    On Today's Episode:
Prioritizing how to optimize your health gets more confusing by the day. With every study, every breakthrough, and every podcast, knowing which diet, exercise and sleep strategy and approach is best feels impossible.
Naveen Jain is the founder of Viome and many other businesses. He’s known for disrupting industries he has no knowledge or experience with. His approach to health and how people can increase their healthspan lies in the oral cavity, and everything that happens throughout the digestive track.
This conversation brings together all the reasons you’ll want to start paying more attention to not just what you want to eat, but what and how you’re feeding your gut microbiome. How food breaks down and metabolizes matters to how the bacteria in your body respond which are responsible for disease and health.
Eat to feed the bacteria in your microbiome
Food from one country can have an entirely different effect than food from another
Your stool and saliva predicts everything about your health.
    QUOTES:
“There’s no such thing as universal healthy food.”
“The nature of this ecosystem, it is so complex that when we change one thing we believe that's the only change we’re changing
“We’re getting closer and closer, but we are nowhere near understanding the human body’s complexities.”
“Antibiotics are only designed to attack bacteria and not viruses, [...] the more we take antibiotics it’s like throwing a nuclear bomb inside. It kills everything, good, bad, ugly…”
“I really believe that within a decade we’ll be able to solve the problem of cancer from the human body.”

As a child I believed there were tiny people inside me moving food through my body and making everything work.... I guess I wasn't too far off!
I've definitely changed my eating and have moved back to eating as a child.
In rural America, we grew up with and mainly ate whole foods in season in the 60-70s. Canning and preserving home grown foods was expected and everyone was involved in one form or another.
The novelty of having ready to eat convenience foods and year round availability was amazing and a treat 50 years ago. Now it's evolved into something literally designed to shorten our lives and keep us dependent on synthetic "medicines" provided by big pharma to stabilize and maintain our processed food addictions.
No thankyou, going without and going back to normal seasonal intake of natural whole foods will increase my life span and improve my health

It's personal for everyone according to your microbiome. But still:
    Bad foods:
    -sugar
    -processed food (wheat)
-red meat is good for some ppl and bad for others according to the microbiome
-everything we do to kill the bacteria as antibiotics and disinfectants shoud be used as minimally as possible bcz it makes bacteria evolve and learn how to bypass the killers.
    Good:
-eat slowly, stop eating 3 hours before going to sleep
-sleep 8h, take a nap in the afternoon (he says 5h is enough but this is false)
    -workout for 30min daily
-probiotics, vitamines, digestive ensymes, antioxidants etc.
If you are 95 years old and your gut microbes are the same as in 45 years old people, then your biological age is very young. Stress turns on fight or flight response and shuts down the digestive system and the immune system - cancer. He says lots of other things - so if you are curious just watch the whole video.

hey Tom here's how transcription works. Two strands of DNA are unzipped by rna polymerase. This polymerase fellow used ONE of those DNA strands called the template to create ONE strande of RNA :) This RNA now looks like the other DNA strand which is called the coding DNA except that it has a U instead. These letters are the nucleotide three of which form a codeon.

I liked Uncle's work. It is about collecting data and recognizing the patterns, it is very simple, yet no one had done this till now.,nothing sentient is done by ai. It is just telling an ai that this is the pattern look for it or find a pattern in a bunch of data so definite correlations can be made, I don't know why it scares people probably because they don't understand what ai is, it is just a machine which is trained to find certain things in a bunch of data, people teach it it is just mechanization of a set of logic, logic and emotions are different.

Normally I find these discussions an interesting listen. I found that the guest in this episode was interrupted way to much. By interrupting him mid-explanation so often it made the ideas extremely disjointed. It would have been far better to hold off questions until the end of the complex ideas, before requesting clarifications. Just overall a harder listen than most interviews on this channel.

Today I took another tablet and again my adrenals are going ape shit with heart palpitations. The heart palpitations were not bad immediately upon taking the tablet but over a week my adrenals built up to terrible level. I just tried taking a B1 Vitamin as suggested in the comments. I primarily am Keto with intermittent fasting. I hope the B1 works.

  • @KENNETHFRANCISRODRIGUES

DNA is transcribed into RNA which is subsequently translated into proteins. If you have one copy of a gene in your DNA, the number of RNA transcripts can be one or more and this is regulated by the process of methylation or other regulatory mechanisms. In the above case, the metabolites regulate the expression of RNA which is related to the copy number of the proteins.

What a quack. Gluten (ie the protein in UN-refined) wheat is one of the biggest causes of auto immune and gut issues. The more processed carbohydrates may cause bigger insulin spikes (if eaten without protein and veg to slow down digestion) but there's less of the problematic proteins people dont tolerate so well. Hence white rice being basically pure starch is almost universally well tolerated even by coeliacs.

Well yes, too much of anything is not the best, but anyone on here understands this fundamental truth.
I read somewhere that our brains only ran ( can only eat ) sugar.this tells me, though I directly that our bodies need only sugars of certain types.
Given that also, our bodies set about to break down anything consumed into its simplest form ( sugar ), then it is sugar we need. Yet the problem is the body is overburdened by so many corrupting compounds that leave the body in a constant state of imbalances that we desire everything and focus our minds on infinite ideas, we cannot see the light of “SIMPLE”
With this I close my discourse young man.

      @maloutungol9380 Před rokem +2

@@jessem9006 our livers cannot metabolize the sugar from fruits, which is fructose. So this causes toxicity, and which is more and more a big cause of disease and death in the US, called non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (nafld). The liver is even able to better metabolize glucose (the sugar which comes from carbs), but even that should be a very small amount and still must be avoided. (czcams.com/video/EpBPa_sC8lY/video.html
See Dr. Peter Attia in Lewis Howe's interview at 1 hour 33 minutes) So, yes, unfortunately, sweet fruit is actually worse. If we have it, it should not be blendered, so the benefit of their fibers can be had. Sugar in carbohydrates or sweet fruit (or whether in its metabolised glucose or fructose forms) feeds cancer, so it must be avoided.
