Chassis Unlimited Octane Series Rear Bumper on a Ford F250 Tremor

- I put a Chassis Unlimited Octane Series rear bumper on my 2022 Ford F250 Tremor as I needed the functionality of the two swing arms that this bumper has. The Octane Series bumper also looks very good and can compliment a truck quite a bit. I could end the review here and move on, but there is also a lot to be said about the bumper that could make you think differently.
So, in this video I will go into detail what I like about the Chassis Unlimited Octane Series rear bumper with the two swing arms and I will talk about what I do not like and I shed some light on the nightmare that developed when trying to install this Chassis Unlimited bumper to my Ford F250 Tremor.

Yes an instruction manual would have been nice.
I really like my bumper, but HATE the latch system. I’ve had problems with it from the start. I’ve had the bumper for 8 months and this past weekend was the first time I had to put the truck thru mud. After getting to camp and opening the swing out I could not latch it back, even after cleaning and blowing it out with compressed air. Needs some kind of cover over the latch mechanism.
I will figure something different for it.

My order was 22 weeks before delivery. Same situation with zero customer service and false timelines just to get you off their backs. Had they just been honest I would have waited patiently and not be here writing reviews warning people of the shit communications and I’m honestly not happy with the product thus far. Future Buyer beware!

Well that’s a bummer it’s not fitting well and no instructions. What kind of company makes you spend thousands without so,e simple instructions. Also not impressed with the latches. Thanks for your review. Going to get something different.
I heard more about problems with the latches after I had sold mine. It's a shame - good looking bumper, and then such a disappointment.
