Great stuff. May I ask what the stats are on the coil you’re using?
My thing with this boss is I felt I was barely doing any damage even with a +3 blade! I see you’re using electric attack, I’ll try that. So far I don’t get why they think every boss needs two phases anyway
A few things I've noticed now that I'm 25 hours or so into my first playthrough - Technique and Advance are important for damage output in this game. They encourage the player to use the Legion Arm and other Ailment Damage types which is Advance. Motivity is sorta meh imo but it can work. Im cool with the 2 phases, Im amongst the minority that likes phases in boss fights BUT these are like 2 Full Boss fights every time which is exhausting for the first playthrough. NG+ should be more of a breeze. We'll see.

F this boss I been stuck for days

@@Eleven10Citizen finally beat him this morning...I'm a souls veteran and didnt think I could beat this boss. Seemed impossible because his life is like 3 million plus. Use the summon+3 throwables as well as the special moves and he's a goner
I'm stuck there too 😭I'm almost out of star fragments... Don't have any throwables left, killed every other "small boss" in that area...but I'm stuck here. I think died 15 times already. I'm also a terribly bad gamer but wanted to play lies of p for the story so bad 😭
@@mikohaku Don't block his moves too often instead roll when he throws them...particularly roll to the left if possible but sometimes if you have to any direction will do. Next part is when he charges with the red position yourself so he doesnt take down pipes. When he shoots flames hide behind a pipe until he turns red and then move out the way. Use a star segment to summon and the special moves (triangle with R1 I believe) and he will die. Took me over 30 tries

I think I tried most things in the video and what you just wrote, also I tried dodging and blocking to figure out which works best for me but i just suck at both 😂 but at least I feel less bad knowing others struggle with that boss too 😮💨 thanks for the tips tho! I will just try further and eventually I'll get it 😂
I finally managed to get him, to be fair it wasn’t really skill based, so it makes more sense I guess
I upgraded my electric weapon (same one used here) from level 1 to level 3 and then bought like 21 gears to throw.
I then summoned the spectre thing and just kept dodging and hitting the boss with the heavy attack while the spectre dealt extra damage and distracted him. I did a LOT more noticeable damage with that thing at level 3.
I hid behind the pipe to dodge the fire, and then went in after my spectre died to get enough hits in to stagger him, after that I just kept throwing gears until he died lol

I have been stuck on this boss for 3 days for some reason the second half of the fight just destroys me the first half is a walk in the park at this point. I don’t even take any damage. I just don’t have enough stamina to get in close and back out and Dodge without getting locked up. I either spend all my stamina dodging or retreating
Take a look at your capacity management - weight - I found that the heavier you are (even if it says you're fine) your stamina recovery is low. Try to aim for Sub 40% on weight if you can. Only caveat is your defense will suffer a bit.

The only thing im not liking about this game is that the damage itens from the merchant goes out of stock
If i had a way to buy shock grenades i would have beaten him

Yeah consumables are a hit and miss literally haha I use them sparingly due to stock constraints but for the most part I go in Brute Force - no summons & no items.
Can't seem to get a good run. He gets to half health and spam shots before I can get to him. If I get close he literally just spams fury over and over basically can't even get to him without getting hit
The trick is to definitely get behind the flamethrower but I haven't got the timing down yet.
It'll do a backspin randomly when doing that but it's definitely the right strat.

just beat this punk today his moveset is easy but hard i cant explain it the trick is parrying dodging and learning how to parry the red attack the slam and u can run away from his charge move hide behind pipes for his fire aoe attack

That downards hammer smash is probably the most annoying part, get too greedy with your hits and it'll stun you for an annoying amount of time.
Yup - have to time your attacks - wait it out
the area of effect attack (fire) is broken. How can you dodge it?

@OxfordKing One question. Is the stagger meter like Sekiro where you have to keep applying pressure and perfect guards or can do a couple back off dodge and still get the stagger?

this boss fight is like 120% harder than the previous bosses because my framerate drops to a slideshow on xbox (the earlier bosses were fine)

@@oxfordking main issue i had was Pinocchio turning at a really low fps. if you turned by moving forward and turning the camera it looked perfectly fluid but when you use left stick (wasd) he turns super choppy
Phew, just beat this guy today. Thanks for the tips. I didnt wanna cheese him, so it took soo many tries (like, probably in the 40s), but i got him. No spectre or spamming throwables (not that theres anything wrong with using those, I just wanted to do it solo I guess). It a pretty fair and fun fight once you learn the moves

@@mikohaku Oh believe me I quit a couple times too. I guess by fair I mean that you CAN dodge or block all of his attacks. Its not always fun to get defeated 40 times but one you get a feel for how the fight flows it becomes very exciting and fun for me.
But yes, i still got absolutely splatted many times. Currently getting splatted by the nect boss XD
Im the same as you - no consumables, no summons - just good ol fashioned 1v1, chest to chest, toe to toe. I may die 100 times but the victory is oh so sweet. I see guides on youtube saying "Use Consumables" Nah Im good.

@@oxfordking For me using consumables is so stressful, because you have only one chance to do it right and if not you are fucked, because the merchant doesn't sell any more and farming them is painful. And I always become so nervous because of this, that I always end up fucking it and wasting the consumables, so it is never a viable option for me, sadly. Unless they are easier to get and way more common to obtain.
I did him with my 5-7try i think. Solo without the summoning. He wasnt that hard, i stuck at Puppetking its ridiculous but because i try him solo no summoning

Fucking boring game. 1,2 hits. For my weapon I can do 1 hit per window. The fight is so fucking boring I lost interest..
