Stay tuned for our next reaction episodes to the the iconic “Cowboy Bepop” 😱 coming soon! 👏
*You need to watch episode 24 & 25 together you cannot watch episode 25 separately from 24. so watch 23 solo or do 23-24-25 altogether guys*
Lelouch's speech about Nunally's smile in episode 21 is probably one of my favorite moments in the series, the VA did such a fantastic job. Shout out Johnny Yong Bosch.
JYB the goat!
"I WILL NOT LET YOU CALL THAT A LIE!... Over my dead body!"
That line gives me chills everytime...
JYB is a legend of voice acting.
Johnny Yong Bosch performance when Lelouch is confronting his parents is outstanding. The tone, the emotion in his voice and the overall delivery is truly amazing and JYB is one of the goats!
Bismark is at the same state as Mao, he can't turn it off. Imagine talking to someone and they answer your questions before you ask them. Sealing it allows him to function in high society.
So practically mao could have done the same? Just close his eyes and he will not hear everyone else’s thoughts?
@@saptomo Mao heard, but Bismarck sees. In general, I think this is in order not to shine a Geass, which is visible in front of the eyes, which is confirmed by the fact that Lelouch saw Emperor's.
@@saptomo not all Geass powers require visual confirmation, Rolo's power is a good example as it's envelopes everyone around him. Mao's functioned the same way, as he heard thoughts of everyone around him regardless of his line of sight.
@@saptomo sadly not since Mao's Geass was not sight based. I guess Lelouch needing the contacts is a better comparison.
So, basically how Nunnaly got hurt is that V2 staged another shooting to cover up Marianne's murder in which they put Nunnaly and shot her, that's why she is paralysed.
All Hail Lelouch!!!
Movies are set in an alternate universe.
The universe that Shali is alive.
It's time for me to implement the -Human Instramentality Project- Ragnarok Connection and combine all humans into one consciousness by destroying everyone's -A.T. Field- "masks" that they wear!
Damn... just sounds like Shin Kamen Rider to me.
🤣😂🤣😂
Shin kamen rider
So so hyped for the last episode!!! It's been an amazing ride watching with you guys!
Charles, Marianne, and their Human Instrumentality Project.
“Stop Time” perhaps not time as in the actual passage of moment to moment. Maybe more like “The Times” “human progress”. If everyone merges all their memories.. everyone has the same motivations. There maybe a short time change but very soon, all progress will stop and an age of good enough stagnation will begin. A time when nothing ever changes, as if time has stopped for humanity
Lelouch and Suzaku went crazy with these matching fits cause they are so cute
Damn I'm going to miss y'alls reactions to this.
Same 😭😭
@volumeoneplus As someone who's seen at least 15 different reaction channels watch this, your analysis is top tier. Thank yall for being awesome and invested fans.
So a couple things to realize from EP 21. Lelouch’s geass evolved in response to him finally accepting who he is. (He says directly now I know who I truly am right before it develops in his other eye.) if you delve into the mythos of the word geass it is essentially a thing that can be considered a curse or a boon depending on how the user wields it. (Also some cool imagery of lelouch spreading his arms like Christ on the cross standing before god).
When lelouch took over the throne he used his geass on ALL of the upper nobility and remaining royals besides nunally and schnizal. This is due to Charles consolidating power around the emperor as a system. Nobody can refuse the summons of the emperor and so ALL high level nobility was there when the command was given. This is VERY important to understand for later.
After the final episode I’m going to make a long comment explaining a few things that are only found in subtext. Gonna miss watching yall react to my favorite anime of all time.
The red text said
"Lasciate ogne speranza, voi ch'intrate"
Abandon All Hope Ye who Enter Here.
It was written on the gates of Hell in Dante's inferno
Akito the Exiled is excellent, and takes place between Seasons 1&2. It has super cool knightmares!
The first 3 movies are a retelling of the story with some smaller plot changes that I won't spoil, but they're no big deal.
The 4th one, LeLouche of the Resurrection, is a continuation of the story that's based off the movie continuity, and it's mostly fanservice (not the NSFW kind... mostly). I like it, since I love the series!
There's a comic, OZ of the Reflection, which takes place concurrently with Akito the Exiled, and then concurrently with season 2. I don't know where to read the last half :( .
There are other manga spinoffs (Nightmare of Nunnally, this one that takes place in ancient Japan, and one with power suits instead of knightmares and Suzaku as a protagonist.)... They're all, respectfully, mediocre.
There're are a few gatcha games with bits of added story- not worth it. There also seems to be a new anime on the way? Maybe continuing from the Resurrection with a new set of protagonists? I honestly don't trust how this studio treats this IP.
Please stop spoiling the end by saying the title of that movie.
