Man…. The brother calling him “buddy” and “sir”, even apologizing for interrupting while trying to seem friendly to get answers about what he did to his sister must have felt so sickening to have to do. Recording the convo was so smart
Heartbreaking. Absolutely heartbreaking to hear the brother plea to hear what happened to his sister. Just gross. RIP beautiful girl
I love how Lea's brother confronted him immediately after the confession and beat that weirdo's ass. I wonder if the boyfriend Jesse joined him in the fun? When Max said "you think I'm gonna just let u leave and drive away... you killed my f*cking sister!!" I was like GOOO MAX! BEAT THAT CREEP UP, he deserves it!
That's a real big brother. Looking after her. Doing whatever it takes to see it through. Rest peacefully lea x
THIS COMMENT says so much. That is a true man of the military. Disciplined and determined, grace and honor, torment and terror. They do what needs to be done. I really feel for her brother. And mike’s comment “I wouldn’t drink anything he gave me” rattled me. I’m a safety girl. when in college and out with friends I was always the one to pull “security”. Be able to identify the creepers and get girls out of situations. I’ve done it all my life. I have “creeper radar”. At a party, a guy taking an obviously drunk girl somewhere secluded, you’d find me 🤦🏻♀️ right there, pulling her from his grasp redirecting her to her friends. I loved to go out and party, but I just didn’t play games with safety. Whatever happened to the Buddy System?
@@CatLadyofUtahi’d love for a girl friend like you! thank you for doing what you do
The brother pleading for a confession in the park was heartbreaking.
Yeah..I got chills when that freak said he put her in a dumpster,I could feel the bro's heart sink and his voice tremble. Tho,it sounds like since the cops were watching they gave him time to whoop his ass.
Yea apparently the cops let him beat him because he had time to call 911 after that lmao. Good job on the police for that.
Had I been a member of her family:
I would have gotten the details of the location of her body by questioning the little prick in the woods and removing bits of him until he drew a good map.
By the time one of his eyes and part of his privates were removed, he would have provided exact details of the location of her body.
And then I would have left his lifeless body in the woods for the coyotes...
It was an act. He was calling him Sir and saying he wasn't gonna get mad.
And then beat him up after.
I loved the end of it "you think I'm going to let you walk away and turn yourself in? You killed my f****g sister" like did dude think "I'm going to turn myself in" was going to calm things down after telling someone his sister was put in a dumpster?
The brother is remarkable, he handled that so well and kept pushing at the right moments to break him down, building his confidence, convincing him of the things he needed to hear just to get him to confess. I can't imagine the strength that took, and I can completely understand why he got his punches in after. I hope they find her.
Well said, my friend.... I couldn’t agree more
ABSOLUTELY He was amazing! I’m so sorry for your loss of your sister RiP Megan 🙏
Also, props to Jesse, who seemed to really care about her. He was trying to get clean, and flew down from Maryland to help get the truth. I hope this didn't set back his sobriety, and that they're both healing.
Very true
That's some legendary perseverance and patience right there.
How Max can be so calm and reassuring-even apologized for interrupting Chris’ story-is an amazing testimony to a brother’s love for and loss of his baby sister. That Max leaped over the table to pummel Chris is sad satisfaction. Rest In Peace, Lea. Godspeed Max.
This, I wouldn't be able to stay so composed, what a strong young man.
Then the moment he got what he wanted he beat his ass🤣
His story is bullshit. More than likely he tried to pressure her to have sex with him and when she rejected him because he's an ugly sniveling little incel he grew enraged and killed her
He wanted the truth so that’s why he overcompensated by apologizing
Which was inauthentic obviously bc he also called him sir
I’m sorry sir keep going keep going
Lol but I would have done that too just to get the truth out!!
Amazing legendary perseverance and patience right there.
Max is the best brother a gal could ask for. He had her back, even after her death. My heart goes out to the whole family.

Can you imagine trying to get the murderer of your loved one to confess but in the process you have to call that monster "Buddy" and treat him like a friend?
