I was working at a hotel during this tour. Deep Purple stayed there and gave free tickets to everyone who worked there.
Rock music is explained like this: There's a lead guitar, an organ, a bass, a singer, a drummer... and there's DEEP PURPLE!!! … There is nothing more to say! ... 🎸🎹🥁🎤 Thank you
Good reaction loved it for DEEP PURPLE
Speeding ticket song.
For sure!
The bear tee shirt is so cool. Totally wish I knew how to get one. Great review of Deep Purple
It's a clothier out of Turkey, if I'm not mistaken.
Google "Bad Bear" 😉
Your channel is like the only one where I watch every single reaction. Keep it up
Deep Purple are just a great rock band& this live version of these hunks of gorgeous guys doing their stuff , just magic ❤️🥰
Off stage the boys had a few personal problems BUT onstage all the issues fell away, until they got off stage again, then,,,, oh well that's life ..
Unforgetable song !
As well as "Child in time"!
Thks guys
I love this live version of Highway Star from Deep Purple (1984), it's such a great song and it's brilliant seeing the original band members together again. I thought the whole band was fantastic and I loved watching Ritchie Blackmore playing the guitar solo, he is so fast! Good to see him smiling and having fun with Ian Gillan! Was reading on Google, that Blackmore first quit Deep Purple in 1975 and returned in 1984 to reform the band's classic Mark II lineup alongside Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Jon Lord and Ian Paice for the Perfect Strangers (1984) album, he left the band for good in 1993. It's interesting hearing what you're saying about this song, I have a top three of DP songs, 'Child in Time', 'Highway Star' and 'Smoke on the Water'. I love your early reactions, guys, I especially love your reaction to the studio version of 'Highway Star! Since I subscribed to your channel in January 2021, I can really see how much experience you've gained in the last two years or so. It's been an amazing journey for you and of course it's not over yet! Thanks so much for doing this request for me, guys, I know it's taken a while, but never mind, it's worth the wait and I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Take care now and thanks again. ❤👍
They were past their prime in this recording but they still kick all the ass! You can’t have a Mount Rushmore of hard rock bands without deep purple, period. They were not only pioneers but ridiculously good musicians.
YOU MUST FIND THE MOODY BLUES LIVE, "NIGHTS IN WHITE SATIN" IT IS TREMENDOUS🎤🎸🎶🎻🎵
React to Sometimes i feel like screaming. Best song from them in my opinion.
Totally great band. Love their Made in Japan album. Great reaction bros! Rock on!!👍🏻✌🏻🖖🏻👍🏻
Amazing reaction! So cool to see this live video.🔥 Jon Lord and Ritchie Blackmore together are fire. Agree completely about the energy of DP. Thanks so much guys for sharing your thoughts about the progression of your channel - very special!!🥰
I agree, Jon Lord and Ritchie Blackmore ARE Deep Purple. These two feed on each other.
Ritchie Blackmore insane boy
Thank you guys for sharing all of this wonderful music and a part of yourselves with all of us💗 You have grown so much on this channel. I think you both speak fine english and have lovely accents. Most importantly, continue to stay true to yourselves and as genuine as you are - the rest will follow🦋
Sadly, I never had the chance to see Deep Purple live.
Luckily, I did get to see Richie Blackmore shredding his ax live at a Rainbow show.
I want Patrick's tee-shirt! LOL
I LOVE your guys' earlier reactions as well as current ones, including this one.
As someone who's tried and failed miserably in my lifetime to learn several languages (damn verbs!) I admire the efforts of anyone who attempts any language in addition to their native tongue.
And here you Bros are, fluent speakers of two of the world's toughest!
I also love that, whether it's 5k followers or over 50k, you remain humble, grateful, and most of all sincere, taking none of it for granted.
Good Vibes from the Upper Left, USA!
I saw the Purple II in Long Beach this tour. Ian Gillian my favorite lead singer. Shoot, the man was Jesus Christ Superstar!! For real.
Love Deep Purple, such talent.💜 Love that your appreciation and passion for this music comes across as real and heartfelt. Great reaction as always. 👍
Saw them live...Richie Blackmore great guitarist🔥🔥
Mark2 created their own genre with the monumental In Rock album. It was a genre of which only they ever played. It was a miracle that they ended up together in the first place. They became the greatest group of rock musicians of all time. They didn't realize what they were doing because it happened so fast & they were always touring without strong management to keep them together. The reunion was great but what might have been.
AMO DEEP PURPLE ENERGÍA ,FUERZA ,VELOCIDAD ,Y HARMONIA MUSICAL MONSTRUOS SAGRADOS DEL ROCK!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🎸🎸🎸
"Knocking on your back door" or "Battle rages on" from Come hell or high water tour please guys. Ten years later, still amazing. My favorite tour and album.
