Great job on taking care of your hair. No matter how I cut mine, it still grows in a V shape because the hair closest to the nape, is the longest point.
Thank you! I've been trying 😩... And yea, I've noticed mine just naturally grows out in a V as well, which i really don't mind I like the shape and flow that it creates.

The last silk press I got didn't last an hour I love how yours looks. I don't think my hair will ever be this straight.
Yolie W if the right person do you silk press it will last at least 2 weeks minimum.

Jodiah for best result just go heartless as long as possible! And whatever low maintenance protective style works best for you... I’m a sewin/crochet girl .. I get best results when I use those.. so going back to what I know

This made me miss going to the salon. I haven’t been to one since I was relaxed 8 years ago. I would love to find a salon like this on the east side of the Metro Atlanta area. A place that actually cares for their customers and the integrity of their hair.

Beautiful, but watching you get hot comb, reminded me of when I used to get my hair straitened as a little girl, and sometimes it was a burning experience!... Ouch!😂

What steps did you take to grow your hair to that length?
Drinking a lot more water, vitamins & moisturizing my hair daily. Check the description box for the linked video describing everything I did for my hair during my #HairGrowthChallenge.

Thank you! And I'm not sure the specific product but she told me she was using a wax based edge control and not a water based one (which most of them are) so that my edges didn't revert.
It really was more than one pass in certain areas cause she used the hot comb.. still pretty tho 💕😊

How long does your silk press normally last you?
Love a good press baby!! Never permed or relaxed my hair and to this day, I got my stove pressing comb🤣#olschool
I think if when you do a revert to curly video I think you should use the bentonite clay that’s what I do and I never gotten heat damage and I get my hair silk pressed every two months

Since whatever hair products that was used during the flat ironing process can be completely cleansed. Most people think they have heat damage after straightening their hair when in most cases there is product weighing down their hair still