The love he felt for his sister is the only thing that could give him that strength.
It really sucks the killer lied about where to find the body. I hope one day the brother's strength and patience is rewarded and his sister body is returned to her family.
Hes stronger than i am, I would not be able to keep myself from beating the shit out of him.
Also "yes, sir" when he was in the middle of the story. This brother clearly wanted the truth more than he wanted revenge or justice. Not saying he didn't want those too, but _damn_ is that some self control!
Police Kitty gloves on this bastard maybe he would have said something criminals are treated with kit gloves
I’d be ok with calling him buddy to make him confess but after that ……………the end
Apply that to our REAL USA President at this time in history.
"I was playing the part of a concerned friend" THAT'S how he was able to get Lea to come to his house! Just for that brief second when he spoke those words, his mask slipped and we saw the real side of nut job. Gave me chills the moment he said that.
Yes! I was like ohhhh there is the real him.
I thought the exact same thing. Like dude, you are telling on yourself so hard right now.
Hearing Max beg Chris to tell him, you can hear the pain in his voice. The calmness before the confession, then the rage. Being a younger brother I can only imagine the anger and the sorrow he’s experiencing. I’m going to call my sister and tell her I love her right now.
Let’s give it up for Max. Not just for beating the crap out of his sisters murderer. But for keeping his composure long enough (no I understand, keep going buddy, it’s okay, it’s okay) to get a confession out before going at him. 10/10 across the board 👏 👏 👏
Absolutely! Such self-restraint!
I still think beating him up was a bit much and unnecessary m
@@thedesensitizedsympathizer5307
I mean it’s completely understandable given the situation and how close he was to his sister. I’m actually kinda surprised he didn’t do more to him.
@@MrWizeazz Well it shouldn't be encouraged or endorsed. People need to seriously learn self control. Even in this circumstance
The cops watching all happened to be unable to intervene due to collective foots asleep syndrome probably. 😉
"He seems like he just walked out of a Limp Bizkit concert in 1997" 😂😂😂. Mike, you have done it again 👏👏👏👏
I love that the brother wasn't charged with assault. Imagine if Chris had tried pressing charges. The cops would've "lost" the paperwork and let him go laughing the whole time.
We've just had Lyn's Law passed in Australia, in honour of Lynnette Dawson, (Please cover this case one day, Mike; her killer has just been brought to justice). Lyn's Law is 'No Body, No Parole.' It's a great idea.
That’s a brilliant bargaining chip!
And what do you think of the law for people who are found guilty of crimes they didn’t commit? The law is not perfect. If you’re convicted of a crime that you did not commit, and therefore do not know where the body is, then you’re going to be punished twice.
He will be out in 15 - 20 yrs, but I think it should be life without Parole for all murders with or without a body
@@___DRIP___ That's terriable it does happen but its rare.
Canadian here: I fully agree with this. I truly think a lot of other countries should adopt this law, including Canada.
Max is a hero. The best brother ever. Rip Lea ❤
Max was far more restrained than I would have been...
The little psycho would have provided a map of her burial site and then died while screaming....
Well, if he knew all the trouble she getting into- dropping out of college, heroine, dating a "bad boy" too old for her....I bet he's wishing he had traveled to where she was- scooped her up- hugged her and intervened. Her life was off course. So sad.
I am so glad channels are doing Lea's case. And I know I will be called out here, but my oldest son and Lea were friends. Fremont county is tiny, and they were sandbox kids. She grew up in Cotopaxi with my kids and Cotopaxi is even smaller. She was a brilliant girl. Her mom is an amazing woman, and her brother so misses her, we all do. Thank you Mike.
❤
No reason for anyone to call you out here. The few rude ones that do say crap to people in comments of Mike's videos, well they're irrelevant & Mike doesn't give them a second of his time so we shouldn't either!! I always like reading from people who knew the victims or their families!
Why would you be called out? Every missing or murdered person knows someone. I believe you. I grew up with Beverly Carters kids in school and church. I think Mike has covered her story. Losing people leaves many people mourning when they leave behind so many people who were touched by them positively.
