Hi Siyabonga, this video touched home. Short story short, my parents were both married when i was conceived. however when the dowry or lobola was paid, my Grandfather (maternal side) was not present during the negotiations and my Grandmother being the elder there received the lobola. So everytime i consult i am told that Lobola was not paid successfully hence why i have life problems. Please clarify how can this be fixed?

Does damages have to be expensive? Does it really need to meet a certain threshold in terms of money or expenses ?
I would like to know if i have intensions to pay lobola to my pregnant girlfriend can i go ahead with it or do i need to pay inhlawulo first? my girlfriend hasnt told her family that she is pregnant as yet and The Lobola negotiations are comming up soon.

What if I've taken the father to court for not supporting the child and decide to neglect the child am I in the wrong for doing that? Cos now we not talking

As long as you're sure it's his baby denying or not doesn't change child's identity. In any event you must give your child your surname, can only change if he pays lobola, if not your surname remains your child's surname period

So ka sezulu when u pregnant u supposed to go to the boyfriend and present that u are pregnant,and in my case that was Neva done nor the letter wasn't send as we usually do in tshwana and now the child is 4 years and facing some issues and now we don't know what to do as the inhlaolo was Neva send,can u pls advice

What if that happened to me changed surname from a young age ,only realized now there was no marriage ,,,or inhlaulo to my mom's family,,, what do I do then,,
