Why are all the PNY gpus cheaper than the other board partners but never sell as much ? Please talk me into getting one since I was not happy with Asus performance and just returned a 4070 Super last month.

I saw on Amazon a lot of reviews say they have a terrible fan controller where it ramps up heavily and they can’t control it even through a fan curve on software on the 40 series. Not sure how true it is or if it’s just a select few that are a bad batch. I would go with them cuz they cheaper than msrp but those reviews concern me.
Hmmm i can find the 4080 and Super around the same price currently. Should i go ahead and pick one up or wait for 50 series?? Decisions...

I was torn as well. Went with 4070ti super proart from 3070 EVGA and I'm glad I didn't wait. I didn't expect Luke Ross mods and UEVR to clear up so well. It really depends on your current gpu.

I currently have a 4070 Ti XLR8 Epic -X RGB and XLR8 gaming 32GB DDR 4- I undervolted the 40470Ti to .900 ( the stock is .950 I think ) with the same clock speed as stock with a flat line after that so it doesn't boost beyond that ( with MSI afterburner ) runs at 80 watts less, lower temps, very efficient card

The last thing I want to cheap out on is the gpu. I went with an asus proart and there was little price difference between Tuff, msi, pny, and the rest to make cheaping out actually cheap.
If you get a brand new 4080 super, do you also need to replace your PSU? My PSU doesn't have a slot in it for a 12v connection, It is about 3 years old, so I want to know do I need a new PSU if I want to get the new 4080 supper?
If it is good quality with enough watt and "3" pcie cables usually u can use an adapter.

Anyone try nflashk on their PNY 4090 yet? I want a higher power limit for better overclocking. PNY's overclocked model is a joke.
PNY is my first RTX card for 3070. Runs cool and quiet.
Hopefully with the PNY Kingpin cards they choose to use dual 12vhwpwr connectors, not a single.
I own two PNY RTX4090s. I prefer the PNY RTX4090 Verto non-XLR8 cards because they are exactly 3 slot cards and fit in more Cases than the longer & thicker PNY XLR8 RTX4090. If you want RGB it won't fit in some of the popular itx cases.

Hey bro, did you tried any stress test on ur gpu yet? I got one too, but mine seems to be hot! Im getting 79°C on GPU/76°C on memory and 97.8°C on the hotspot! everything on stock

Aesthetically not my favorite but ive always oogled their products. I do have a 2tb xlr8 m.2 because it came with the ✨️heatsink✨️😅

How's the fan issue?
I love mine also , don't know of a fan issue as mine runs dead silent under full load @67c
I own a PNY RTX4080 super. Temperatures and performance are ok in games, even power consumption is acceptable. In games, the temperatures reach a maximum of 68 C. But when I turn on the benchmark, the consumption goes up to 320 W, and then the temperatures jump over 76 C and the hotspot 98 C, which is the worst result in the competition. Never buy it again.

IIrc this is their first self-made set of coolers for a gaming Nvidia card instead of them rebranding other companies cards, while they've been in the productivity sphere with Quadros a lot longer.
My GeForce 8800 GT was a PNY. Went that way after abandoning ATI after repeated card failures.
I’ve always liked them. Also used to buy their RAM and still buy their thumb drives.
It seems their pricing has been less than competitive over the last 10 years or so or else I’d have bought something big from them. I know they make good stuff though.
Yeah I think people believe the brand is bad as well as their cards. Which isn’t true.

@le0ssa no coil wine as of yet...but it's also basically stock...no undervolt or overclocking and strictly used for raytraced games. 7900xtx used for first person shooters.
same, play all in 2k 144 hz.
cool and 65-70 watt lover than a hot 3080ti and 7900xtx with 350 watt and more ❤