The 12 min "Anya" with that EPIC Ritchie solo.
@@bookhouseboy280 oh yes, i love it too
You're watching a top 3 guitarist from that generation. Ritchie Blackmore. Top 3 keys Jon Lord rip. Top 3 Gillian Pace Glover top 10. Enjoy the world of DEEP PURPLE
Ian Gillan still with the legendary voice even after hammering it hard with Black Sabbath the year before
Thanks for posting this video, I never saw it before and it impresses me to believe that this 1984 Mark II Deep Purple is Mark II at their concert finest. Not taking away the original Mark II , but being that this is the first reunion year after Mark III and IV , it's impressive. I am a diehard Deep Purple fan and seeing them this tight and energetic live is really great. All really fine musicians doing very original and unique musical compositions.
You gotta do Fireball, great tune by Purple.
Grandiose 🎸🎸🎶🎶 🎤🎤👏👏👏
Loved your reaction! Loved your conversation! I was just listening to Deep Purple in my car today. Although I was listening to a rather unknown album, The Book of Taliesyn. It was before Ian Gillan. The lead singer was Rod Evans. In fact it was recorded only 3 months after Shades of Deep Purple. But it's an amazing album, simply amazing. Classic Jon Lord, Blackmore and Ian Paice on drums. Nicky Simper was on bass. It was considered psychedelic, progressive rock. It's very complex with a couple scatterings of classical arranged by Jon Lord. I highly recommend it!! Thanks again, you guys are appreciated!!
Never saw this version-good job
Always look forward to y'all's reactions. Actually wish y'all made more posts. Thnx George & Patrick .. it's been an awesome ride on this rock n roll highway. Much love to Georgia from Georgia 😉❣️☮️ Also wondering when ur gonna do another movie reaction GEORGE🤷🏼♀️ Been a month man ..
Must see as it was in 70’s video “deep purple I’ve in New York 1973! Hang onto your seat!
Lord -best!
Nice reaction, this album was in everyone's collection. You all haven't done a Yes reaction for a while how about Release Release it's a rock piece. 🙏🍁
Highway Star on Made In Japan Live is the best version. Amazing live album, still packs a punch today.....If you want your minds blown, play from the same album "Strange Kind Of Woman" ...Gillan/Blackmore ... vocals vs guitar !!!!! Stunning ! ..... and when the music ends ... Gillan has the best scream on record ! [ incidentally - Child In Time ? on this album ...OMG !!!! ]
This...seriously: czcams.com/video/G54KUqOsf34/video.html 1:28:29 Child in Time

Enorme enorme 🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸🎸👍👍👍
Yes, the fans themselves recognize Highway Star as Deep Purple's best song. Perfect Strangers was released in October 1984, at the beginning of the year Blackmore was in Rainbow, Gillan was in Black Sabbath, Lord was in Whitesnake, and Pace played with Gary Moore. The tour lasted from November 27, 1984 to August 24, 1985.
Paice was in Whitesnake too
Glover was in Rainbow also
@@milosdunjic8718 You're right about Glover, and Paice left Whitesnake in 1982.
Lisen the band "Los Jaivas" song "Mira niñita" is very amazing ❤
Uriah Heep song July Morning Live
Awesome Iive band
Perfect strangers was 1984.
Guys..so I have a song for you guys that will lift your soul and energy..please check out Boston's Feelin Satisfied!!
That's power Rock for you 🎸 although I prefer the studio version for precision..
I would love to see your reaction to some of my favorites. How do I send suggestions to you?
Had tickets too see this tour in Christchurch New Zealand, they cancelled.
Unfortunately, In the 80s Purple didn't have the same energy they had in the 70s. This is a good live performance, but it doesn't compare at alll with their live performances from earlier.
Exactly, amazing in early 70’s live! Have loved them since the first time I heard them. I went out and bought the album! I was just 13;)
Some big ego energy - they THREW it into the music. I’m in a vortex.
Wrong version made in Japan 1972 best version
How much is revised? Sometimes everything seems and sounded too smooth.
As a teenager saw the German TV Beat Club 1972, an official video: czcams.com/video/WTVut3RAEVQ/video.html
Have fun with all kind of good music👍✌
Hey Bros please react to the Beatles song Oh Darlin Paul's best vocal performance real banger
J ai vu un classement des meilleurs guitaro sans Ritchie Blackmore le mec a rien compris Blackmore et en haut de l affiche les yeux fermer et de loin a part Satriani les autres v était que dalle
We missed you guys....Where were iou?😂it was the end of the original band....The 1972 version is fucking better....😂👍Peace from France
