In today's video I will talk about how much my truck cost with all the upgrades included.
This 2022 Ford F250 Super Duty Tremor features a Mits Alloy flatbed, a Sherpa Thunder roof rack, Morimoto 4Banger lights, a Carli suspension, airbags, sway bar, and and and.

Very nice rig. I have a Four Wheel Camper on my 22 Tremor. Would love the Bowen Custom flatbed for extra storage. Traveling with a family of 4 right now it’s not always fun juggling the bags and stuff inside from camper to truck. It’s just for 2 weeks so managable. Maybe when I hit the lottery I can get into the flatbed portion. 😊. Amazing build. Love the truck.

Bowen seems to be the gold standard as it allows to maintain the lowest possible height. There are a few custom flatbed builders in the US and you may be able to find one that is not as expensive. Once I had the flatbed - it is a game changer in my opinion.

If you are trying to leave California, it only costs a few hundred dollars to fly out, or less to drive away in a normal car. You don't need such a monstrous truck to live outside of California. The rest of the country is not that screwed up.

lol - ha, leaving California is not the goal. Long-term travel all across the US and Canada and beyond. For that I do not need to keep my tax residency in Cali.

Hi, im curious why do u need airbags when the custom leaf springs can already handle the load? Do they still sag?

When the truck is fully loaded with gear, fuel, water, and so on I felt it would be beneficial to have that additional support. I probably over-engineered this rig, but I'd rather have a little bit too much than not enough. The truck and the leaf springs are in line with everything, but a truck can still squat while being well within the GVWR limits. So, I just wanted to have this covered and as mentioned, it may be a bit over-engineered.

    Were the running boards OEM?

Yes, OEM. On the 2022 model they were part of the Lariat Ultimate package.
