00:00 put vaseline in the sink and you will never want to use it like before.
00:13 what we will do is very simple first wash your sink and faucets as always.
00:38 and for today's trick we use Vaseline, add a teaspoon and spread it all over the sink and faucets
That toilet paper sounds like it would be uncomfortable for anything else! LOL
LOL! My thoughts exactly!
Ugh I thought so too! Had to turn the volume off
Thats why they have bidets.
😂what i said, that camping type, straight paper ouch
And your faucet is full of scratches with such a sponge.
Another nice way to keep water spots and stains from occurring. Anything that has an oily content will work. One of the oldest tricks is furniture polish I learned many years ago, which I have been using for about 30 years, and it works. You spray all over your faucets, sinks, and bathroom tiles. Wipe lightly the faucets, sinks, and tiles. It keeps hard water from building up on your tiles in your shower. Try that too. Thanks for another tip. ❤
Wow! This is wonderful thank you😂
Hi adams
Our Grannie's... Knew the best techniques!!

How long does it last?
Baby oil is great for stainless steel appliances, working at a laundry room in MS, learned to buff shine the machines😂
❤
Hi MS from TN!
Are you sure it’s toilet paper.? Sounds like sandpaper
I use orange oil. Smells wonderful. 😊
I use my maid.
I used to this trick with my shoes, back when I was at school and ran out of shoe polish. It gave a nice shine when buffed out.
I just could not believe this cleaning trick when I saw it so I had to try it and amazingly it works! It puts a very thin layer of oil on the taps. I used it in my kitchen and bathroom and it has stopped limescale and stains. I cleaned everything first. Thank you!
This is a great trick. I actually have another slightly weird similar tip which is if you have very light pet scratches in the paint of doors, use vaseline. If it has fully taken the paint off it won't work, but if it is regular interior paint on a door which has that slight sheen to it, buffing a tiny amount of vaseline into it will hide it from most angles. Buff it really well, you don't want it to be sticky or super shiny lol, but it will fill the tiny crevices just enough to smooth out the visible scratches.
Wow! Amazing tips for cleaning wash basin! I am surely going to try it out!
You know that Rain-X stuff they make for the windshield of your car? It also will make water bead and run off of your shower doors and any fixtures in the same way.
Much better than squeegeeing your shower doors or wiping down the faucet every time you use it.
Works on glas/metal surfaces in the kitchen also.
That's an actual trick that works.
That's the first thing I thought of, too. I've never used it, so I'm not sure how long it lasts, but I can't imagine the vaseline would last a week
Did you know barbsaol shaving cream has a anti fogging agent in it, so of you put it on your windshield, it will never fog again? Lol, works alot better than the rain X, but, rain x in the shower is good, but, one better, WD40- I use it for everything, its a GREAT cleaner and polisher for my tub, handles, tile, glass stove top to my stainless appliances ❤
They shine like brand new and water spots are a thing of the past w WD40.
Stinks though 😂
@@RebeccaGaines588 the only problem with that someone in the house would complain it smells like a workshop :)
@@RebeccaGaines588on the inside of the windshield??
Except that Rain-X contains dangerous ''forever'' chemicals (PFAS), which your body will absorb. Also, applying a thin layer of Vaseline will probably result in bacteria buildup.

@user-pl9bs4qh5kNo I haven't, but I might just give it a try. Thanks! 😊
sure, if you want to clog up your pipes. YOu know they tell you to never put oil and grease down your drains, thats what you are doing with this. If you have a septic system even worse.
@@doubletapdeb I understand what you're saying, but you're not exactly putting it down the sink. If you dry the faucet and sink off twice, there's nothing to worry about. 😊
It deserves a 10. Wanda will try this one too.
Cheers and thanks from Ireland, I give you 10/10, thank you xx

Hi from Potterville,Georgia USA! I LOVE this tip! When my husband and comes home from work his hands are so dirty & it seems to get everywhere & stains the sink horribly. This lil tip completely stops that from happening! So grateful! Thanks!

