He literally is, I don’t know why people think Joker is predictable, throughout the entire Dark Knight film he was literally chaotically unpredictable & was in control of everything happening, the guy was literally toying with a whole city for days nonstop & no one could do anything abt it. He had plans on plans on plans yet claimed to be a guy without a plan. His beliefs contradict themselves as he believes in something but that something is nothing. Ledger’s Joker has depth to him, that’s what makes him a much better overall character.
Definitely Joker has the more sinister laugh he still gives me chills in both Batman Beyond Return Of The Joker during the teaser trailer and Bruce Wayne's speech.
-The Joker's Laugh = Evil Laugh incarnation with Passion (The Clown Prince of Crime) -The Green Goblin's Laugh = Evil Laugh with satisfaction (The Goblin)
Joker laugh sounds like he's enjoying himself while the world around him suffers Green Goblin's laugh feels more sadistic like it's one cruel sick game
NGL, I came mostly for the thumbnail (looks awesome, btw), but of course I stayed for Mark Hamill and Steve Blum's laughs. Can't decide which one has the more sinister laugh, but Joker's is definitely the most iconic in my opinion...
I never knew there was such a competitor to the Joker in the Green Goblin. It might be more sinister, but iconic goes to Joker, for me. Green Goblin is really good though 👍
The goblin’s laugh could use just a little work, like he seems to repeat the same laugh sequence a little bit, but besides that it is pretty awesome, scary, and crazy in a good way.
They’re both very fitting, Joker’s laugh is exactly how I’d imagine a Clown would laugh at their own Joke while the Green Goblin’s laugh sounds exactly like the laugh of a Goblin off of Goblin Slayer (just a bit deeper)…
Goblin's sounds kinda forced, but I also think the raspiness is ironically what carries it. Joker's sounds more natural, like he genuinely enjoying himself.
Both laughs are terrifying. And both villains are psychopaths (they know what they are doing is wrong but they do not care about the consequences of their actions). Another villain that has a terrifying evil laugh similar to these villains is Chucky.
I don’t know about everyone else, but for me, Joker will always be one of if not THE most terrifying and dangerous villains in all of fiction, even moreso than Green Goblin (although he definitely comes pretty close ngl). …. Wwwwwell… I mean… yyyyeah, let’s be real, GG could probably curb-stomp Joker in a fight, so he would certainly have the LAST laugh between the two. With that said, I would not hesitate to spend an hour with Green Goblin than even five minutes with Joker if given the choice. Why? Because even though both characters are ridiculously unhinged, sadistic and intelligent, Green Goblin still has some part of Norman Osborne in him somewhere, while Joker’s former identity is just gone forever. If you have the right knowledge and know the right things to say, there is a chance you may be able to reason with Norman and at convince him not to kill hun. Joker, on the other hand, trying to reason him is like trying to reason with a grizzly bear that is running towards you. There is nothing you could possibly do to stop Joker from not only killing you, but doing so in the most sadistic and ironic way. Green Goblin might be crazy and evil, but even with the mask and all of his gadgets, he is still at his core a semi-rational, calculated mind with a bit of decent humanity buried underneath it. Joker doesn’t have any supernatural abilities or hyper-advanced tech, and yet his sanity is so non-existent and his desire to cause chaos is so insatiable that not even the world’s biggest experts on human psychology or criminology are able to fully comprehend his behavior, let alone make him question his actions for even a second. Long story short, Green Goblin may be a horrifying villain with an equally sinister laugh to go with it, but Joker is still scarier and his laugh haunts me much more because 1) He’s crazier than you can ever possibly imagine, 2) He’s caused countless destruction and chaos despite being 100% only human, and 3) I’m personally much more scared of a serial killer hellbent on making myself laugh to death for the fun of it than a monster who can blow up entire cities and might kill me just because I’m in the way. Long story even shorter: Green Goblin laughs because he loves being evil and proving himself right about everything. Joker laughs because he loves watching you suffer and he thinks EVERYTHING is a joke, especially when it’s “dude, not funny, wtf!!!”
Joker: *Laughs like a psychotic mad scientist doing surgery on you while you’re asleep. Goblin: *Laughs like Satan when you’re arriving in heaven but then just start falling to Hell.

It’s hard to believe neither Mark Hamill or Steve Blum shredded their voices doing the voices for both characters. True acting professionals.
I prefer green goblin as a supervillian. But mark hamil’s joker laughing is slightly superior

Goblin=laugh of a 70 year old smoker at a comedy show
Joker: laughs like a psycho.

Green Goblin is easily scarier because it's literally just the Mark Hamill Joker laugh at a much higher pitch
