Nicely formatted video. It was well presented. You had some extra points I appreciated such as minerals in stem versus phytonutrients in leaves. It was helpful to see you in your outdoor sink and hose. I’ve always wondered how you washed & chopped your celery w/o pulling it apart. It seems the dirt is always in the bottom where they cut off the roots.

I laughed over the way you dried your greens! I had an abundant bunch of carrot greens yesterday, and I do the same thing. Walked out my front door, shook the greens like a maniac, water flying everywhere!
What I discovered about NamaJ2: a) Takes longer to clean than I thought it would to clean, including a crevice ring at the bottom of the hopper (food get shoved and caught there). B) plastic! Plastic is what holds, chops, and crushes the food (no plastic is ever "safe").
I'm so glad I invested in this juicer! Today was my first day using it.I am extremely impressed!

I bought this juicer because of all the nice things everyone was saying. Didnt want to be left out😂
But now that I have compared it with my OMEGA NC800 i dont think i would buy the NAMA right now.
Its a nice machine.
NAMA: takes me longer to clean , so that time is not saved, you still have to cut things up, its very large and wont fit under cabinets, and you have to buy the Blank screen separately ( they should include it).
Omega: faster to clean, fits under any cabinet , handle on top makes it easier to move, just a mention , it doesn't need strength to feed it usually grabs things down pretty easy, comes with lots of accessories, including a blank and makes pasta. Its also cheaper to start with.
They are both good juicers
My complaint about OMEGA,
Their Customer Service has become almost non existent and they started making the plastic cheaper.
So for those reasons I'll probably keep the Omega and the Nama

I would like to see you do a review on the Hurom H400 and then maybe a comparison between the Hurom H400 and the Nama J2.
He has one with this one and the Huron 310… which I may get lol
I have added the h400 to Nama J2 video to my list to do. Not sure when I can get to it, that being said, the H400 uses the same technology as the H300 although the hopper was made smaller, and the parts more hidden. In my past tests, the screeenless design has not performed as well as the screen of the Nama j2. Furthermore the warranty on the h400 is 2 years on the parts and 10 years on the motor. The Nama J2 warranty is 15 years on the parts and 15 years on the motor, so you get 5 extra years on the motor and 13 extra years for the parts. To me, the hurom is meant to be replaced when they come out with a new model in 2 years, and the Nama is the machine you only need to buy once.

There are no vacuum juicers that I am aware of at this time. The only way to make vacuum juice is to use a vacuum blender as I show in my video czcams.com/video/MaZegwJKh8U/video.html However, after you make juice in the Nama J2, you can pull out the dissolved oxygen in the juice using my recommended pumps, and reduce the oxygen by ~25% that was put into the juice for longer storage. Hi John, quick question. I plan on only juicing grapes and I'm mostly interested in the most juice yield and maybe fastest to juice. I'm stuck between the Nama J2 and and the Dynapro Vaccum Blender. Which one would you recommend?
I would go with the dynapro, personally for only grapes. It will get a higher yield and extract MORE nutrition. However, it might be a bit slower, depending on how fast you squeeze when you use alexas bags. See czcams.com/video/VqRwk_dtjPA/video.html The Nama J2 is one of the best slow juicers for juicing fruits, but it still can be challenging juicing grapes that can work better or worse, depending on how soft the grapes are and if they have seeds.
How often should I clean the Nama j2 ???
Love your vids but I am having a recurring issue of untwisting the top large parts. I try with my whole body and it wont budge. the thing that has worked 2x is running hot water between the seam. but that isn't even working this time, twisting w my whole body and it still wont release. any thoughts?
I had that problem a couple of times turned out. I was trying to juice too much before I clean the juicer out. There was just too much pulp backing up inside.
Once you have mineral buildup, how do you get it out? I tried the citric acid and baking soda methods, but they were ineffective. The only thing that worked so far has been a loooong soak in the extra strength professional dawn, but even that was a multi-soak and scrub process.
Also, be careful with the hose. Make sure your hose is a certain material. Many hoses are made of toxic materials that get into the water after sitting in the sun all day...

For bad mineral stains, (Goal is to NOT get them in the first place, by scrubbing with soap and water after each use) Buy a product called PBW. This should only be used in the worst situations, as while it is "natural" it is a lot stronger than citric acid, need to do a soak overnight.
Hi. Could Nama J2 be considered non toxic given the produce is crushed by plastic parts and gets in contact with plastic? Also acidic juices of fruits and veggies may cause disintegration of chemicals within the plastic parts that would leak inti the juice - Is that possible?
The Nama J2 is advertised as BPA-FREE. I have not seen any studies relating to plastic and juicers. For me personally, I believe using a juicer constructed of high-grade materials, such as the Nama J2 (made in S. Korea) is safter than drink a bottle of water from the supermarket that has been sitting on the shelves for months since the contact time of the fruits and vegetables inside the juicer is minimal. After the juice comes out of the machine, it goes directly into my glass collection pitcher and stored in glass jars. I do not trust juicers from china that likely use inferior grade materials.

Is nama coming out with a new j2 2024?
No. Nama Has no dedicated full size juicer in the works. Their company goal is a bit different than other juicer companies that come out with a new model each year. They strive to make small and incremental improvements to the Nama J2 ON THE FLY so when you purchase the juicer, you will get the best performance and durability. Furthermore to expand the ability of the J2, I know they are working on accessories(s) that should be released in the future to make it better and stay competitive.