Lelouch's speech in japanese hits harder for me that I can clearly feel his anger, madness, sorrow, tears. Dub is also good anyway
i love the visible disgust on josh's face whenever nina is on screen
Charles represent the past, schneizel represent the present and lulu represents the future.
to this day im convinced the main reason why they introduced the knights of the round as numbers is so they could make the "knight of ... zero" line
Basically Charles was Gendo Ikari. He’s doing his own Human Instrumentality Project but unlike Gendo who did this to reunite with Yui, while Charles did the Ragnarok Connection since he believed humanity was doomed ever since they started lying.
Also Lelouch stopped his father’s version of Instrumentality instead of accepting it, while Shinji accepted instrumentality but later rejected after his experience.
I liked that you guys noticed that V2 Charles Marianne situation is sort of similar to Rolo Lelouch Shirley situation
Lelouch standing up to his parents and that speech is amazing also one of the coolest things about Code Peak is the mechs/mech battles even though they're not really the focus at all but still so damn cool
They basically wanted to create the third impact, merge all consciousness into one. Lelouch pulled a Shinji and forcefully rejected it with Geass.
1:09 akito the exiled and the movies related to it center events between r1 and r2. It's mostly a toss up with the fandom but I recommend.
The newest code geass movies are in a different timeline. The 3 first movies are setting up the last movie, code geass resurrection. The last movie is a big thank you for fanbase and I highly recommending it
Why is everyone spoiling the end by saying the name of the movie?!
@@BB-hx4mj I'm just answering their question.
I love Akito the Exiled, but its like no one seems to care 😂😢
I want to like it, but holy shit the first episode was so bad, I cant even get myself to continue
yall have the best reactions onjah
You are getting closer and closer to one of the most badass speeches in anime history ... 😋
"Attention entire world
Hear my proclamation..."
The concept of Ragnarök is very similar to the Human Instrumentality Project of Neon Genesis Evangelion, both in the idea and the way it is carried out: a plan where a secret cabal of the worlds' elite and powerful work to unite all of humanity into a single entity with the purpose of evolving/saving it. The major difference is that Ragnarök united all beings, living or dead, while it's up to interpretation if the Human Instrumentality Project united only living humans or if it united all humans who ever lived. Another difference is that Ragnarök was ultimately stopped, while the Human Instrumentality Project was partially successful.
Ragnarök is also the name of what is essentially the apocalypse in Norse mythology. People would supposedly lose their senses and commit all kinds of atrocities. Many of the Gods would die as well. Odin is swallowed whole by Fenrir, Fenrir has his jaw destroyed and his heart stabbed by Víðarr, Jörmungandr (the world serpent of Midgard) and Thor meet in combat and kill each other, Freyr dies fighting Surtr, Týr and the hound Garmr kill each other, and Loki and Heimdallr kill each other. Surtr then sets the world on fire, and the Earth sinks below the sea, killing all but two people. Eventually, the Earth rises from the water, beautiful and lush, and is repopulated. This somewhat mirrors Charles' plan, killing the Gods and essentially destroying humanity to remake it into what he perceives as beautiful and right.
gosh guys y'all are great in this lmao
I believe the movies and spin offs retcon a bunch of stuff they're probably worth skipping imo.
It's an alternate universe, and it's worth a watch or atleast watch it for the purpose of getting used with the new timeline to avoid confusion, You just can't skip the 3 movies and straight dive to resurrection, also Roze of the recapture the newest series of Code Geass will be based on the movie timeline
Bismark's Geass is the only Geass I don't really like since it feels like a total outlier. Every Geass so far has always been about the brain and about manipulating the brain - either your own or that of others. As a reminder, even Rolo's "timestop" isn't actually a timestop, it just paralyzes the people inside his radius but time still keeps moving. So they established that while Geass is a special power it can only manipulate your own and the brains of others to some degrees depending on the power. However Bismark's Geass is some absolute bullshit - he can literally see the future as it will happen. That's just straight up future prediction and has nothing to do with "just" manipulating your or another brain - he straight up sees fate or some bullshit.
There would be a way to make Bismark's Geass still work if it would just "anticipate" the future based on his own brain anticipating his target's movements but the fact that he can use it on a Knightmare - and a new model whose specs he has no clue about - AND the fact that what he sees surprises himself kinda confirms that that is defnitely not how his Geass works - he actually just straight up sees the future.
This is my favorite anime of all time
also can we all just take a moment and ask ourselfs why lelouch (who's outfit is positively FIRE btw) has a private jet that looks like it came free with a god damn happymeal?
Not the casual mistborn reference.
I think the reason Lelouch didnt want to use his geass from the beginning to become the emperor is bcuz he didnt want to rob ppl of their free will for that choice. Maybe he wanted to be chosen based on his action but after what happened in C's world something changed and that was no longer necessary so he dropped his mask put all the cards on the table and just said fuck it, we ball.
