⭐️Sorbet and nut butter
For the Sorbet I use 2 cups of each frozen fruit. Let them thaw for 5 min before you run them through the juicer.
For nut butter, I use 4 cups of roasted cashew nuts, not hot but fully cooled. I recommend running the nut butter twice for more creamy butter. Use only soft nuts like peanuts or cashews.

So is it better to buy the j2 or cj can they both make nut butter and sorbet?
He difference is that with J2, the Sorbet attachment is not included, so you will have to buy that separately. The C2 has all that included. But yes, both can make sorbet and nut butter from only peanuts and cashews, not hard nuts.
Can you use almonds to make the nut better like this?
I would not recommend only soft nut as they are creamier. Almonds will be dry and to hard.
I’ve made sorbet with the juice strainers. Confused as to why I need a different accessory?
I tried the juicer strainer, and the nice cream was coming both ways, and not everything came out. The juice attachment has holes while the sorbet attachment is solid steel, so it goes through smoothly to one end, and everything comes out.
Thank you, I think if the fruit isn’t really firm, it will come out both sides. That didn’t happen to me but I can see how nice it would be to have this accessory.
@lisarussom5935 they recommend by nama to thaw the frozen ingredients for about 5 min, I found that when I put it really frozen they can clog the juicer and it will stop so when I thaw for 5 min it goes through very smoothly.
Does the fruit has to be frozen for sorbet?
Yes, I let it thaw for 5 min before I ran it through
