ur method is good.
but I advise that we never use stochbright on any bathroom chrome fittings as stochbright leaves marks on fittings. we use tooth brush or soft cloth or cotton.
am a housekeeping consultant that's why I have given my suggestion not to criticized any thing.

One small suggestion kindly apply the baking soda to the wet area where you have to clean and then pour vinegar or lemon. That way it would be easier to clean. You need not scrub it harder to get rid of the stains. Just a toothbrush and dish wash liquid would do if you let the reaction happen on the surface rather than in a bowl.
I tried this method today and it worked really well. In addition, I have added some pinch of salt to the lemon, baking soda mixture. Thanks

I have grohi german taps fitted in my house since 25 years and believe me i never had to clean them not a single rust spot they look like brand new even today. Best quality taps.
With that scrub, we should use a hard toothbrush to clean more effectively n with less effort, its just a suggestion

No need to do such hard work. Just so to any nearby supermarket and buy Cif clear. Apply it ans wait for 15 minutes and wash 👍👍😂😂
But I don't have vinegar what else can I use at its place

A big thanks to you for showing this method. Where I stay there is a huge problem of hard water causing damage to the shine of taps and green coloration. After trying out your suggested method my bathroom taps are shining like new.
