Hey Pretties! So when the silk press has lost its silk, it's time to wash it out. I'm using rice water as a pre shampoo protein treatment and for it's long list of hair benefits. 1 cup Rinsed Rice
1 cup Water
***Cover & Let sit overnight (up to 24 hrs) to initiate the fermentation process

-During fermentation a substance called 'Pitera' forms which is rich in vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and organic acids
-Fermented rice water is acidic, restores and balances the pH of your hair when you rinse hair with it
-Decreases hair fall (Shedding)
-The amino acids present in rice water, help in regeneration of hair and faster hair growth
-Rice water contains a carbohydrate called 'Inositol' thats helps strengthen hair elasticity and reduce friction

we have the same hair texture. i have been using rice water since may. my hair has gotten thicker for sure and i only wash my hair once a month. i wanted thicker hair and now i got it and its exhausting lol. so i can only deal with my hair once every 4 weeks. my hair is right above bra strap. cant wait til it gets ur length

I only use rice water on wash days. Are you talking about using it as a leave in? It is packed with protein so it is not something i would use daily.
