There are also two anime Arcana Force monsters that were never released: Strength and the Hanged Man. So instead of revamping anything, they can just add monsters worth playing.
They'll still need support just to help them do anything yha we have field spell and a trap that get them their better effect but you not gonna have those all the time while nothing can be searched and the draw card they have either are coin tossed themselves and the orher give your opponent a card any card mind you if you don't have the field spell out and don't forget we have a hand trap monster to destroy field spell now

yes but why don't people understand she doesn't need support from a 5 card support pack ._. think of the starting place for that deck as if it's yubel. in other words it has 1-3ish cards to work with. ancient fairy dragon maybe ancient forest. a few stray brick cards and that's it. she's gonna be like yubel getting 7-10 card support right off the bat. with 5 cards down the road from another pack AFTER she gets her debut 7-10 card support
Yeah, this set has been very disappointing for me. Trickstars definitely didn't need 7 new cards. Maybe 3 MAX. Tachyon was like the most left-field. I was really hoping for Cyber Angel, Star Seraph, and an Ancient Fairy archetype, or Arcana Force. Oh well
The thing is, you can make the argument that Performage can be in the Light pack stronger if you look at this from two angles 1. Meklord was in the Dark pack, and nearly half their cards (excluding the ones they got from the set) were dark. So even if Dennis’s monsters originally bridged a ton of attributes, his main one being Light would be also that is focused on. 2. They could do the exact same thing they did with Sherry Leblanc. Releasing anime support while simultaneously releasing card pack support to four the deck a major leg up. The only problem is timing, as Sherry’s supports both dropped almost simultaneously, while in this hypothetical Dennis scenario, you would have to release the card pack stuff first, and then the anime support second. Sherry had the advantage of being the first archetype revealed, so there wasn’t exactly a small a time limit, in comparison to now The biggest argument against Dennis is actually the idea that Konami, with the exception of the Dark pack for how weird it was, likes to pull from different corners of Yugioh history. Considering we got Zexal & Vrains, that all but disqualifies ARC-V and maybe 5Ds, leaving Standard & GX, the later of which barely has representation in the Duelist Packs, as our last contendors
I'm still hoping Valkyries get the final slot. They have some nice cards but are super fragile to handtraps and stuff. I hope for a more clear direction for the deck and a real boss monster. The best one we have now is Erda.
Side note, I hope Konami keeps the duelist pack trend going by restarting with Dark after this set, and I also with they put them out and the same rate they were putting out freaking deck build packs.
Another potential wild dark horse pick would be a revamp of Clear World. Technically its monsters as presented are DARK but they could just as easily be LIGHT since technically they are supposed to have no attribute. Fujiwara (the guy who used Clear World) had his ace monster prior to being possessed be Honest, which would make for a very easy attempt to fill out a "Fuctional Clear World" deck in a LIGHT pack? It's very unlikely though but considering we have precedence of entire decks being made more or less wholecloth for duelist packs (Ishizu) it's probably not impossible and would be NEAT. I don't think that marketability exactly determines the cover character of the set, it usually is a part of it but also the aspect of showing attention to all the anime series plays a part but it also is reflective of just shuffling between different anime series. For the Duelist Packs, we have Yami Marik, followed by Yugo, Nasch, Rua, Soulburner, and now we're on Mizael. For a pattern it is a bit odd that it's not a GX character on the cover which I think actually means it probably is NOT cards from Manjoume or Asuka - since they are easily more popular than he is and would make for a more balanced marketing - so if it's a GX character it more likely is someone relatively obscure. Worms played by Possessed Ushio were not Duel Terminal Worms, they were a second, Insect-type worm deck focused on milling (based largely on Needle Worm as a basis). Shield Worm, Warm Worm, and Dark Diviner were his monsters. Similar, Sherry technically didn't play Noble Knights at all, she has a couple cards that needed to be retroactively made into a Noble Knight when the OCG imported the cards they used the same overarching name but the TCG originally translated them "Sacred Knight" while specifically naming the Noble Knights differently, so either a miscommunication or a prank by the OCG team made a lot of cards that are not Noble Knights technically into Noble Knights.
Well we know that the performage rank 5 trapeze magician upgrade is on the cover for animation chronicles this year so a few new performage monsters that are wild and unseen before would probably work.

