- In this video we compare our two cheap, secondhand go karts in a series of tests including a drag race, top speed run, hill climbing, and mudding. To be honest, it's just another excuse to thrash them.

what happend to the pit bikes
With my go kart's torque converter it gets bound up like yours does sometimes too. But it only happens when the black plastic guard is on. It happens because it gets heat up to much and the guard retains that heat there longer and blocks wind to cool it down which causes it to get caught up. Just a thought on maybe a way to fix it.
You should whack a pair of supercharged 670's on those beasts!! XDD

I'd like to see you build a twin-engined kart, with one engine powering each rear wheel. I reckon there'd be some interesting engineering challenges, but nothing you can't cope with.

My family found a pretty nice go cart recently. It has a small jeep front end and it pretty similar to the red one in this video. It has 107cc engine, nice seats, 4 point harnesses, all four disc brakes with braided lines and all nice suspension. We bought it for only $400 but it has a couple problems
if the red one had better tires it would have completely won but I think it did pretty good anyway
please put the 670 v-twin with the torque converter on the offroad kart

We never ended up getting tools out there, plus the ground stays very wet out there.
+CarsandCameras to fix the wet area you could put in a French drain. Dig a hole a couple feet deep and fill it with gravel. I know that this is not your personal property so you may not do this but that should fix the problem.

Can someone help I have a go kart that looks like both of them combined it's a yerf dog with a predator 212cc on it. I got it for $190 but it had a tecumseh so i switched it. It has a 20 series torque converter on it but it eats up belts like nothing. It's aligned perfectly but it is missing the bronze brushing that goes on the drive clutch. The torque converter is assymetrical but I used symmetrical belts on it because I didn't know I bought them on ebay for 30 bucks and it came with 3. I found the exact belt it needs for 50 bucks at a local tractor repair shop but I don't want to waste 50 bucks on something that will last a day. Can someone help please.

Had the same problem with an old Yerf Dog years ago, unfortunately never found a solution and the karts long gone now. However a can of spray adhesive will get you back home (or a few more rounds around the dirt pit) in a bind if the belt starts slipping while your out.

+Jason Soto I did end up kinda fixing the problem because the belt i have right now its lasted pretty good except the torque coverter drive unit gets jammed sometimes and i eithed have to take it off and put it back together or give it a little kick with my foot and it pops back into place any idea what the problem could be

I find it funny that the channel is called cars and cameras but more than most of the content is go karts. Theres been a few car videos but I don't think I've ever seen a camera related video. Are you guys ever going to do a camera video?

i was usin regular grease on my mini monster truck go kart and the clutch kept sticking so i cleaned it off with carb cleaner and bought the liquid graphite and i havent had any problems since

Ike was the clear winner imo, the Murray might be the better of the two on paper but that little Chinese kart kept chugging through everything. Besides Ike couldn't stop giggling, that alone gets him the win. Btw that Murray NEEDS a 670 as well as and some quad wheels, tires and suspension. That chassis has a ton of potential. Besides a bigger engine, that's exactly what I did with my yerf dog years ago.
The red one need a yamaha raptor 250 engine! :D
You guys should consider putting something like a 160cc pitbike engine in the red one. They have like 15hp and 4 gears and it should bolt right in.

I'd love to see that! Original "Honda style" 3 wheeler, or the new school "Spyder style" 2 front, 1 rear wheel 3 wheeler. I think the Spyder style would be a really easy build thinking about it.

Hey a hi rev CDI BOX will do you great for the red one I've had two one was a 110cc and the other was a 200cc both had gears. I spent like 120 and bought a lot of parts they gave me great power bolt on and leave it alone.

I have a mini go-kart heel, a few months ago it worked after a few days of trying to boot it was only for a moment and it went out but for now it does not want to start, and the cordon is that stuck
pretty sure you can sand that shoulder that is a little rough in the drive pulley if you needed to but also i read couple years back that you use Graphite Lube which is in a spray can and can be bought at home depot and im sure elsewhere. you want to take the outer housing off and just spray inside it where it touches the weights
we had a blue buggy like the red one and we loved it they are a blast I taught my little cousin how to drive on one like the red one and they climb anything and a blast in the snow

Yes,ol pugly needs to be mad maxed out with push bumper reserve fuel tanks CB radio nitro as much power as you can put into that 3 speed without turning it into a a coffee grinder,will hate to lose that 3 speed 💥.keep up the good work ☠🐷
Ike whenever you go to gas the red go kart hard when it's warmed up try running it with choke it gives it a lot more power

I'm looking at getting a puggly 125 3 speed for my wife and kids. Did puggly have a rev limiter? Or a light to indicate when to shift? I don't want them blowing up the motor because they don't shift but fill they need the 3 gears. low to get up the hills high for going faster.