❤️
❤
Wow. His nonchalant way of saying he dropped her IN A DUMPSTER left me with my mouth open. Her poor brother. He did so good. What a hero. I’m sure she is looking down on him.
He probably lied about the dumpster thing because she would likely have been found as smaller items of hers were found. He probably injured her skull so badly he could not give her true location as her cause of death would not match his whitewashed confession.
The world needs more Max's out there. That picture of him with his sis when they were kids (3:00) is the most moving thing in this story and then how he traveled home to look for her, found the killer and forced a confession out of him. I pray my kids keep a strong bond with each other like that as they grow. Max, if you read this, so sorry for your loss, bro.
That was heart-wrenching hearing Max beg and plead with his sister's killer for her whereabouts. Only the love he had for her could've possibly given him the strength and patience to do that.
And then to hear that he beat the shit out if him made it all the better. Good for him! What a brother!!

My question is this: did the brother's emotion come from meeting the killer of his sister or from killing his sister?
@@frankboogaard88 well the brother didn'r kill his sister, she was there states away from Max when she disappeared, her phone's pings and Chris's statements plus Jesse having met her in Colorado all prove she was in Colorado (in Westminister) and Max was in Calif (the police would've verified that too). I can’t believe the military dumped Chris back into society without some kind of repercussions for trying to kidnap the young woman. It could have saved Lea’s life.

There’s never closure. That kind of pain and grief is always with you; it never gets better, time doesn’t heal all wounds. You learn to exist in the absolute hell that is your new reality at best.
There may be moments of joy, but you feel guilty about them. Maybe you get married, have children, but you’re hyper-aware that you can lose those people you love and there’s nothing you can do about it. Sometimes, your partner will scream and be openly resentful because they don’t understand that kind of suffering; they may even become jealous of the loved one you lost.
A lot of family members who’ve tragically lost a loved one end up self destructive and alone.

The thing about moving to a new place to "start fresh" is that you are still the same person with thr same problems . Wherever you go, there you are!
If he did in fact have help from a friend with a van in disposing of her body, then the words he spoke during that interview take on a whole new level of significance. Him saying he's loyal to his friend could be interpreted as a coded message that he wouldn't turn his friend in, so they shouldn't turn him in.

Just listening to the brother beg for the truth brought me to tears. Hearing that he put her in a dumpster was heartbreaking.
Hey you! Ecstatic for the weekend and thrilled to give this a gooo!
Your comment made me smile 😊 have a fantastic weekend started with a goo✌
@@vegasgirl7O2 You, too!
What a story what a horrible story I hope the poor family can find their beautiful daughter and put her to rest. I hope this family can find closure God bless them all 🙏🏻
It’s so sad they never got to find the body….a brothers love is amazing in this story. The calmness to talking to your lil sisters killer and knowing he did it
I feel so bad for her brother, to have to befriend that POS just so he could get answers to what happen to his sister. For him to apologize to that creep to get him to talk. I’m sure he knew he wasn’t going to get all the answers he desperately needed to get to have monster arrested and pay for his sister death. I hope and pray him and his family find her and get some kind of peace.
Best brother ever, I feel so bad for him
Let's not forget that the police helped create the whole situation. Way to go, p.c. Plod. 👎
I can’t even imagine losing my little sister. But then to have the composure to sit there and talk to the guy you know did something horrible to her. Max you are a champ and a great brother!
See I’m just twisted enough that I could play the game long enough to get a confession. After that I’d be going to prison. Proudly. After a Jigsaw like evening.
He really is. Years ago my little sister ex boyfriend hit her and I was so mad I was gonna kill him. Fortunately, I was talked down from acting irrationally. I have no clue how I would handle the situation in Max shoes
I know if I was in his shoes, I would have done the same thing. It's easy when you focus on the fact that all that matters is getting justice - not revenge, justice - for your sibling. Once you're mind is honed in on that... God help the killer
I'm so proud to hear that a perpetrator got their ass kicked for the evil they committed... and by a wonderful brother
Max did an amazing job sitting there calmly and managing to extract a confession from that vile pos.