@@user-et6vh3wv8s i think it needs some OG support anyway. especially if they print Force witch. i can see them printing a ringmaster link 2 monster that looks similar to dennis. i can't see them printing all of the Anime cards (beside the Rank 5 trapeze) without merging or offering better effs to support the niche strategy of performage which i feel could lean more into being a Xyz/pendulum burn-ish kinda deck. we don't really have a theme that heavily utilises pends with Xyzs as it's gimmick. it makes me wonder if they will make shadow maker better at all.
I would love to see lunalights regardless it having dark attribute monsters but I know in the wind duelist pack that safe of Fleur is printed as a dark along with a synchron as well but maybe idk
V/Quinton uses a Space deck which focuses on the Dyson Sphere. He's a relevant character enough to be in it. But given the third theme needs a lot of reprints and V has barely any cards in the first place, it's probably not him.
I would love to see more support for Arcana Force. I like Sartorius as a character and the idea of a deck themed around tarot cards is interesting. That and if I recall the archetype is still missing cards for a few of the major arcana. I would like to see Links for them since I think that would be interesting but just support for them in general since I think there are also some anime only cards for them that haven't been printed yet either into the game.

Problem with Arcana Force is that the only way to make them viable is to make their coinflip effects consistent, which in turn makes The World so broken it'd probably have to get banned
I promise you if Hot Red Dragon Archfiend King Calamity, which is now consistently summonable on either player's turn, is still at 3 in the TCG, The World won't be a problem. There's countless ways to prevent that effect from going off.
We know for fact that the last duelist will be from GX (it has been leaked, but even without the leak it was pretty obvious since it should have been a GX character on the cover). So I would say either Arcana Force or Cyber Dragon, but Cyber Dragon seems too good for not being on the cover.
Ancient fairy dragon is the only signer dragon with no evolution (barring lifestream since power tool wasn’t a dragon) I’m sure it’ll be like black rose and have a (for the most part) worse upgrade with a beneficial effect if you used AFD, but I’m more interested in what main deck support Luna would get. She dueled like, 1 time in the anime, so they really have nothing but space and opportunity with ancient fairy support

You gotta also put in mind that if its someone already in the same series, i.e Mizar is from Zexal and Aoi is Vrains, it cant be from these two series so its either DM, GX, 5Ds or Arc V

Always the last character to reveal the support in the duelist pack is the one with the cover, that's how it has always been, coincidentally Mizael was revealed in the second wave, something that had not happened before, this supports the rumor of ocg's revenge on tcg for having removed the character of Nash from the water duelist pack cover in tcg by mako making it now two zexal duelist packs in ocg and two dm duelist packs in tcg balanced but it's sad because this box had to have a GX character in the cover, it's because I think that the last character to be revealed is the one that should have been his original cover. If it turns out to be from GX, then this theory was very true. It is also likely that Rage of the Abyss is a box for Shark, so TCG cannot remove his cover since it is a main box so they see as ocg if they plan to change the change to Nash x mako without any sense and therefore putting Mizael on the cover, a Zexal character
not a big fan of decks/cards that can straight up skip your turn. Valkyries arent the best and idk how consistent it is, but they still have the option to not let you play