All but the last movie are recaps but the last movie follows the changes that the recaps make.
They aren's necessarily recaps. They change very important things that happened in the anime. They're an alternate universe.
These episodes for me as I'm sure many others completely solidified Johnny Yong Bosch as without a doubt the very best Dubbed Anime Actor (I know he also does Live Action and Video Games) but specifically in Dubbed Anime there is none other that compares to him.
Will the next one be a 3 episode special? The Resurrection movie is great in my opinion, technically a different timeline. Without getting into how, you'll notice as the movie progresses but its some details that you could easily forget about by the end. 30 outta 10 highly recommen'
The movies are all an alternate timeline because they didn't want to disrespect this show's ending.
Love it’s
Basically the made everyone tell the truth for everything through the collective consciousness which was the planet. Tha sword was the collective thought of certain individual who wanted to rupture the collective consciousness to make everyone reveal themselves
Okay... Evangelion, it makes no sense. Gendo and Seele WANT humanity to merge into a single entity/hivemind, so why were they fighting the angels at all when they want them to win?
Peak anime
Yess watch the movies there good leluch of the resurrection
Watch leluch of the resurrection perfect way to end off after episode 25 if you want to watch the akito movies there time line is between season 1 and 2 and leluch is in the movies but not for to long
Please, change the comment, don’t spoil the end yet.
ALL HAIL LELOUCH!!!
Episode 21 is one of the reasons I prefer the Dub to the Sub for Code Geass.
If you find it great, I strongly recommend you to watch a movie one after finishing season2.
yeah suzaku was already geassed by him so this time he followed Lelouch willingly
39:15 yeah Lelouch you're so democratic 🤗
Guys theres a new code geass😂
I don't know if I should watch it😭
what they were trying to do is exactly what they said get rid of lies people wouldn't have the ability to lie at all basically taking away that choice
Highly recommend the Akito the exiled series (all have a dub) and the Re;Surection movie (dubbed with most of the original cast). You will need ti read what the recap movies changed just so one characters appearance makes sense lol. Also, Friday June 21 the dub of the new Code Geass sequel (set 7 years later) Rozé of the recapture starts on Hulu. Excited to start that.
Do they have code geass movies on Crunchyroll? What about the new series? (Hulu?)
Why is everyone spoiling the end by saying the name of the movie?!
The movie doesn't really relevant, but if you don't want it to end, then watch the Akito the exiled and Lelouch resurrection
You can't watch resurrection without watching the trilogy movie, because it is in an alternate timeline so that the audience can separate the canon, for example is shirley and Mao, watching resurrection without the movie would confuse the audience with Shirley being alive and Geass lore involvement, also Roze of the recapture is set with the movie timeline it has returning characters with Lelouch as now an immortal being 6 years after the zero requiem
@@loki5094 Honestly, you can absolutely watch the resurrection without watching the trilogy movie, I did. You can pretty much understand that it's basically the same story but without Shirley dying for some reason.
HEY!!!! SPOILERS!!!! WTF!!!!
Edit the fing movie title! They haven’t watched the end yet!
@@BB-hx4mj I mean, they've probably seen the name of the movie at least once since they know there are multiple movies. Also, at this point I'm not even sure they are reading their comments for now. Too much risk of an unfortunate spoiler. Also it's not REALLY a spoil, the resurrection could be of someone else!
@@BB-hx4mj but that is the title, how am i supposed to tell them?
as for why bismarck has his geass covered up:
firstly that looks like it would be hella annoying in every day life atleast the way it is animated, youre not only seeing quadruppel all day every day but its also time delayed
secondly, fighting with it probably gets boring, if you rely on a "gimmick" like that you become weaker over time, better to keep it as a trump card for when you REALLY need it
Second maybe
I only see one movie, it was awful, they just revive Shirley and another character whiteout explanation, like "nah, never happened"
To be honest, they did.
In the recap, they combined season 1 and 2 to 3 or 4? Episodes as movie. Added some detail and side characters. And if I remember right, Shaley didnt die in the recap. And the Revive is after the recap. So its that version of universe.
@@user-dn9vj3qs8q Good to know, still hate it.
If you're talking about the lelouch of the resurrection it follows the plot line of the movies which were pretty much the code geass series with some slight changes. Shirley doesn't die in the movie series

Delete this
The three Lelouch Movies are an AU, and I didn't really like the retcons they made to make that AU. Akito is really fun. As it takes place between R1 and R2.
i dont recommend watching anything Code Geass related other than these 2 seasons. the rest just doesn't compare.
First! Let’s go
the ending is the best in any show