Just go to lowes, abd buy 10 or 20 sinks, and replace the entire sink every week, and never worry about cleaning the sink EVER again !!!!
I am from the United States. Great idea. Will do. Thank you

We live in a super hard water area. I'm going to try this because the hard water spots drive me nuts.
That’s wonderful. I’m going to do it right now! Ruby from San Antonio, TX HOWDY!!
Nice trick. I'll try it.
Greetings from Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
As soon as we were old enough, we were taught to super clean a bathroom. We were taught to get the same shine using only water and a dry rag. No vaseline.
The point of the video is to prevent water stains in future after you've cleaned it. After you have polished it using only water and a dry rag, you will inevitably have to turn on the tap again to wash your hands, and each time you do that, water splashes onto the sink and taps and leaves water marks. If you put something oily on the surface (such as Vaseline) the water will run right off and won't leave a mark. That's the point of the video.
@@anneonimous9306 Water is natural. Nothing wrong with using water and a rag. Vaseline is not a natural product - it's a petro-chemical product. Lemon oil or orange oil is natural. If you want to prevent tap handles getting dirty, then use gloves or an orange or lemon hand cleaner like Solvol and wash your hands outside in your garden. Vaseline is toxic.
Thank you for sharing

Thanks !From Bulgaria😊

Germany over here. Will definitely try this. Water here is awful! Thank you!
From South Africa, Jo'burg! Thanksnforthe good advise!
Just use lemon pledge. I spray it on a paper towel and wipe the faucet and sink and it stays nice and shiny without water spots for over a week. Just do it every couple of weeks and it has the same effect.
Chemical dear
It's really expensive and hard to find in my country
Thanks for the video from USA
Надо попробовать 🙌
Мешочек точно под вешу, ближе к весне, спасибо за добрые советы

Watching you from New Zealand. Very interesting idea's.
I like this one.
A 10 for sure! Daniel from Arkansas USA. 🇺🇸
I don't bother with any other part of the sink or faucet other than regular cleanings, but I like to add it right a light bead of jelly right around the base of the faucet where it meets the sink.. keeps it nice and clean around there.
Great TIP!!!
Thankyou from West Gippsland, Australia
Thank you very much ❣️❤️❣️❤️❣️
I always had trouble finding a cleaner to remove hard water stains, then one day I tried my makeup remover cloth and it worked great! It’s the oil in it! I’m wondering what else I can use a disposable makeup remover cloth for?
I watch your video from Myanmar.Thank you for sharing

THANK YOU FOR GOOD TIPS, from KOREA, SOUTH.
Never use sandpaper on your sink! 😂😂😂
Wd40 adds the same protective barrier, it's also WONDERFUL for cleaning showers, toilets, tile ext...
Plus, in the shower, it makes it so hard water doesn't stick to the walls, floor. I hate the smell of it, but it's WORTH IT!
Useful tip! I am from India.
Thank you from Indianapolis Indiana!
Thanks 😊
I litterly just watched someone polish a knob. 🤣

Very very helpful tip thank you
@Lillian Maya yes it's awful stuff.
Greetings from Pennsylvania, USA. Great tip. 🧡
Beautiful!!!...for the momemt! In west texas, that would be covered in dirt/sand before noon. Any kind of oil or even cleaners likw Pledge are no good unless you're just trying to shine up for a party that night, an open house event in real estate, or something in that nature.
Oh and what do people think of the greasey hands when they leave this restroom? I'm sorry I'm not trying to be ugly but just thinking outloud
Great Tip, Thk U
i put old engine oil on mine it works good
Thanks from Ireland il try it.😅
By using Vaseline or any type of oil product want that eventually stopped up your faucet drain? It's just like they say if you put grease down a kitchen sink won't that work the same in the bathroom eventually stopped up the drain
Hot water helps!
Yes exactly. Over time I could see this building up in your pipes sadly. It would probably take a while but I guess it depends how often you wash the sink etc
I don’t see how when it’s a very thin layer over the faucet and counter. It gets mostly wiped off. This barrier is to stop water stains. And baking soda and vinegar will help unclog drains.
Half and half vinegar water shines all the faucets !
@@baldevsidhu7719 I use (white) vinegar for so many things! 👍🏽
Won't it make your hands greasy when u use the faucet? Also, if you wipe it that much, will enough even stay on to work? Thanks
Use a pair of nitrile gloves to keep the vaseline off your hands. Duh
Hahah
@@kevinwirth4767 Oh ok, so put gloves on every time I'm going to turn it on and wash my hands? Maybe pay attention better to what you read. LMFAO 💀