I'm pretty sure its gonna be Performage. They just added Dennis to Duel Links and they're importing his cards from the anime in the next Anime Chronicles pack. Not to mention they've been pushing LIGHT spellcasters with the new White Woods archetype. I was desperately hoping my favorite archetype, Cyber Angel, would get support but i don't think there's any chance of that. This pack has been incredibly disappointing for me.
One archtype or series that could have support are fairy tales. Yes they're not an anime deck. But Konami could pull a 180 and give us non anime support
I could see the last archetype being Ancient Fairy Dragon, especially because of all the field spell free agent cards we had in LEDE. I surmise that if we do get AFD support, it will have a non-AFD synchro boss. Then, in the next few core sets we will see the AFD upgrade along with several new cards. The cards in this set would just make it a playable archetype for casual play - an equivalent power level to flame swordsman.
Since GX gets 0 love I expect supper for an unwanted deck 😂😂😂. Probably cyber dragon support that is redundant or useless. But they could make arcana force good if they really wanted to
White knight and armatos legio are light archetypes would be cool to see those, White knight would probably need reworks to be relevant since that was back in gx era but would be cool
For all the people that keep saying Arcana Force, do you want a consistent turn skip deck? The World Turbo is the closest thing the deck has to a coherent strategy and I just can't see that being good for the game. At all. The rest of the deck is hot garbage (The Devil is solid but it's a much more recent card) and even new support wouldn't do much to make most of the pre-existing monsters actually useful. I think people really forget how mediocre the majority of Arcana Force effects are.
Without malevolence or sort of ... But not is almost useless post this video now? I mean, tomorrow we have the VJump Kuriboh promo, and we get the last duelist pack character just the following day or the next one...

The wind duelist pack had two characters from arc v, but one could probably argue that it worked since one was an xyz focused archetype

Tachyon Dragon alone is one of the most popular monsters in the anime; it even has its own figure. It makes sense for Mizar to be on the cover.

Always the last character to reveal the support in the duelist pack is the one with the cover, that's how it has always been, coincidentally Mizael was revealed in the second wave, something that had not happened before, this supports the rumor of ocg's revenge on tcg for having removed the character of Nash from the water duelist pack cover in tcg by mako making it now two zexal duelist packs in ocg and two dm duelist packs in tcg balanced but it's sad because this box had to have a GX character in the cover, it's because I think that the last character to be revealed is the one that should have been his original cover. If it turns out to be from GX, then this theory was very true. It is also likely that Rage of the Abyss is a box for Shark, so TCG cannot remove his cover since it is a main box so they see as ocg if they plan to change the change to Nash x mako without any sense and therefore putting Mizael on the cover, a Zexal character

not a big fan of decks/cards that can straight up skip your turn. Valkyries arent the best and idk how consistent it is, but they still have the option to not let you play

Watch Konami TCG replace Mizael with Kaiba even if there are zero Kaiba cards for the cover just like they did for Nasch because TCG Konami is afraid of selling anything other than DM.
I'm pretty sure its gonna be Performage. They just added Dennis to Duel Links and they're importing his cards from the anime in the next Anime Chronicles pack. Not to mention they've been pushing LIGHT spellcasters with the new White Woods archetype. I was desperately hoping my favorite archetype, Cyber Angel, would get support but i don't think there's any chance of that. This pack has been incredibly disappointing for me.
One archtype or series that could have support are fairy tales. Yes they're not an anime deck. But Konami could pull a 180 and give us non anime support

Nope. The one main deck monster they have is dark and the extra deck has multiple attributes. And like D/D/D, they're all fiend monsters.

I could see the last archetype being Ancient Fairy Dragon, especially because of all the field spell free agent cards we had in LEDE. I surmise that if we do get AFD support, it will have a non-AFD synchro boss. Then, in the next few core sets we will see the AFD upgrade along with several new cards.
The cards in this set would just make it a playable archetype for casual play - an equivalent power level to flame swordsman.

For all the people that keep saying Arcana Force, do you want a consistent turn skip deck? The World Turbo is the closest thing the deck has to a coherent strategy and I just can't see that being good for the game. At all. The rest of the deck is hot garbage (The Devil is solid but it's a much more recent card) and even new support wouldn't do much to make most of the pre-existing monsters actually useful. I think people really forget how mediocre the majority of Arcana Force effects are.
Without malevolence or sort of ... But not is almost useless post this video now? I mean, tomorrow we have the VJump Kuriboh promo, and we get the last duelist pack character just the following day or the next one...
