I was as respectful and calm about the situation as I can be, I'm no danger & always watching football for fun bringing you all the BEST experiences.
I'm sorry this has happened, it's a shame the club didn't see it as a good opportunity but a bad one instead.
To the fans of De Graafschap - you were amazing with me & I've seen all the messages. Respect you all 🩵

I am dutch so I went to look up the home rules of de Graafschap. It indeed say’s you are not allowed to film unless you have gotten a written agreement beforehand from club, de Graafschap.
It also stats that any steward, security, police or worker for de Graafschap can remove, refuse/deny entrance without giving warnings. They also state that you ticket will be taken.
If you ever need help reading the rules of a club in the Netherlands let us know, we can definitely help you understand a club their rules and prevent you getting kicked out!

I don't think you're being completely fair to the Graafschap. Filming the game could get the club into a copyright legal issue with the Eredivisie, filming yourself and the people behind you is also a privacy issue. The most practical way to deal with that as a club is zero tolerance, the right to film until you get the first warning is not fair to claim, that's a bit cheeky.
The number of security guards is not a fair complaint either. It's probably their rule of engagement to outnumber you right away to avoid anyone getting confrontational. They couldn't know you are a nice guy, so if only one them adresses you it might escalate.
They could have warned you in advance, but you could have asked the club in advance too. They might have told you on what conditions you get permission, tell them what you wand to do, and allow them to tell you what footage they don't want and what kind of footage they don't care about. You broke their rules willfully, you didn't get treated roughly or something, photographing your passport seems a bit excessive but they probably have the same protocol for every incident, troublemaker or not.
I think you should cut them some slack, you can't expect them to consider all sides and nuances there at the spot. You need permission to film and you didn't get that, while you migth well have gotten it if you asked. Being a bit more understanding what position the club and the security is in might help next times.

First of all you are free to record yourself or other people casually, second of all wouldn't be Josh that gets the copyright issues if he records and posts big parts of the game? What does the club have to do with it? And why would Eredivise really complain for something like this? 😂

Are you actually allowed to film in stadiums? I know TV companies hate it, so I'd imagine they maybe clamping down on it.

I think that people visiting from other countries and showing our atmosphere is brilliant advertisement for the club.
But if you whip out your phone as a Feyenoord fan instead of contributing to the ambience (especially in the more fanatic sections), that is frowned up on.

Ah man that sucks. Feel bad for you and the security guards as well as they were clearly just going off instructions and doing their job. It’s a shame but as vloggers we have to expect this sort of treatment at games. Keep up the amazing work Josh!

I am so not surprised about this... I know a little bit more about this club than the average supporters..
In my time at this club, i was the only one that has got the guts the against it.
I mean with this, to go against orders that in my opinion are completely ridiculous. Sadly most of the the people like you see in this video do not dare to go against it, and think rational for themselves 😅...
I've been to so many clubs and with this club there is something wrong with the security instructions and the way it is being played out during a match day..
My best advice Josh, stay away from this club, city and never go back there again. I do the same 😊😊

Willem II - Ado is going to be a Thriller next week. Unfortunately the game has been sold out for over a week, maybe you can still get your hands on a ticket and visit the best atmosphere in Second tier and maybe in whole dutch Football.

Next time please go to NAC Breda if you want to see a match in second division🙏 It's one of the biggest clubs in 2nd division and a big stadium with a capacity of 19,000 seats! It's already for the 5th season in a row in 2nd division, but every match the stadium is completely sold out. The fans keep standing behind the team whether they lose or win and they are famous for drinking a lot of beer😂

Strange...Nearly happened to me in the nederlands at Feyernoord vs. Sittard . But in the end it was a misunderstanding for a few seconds, and then it was all good. Im german and watch Feyernoord Games, very entertaining. My experiences with our neighbours are very good. Love the culture.

The ultras of graafschap ( the BT03) don’t like it to get filmed. I’ve got friends that was in the ultras group and he said like 3 months ago a story that he maked a video just for himself on Snapchat. And a guy saw that and said to him if you don’t delete that video we will punish you or something. I think thats the reason the security escort you out but don’t get me wrong that’s not the best way to handle it. The normal fans are great men. There are so kind and loyal to the club.
What a shame on de graafschap, I live not that far away and I was planning on going for a while now. But I dont know if I want to go anymore

Hey! You have been to my home football club. I have visited that stadium quite a lot. Got free tickets for many matches when they were still in the top league. Have a weekness for the club and stadium, but I have always been a Feyenoord supporter.
In the Netherlands at every stadium it is officially not allowed to film, that's the house rules here inside stadiums. Doesn't mean they could not have warned you first instead of kicking you out immediately in an agressive manner

BTW ,It's forbidden to take a picture of your ID, even by the police , the police can make a scan to check your id. The security was nice but wrong .

If u wanna film in the Netherlands get a press pass. Many clubs are welcome to give u one as u can see from the Eagles example.
U know there are rules and then u complain for the club to enforce these rules. People don't wanna be in your documentary and just wanna watch the game without having a camera in their face.
I love your vids Josh, but it's really simple: Get in touch with the club or don't complain when u get kicked out. U got to respect other peoples privacy. Hope u get more proffesional about this.
I understand this comment and if I'm honest, I was nothing but respectful about the situation & understand the rules - as I stated, if I was warned then that's fine and the fact they knew I was coming and never got in contact was very annoying.
Absolutely right about respect and privacy, I try to be as respectful as I can - film on a phone and be descrete about it.