It seems like Chris is the type of offender that wants / needs to exert control - because he's such a loser in the rest of his life. By not disclosing the location of Lea's body he is in effect keeping her for himself, maintaining his control of both Lea and her family, forever. He is a sick fck.
My heart goes out to all of Lea's family.
These monsters always try to blame the victim for why they killed them. “It was self defense!” Liar… they’re all liars… he killed her bc she didn’t want to sleep with him. Flipping evil monster. Her brother is amazing. Glad he was able to beat him up.
Well done to max for keeping that anger in check every time it started to bubble over, so they could get to the end of his confession and actually give it to him.
Way to go Max. What a great brother.
They shouldn't have offered a plea deal without getting the location of Lea's body. Also wish Max and Jesse did a little more damage to Chris before he turned himself in.
Hearing that boy beg for the confession is one of the saddest things I've ever heard.
Boy? He's a man! C'mon milk yo. Respect
Lolololol the brother is the person who is actually killed her lololololol

That suppose to be funny? You're sick.
His sister was a druggy.
@@TheeLeodraco Lolololol you're a dork troll lololollol.
Dearest Mike…Happy Anniversary 🎉🎉🎉 !!! I am a disabled female old enough to be your gramma…You brighten my days with your videos and your humour. Thanks for all the work you do to bring them to us. BTW please don’t change your outtro…Take care of yourself….’cause i love ya !
thank you for bringing awareness to this case Mike, this is one ive not heard of before and it needs awareness because she hasn't been found until this very day. super sad this one almost had me in tears! I even google searched it for more info. this one hits close to my heart because my little brother and only sibling was registered as a missing person June 2nd of 2019, so ive literally walked in the same shoes a Lea's brother Max. except my nightmare over the whereabouts of my little bro came to an end two years after he was reported missing. in fact his whereabouts were not known for 2 years almost to the day
he- well his bones were found in a thick stretch of woods on the north edge of the town just north of where we grew up. we'll never know exactly what happened but I still feel so fortunate just for the fact that we were able to bring him home and lay him to rest 💙. Rest In Peace little bro 💝 it's likely that he od'd probably accidentally but possibly his death couldve been intentional as well. at the very least I don't believe he died in those woods, it's likely that he od'd while in the company of some "friends" and was dumped there after the fact. but these are the types of questions we won't get the answers to unless pieces of the truth happen to come out the wash years down the road. even with everything I still feel like one of the lucky ones- how many out there have a loved one turned up missing? thousands in our country alone. and how many of those missing people are actually found? a very small percentage. at least now I have a slight idea about what actually happened but a slight idea's worth of answers is a heck of alot more answers than most families get! Rest In Peace Beautiful Lea Porter. Max and Renee im so sorry for your loss I hope and pray you will find some peacein regard to your loss and even that you'll find her soon!!
Everyone should be so blessed as to have such a brother.
Her brother was unbelievably calm through that.
Poor poor girl. And her poor family. Addiction is an iLLNESS. Please don't judge people that are on drugs.
It's one of the hardest struggles a human can go trough.
May poor Lee rest easy in paradise.
Its pretty easy to not do heroin
Ha! I was in a car accident, prescribed oxycontin, oxycodone and xanax! Years on that led to a heroin addiction for me. I'm clean now and currently detoxing from methadone, but it's so easy to get addicted when it's your Doctor handing out the drugs! 💯
@@charliefox9424 people resort to drugs for a wide range of reasons. Sometimes it cheaper than paying for the prescribed opiates if someone has chronic pain. I’m lucky to be somewhere which my meds are completely affordable. But I have suffered withdrawals when I had issues with my prescription and I fully understand why people resort to others means when they can’t get their usual meds
I hear ya barkin' big dog!
Thanks for covering this case?
That Arse will forever be haunted everytime he closes his eyes with the innocent face of his victim!
Max is an amazing dude. God Bless him and his family. No one deserves what happened to this family.
