Fun fact about the little prebattle maneuvering that Lelouche and Schniezle did with their forces: That was actually very common in premodern military battles. Commanders would flag commands to their army to shift into different formations as a way of showing off how disciplined and well trained their soldiers were. There are even records of some battles ending without ever fighting because one commander would recognize that his men were outclassed by the enemy from these displays.
The thing about the prerecorded messages is how Lelouch basically went from trying to guess what Mao, who had a relatively simple mindset, to what Schneizel was gonna say (because just like you guys said, Lelouch was just being vague) is crazy, because he most likely has to either drive the conversation himself in a way it looks natural or he just has to be reaaaally vague so Schneizel doesn't realize that Lelouch is just doing some trolling
And damn, Diethard with the dramatic end has got to be the funniest thing ever, he could've said so many things but he just went "Damn Zero, at least use your geass on me once" like why?????
The best part about that Schniezel conversation is that if you actually analyze every single dialogue, you find some interesting inconsistencies. Like how there's a moment after Schniezel speaks where Lelouch takes a second or two longer to respond because he can't really predict how long Schniezel will talk for. Or how he has a few responses that *sort of* fits but is vague enough that it works with a few select things Schniezel might say.
Is even better if you only listen to Lelouch you could hear that is only a monologue he prepared 😮
Just like in the Mao conversation, he interrupted him many times out of nowhere too, and knew what to say to trick him into getting emotional too. Dude had an obvious fixation on C.C. and Lelouch knew exactly what to say there, but Schneizel is obviously harder to figure out on the go.
Side note but I just realized he literally recorded that after escaping Gino, what the heck.
And it's not that difficult either. Lelouch knows Schneizel's basic nature and he's also pushed him to the brink of defeat. There aren't very many ways he was going to react in that instance.

honestly i can see why people hate nina but i just cant hate her, she (among alot of other britannians) was INDOCTRINATED from birth by a racist, autocratic EMPIRE and yes you could say "oh but there are alot of britanians who didnt do messed up stuff like she did" and that is true but indoctrination sticks to some people more then other, introverted people who feel frightened and overlooked are especially prone to fall victim to it, and i mean zero/lelouch DID kill euphemia and despite of that nina has shown more spine and character growth then any other character in the series, she recognized that she has done a terrible evil but she was willing to make up for it even if it means working not WITH but FOR her mortal enemy, i have nothing but respect for the current nina

Schneizel my favourite antagonist throughout the series and so good of a moment Lelouch was having with CC just to get interrupted lol but man I'm not ready for this to end but happy to see yalls next series to watch
A. One more episode, I can't wait to see what you (and people who haven't seen it) think.
B. Nina is an interesting character to me. She starts out meek and it's her fanaticism of Euphemia that causes her to end up on the path she takes. It seems clear that even though she has her prejudices she isn't totally sure what to do and her at her worst seems to come after Euphie dies which would have galvanized her feelings as "if the princess wants us to exterminate 11's, then they must be less than us"; Schnizel used that in order to get what he wanted. It's the Fleya that wakes her up to realize what she has done is wrong. She see's what she created and how much destruction it can cause and it finally clicks what she has become. She is not an innocent character, but by the end she has decided to take that burden and in doing so is acting on what she believes will lead to the world Euphie wanted. You don't have to like her, but at this point I feel she is at least worth accepting/
C. I probably talked out of my ass about all that, so you can ignore if you wanna. Its 15 past midnight right now. Am Tired

Fun description from the year this aired was CG:R2 was a flaming, spinning, rolling garbage truck that somehow pulls off a perfect parallel parking job for an ending, compared to the other fan favorite Mai Hime which did a perfect gymnast routine all season and for the ending broke 14 bones on the landing and blamed the judges.
Code geass is my favourite anime. I ambso glad i watched CG before Aot Yearssssss ago.

Certainly would be nice to see you react to the resurrection movie and certainly the akito the exile series is good as well as maybe the new Rose of the recapture series.
Though its of note the resurrection movie is based off some quick summery movies which have some minor differences the most noticeable is that Shirley didn't get killed because Mao never existed.

You two should react to Gundam 00 next. It's another Bandai series that was around at the same time as Code Geass and I loved both.
Maybe my fellow lore nerds can help me out here, is Nunally the only person in the whole Code Geass franchise that has ever broken a Geass of her own will? I cant remember all the spin offs.
In Akito movies Leloush almost breaks his father’s and that’s it. I think that it’s because of their vary strong will. Also Euphemia on her deathbed out of love for Suzaku and pure incompatibility of the order given with her nature.

If you guys noticed that Lelouch geassed Schneizel to follow Zero and not him. Its to ensure that Schneizel will follow the concept of Zero no matter who wears the mask.
I really don't understand hating Nina more than Ohgi haha.
In my opinion, dubbed messed up the surprise of Nunnally opening her eyes with that very loud sound, while in japanese it's practically silent which lead into the speculation of "did she just...?" or even not noticing and be surprised by it at the end of the episode...
I've probably seen 6-7 people react to this series and these 2 are the only ones to notice it

I don’t think Nana can self destruct. Blowing Damocles with the Fleia was Schneizel’s plan. He wouldn’t rely on Nana to complete this plan, I don’t think he would even inform her. For him Nana is a scapegoat and a bait and nothing more.
