- After giving our van Boris some rest and looking for a flat in the previous vlog, we want to show you what we did so far during the weeks we stayed in this flat.
How on earth did we fill our days in Rajbag, where there is very little to do?
We walked a lot, to other beaches like Patnem and Palolem, or to Chaudi where most of the shops are located.
Last but not least, we thoroughly cleaned Boris which was needed after months of travelling through the desert.
Of course, after all that walking, our calories had to be kept up, so we ate a lot, in the flat and at various restaurants, not always with much success.
Next week everything will be back to normal, we will be back in Boris, this time heading north.

Who are we?
We’re An and Yves, a Belgian couple who share a passion for travel en adventure.
Over the years we took a couple of gap years on different occasions and right now we're travelling the hippie trail, which started on January 1 2023!
As said this is not our first travel experience but three years ago we started sharing our stories on CZcams and Instagram. There has to be a first time for everything!

The burger and thali looked amazing. Your days look nice and relaxing. I love it when you travel and you can get into a bit of a routine, like visiting the beach in the afternoon and a morning walk. It’s good to know there is a grocery shop where you can get some vegan items too. I also love how much you walk.
We had some great food in Goa, especially in the 'canteen indienne'. We took advantage of the health store, lucky find!

How did you like Goa? Were you able to relax your souls ? With its Warm water beaches and tropical temperature, Goa should have done some magic by now, didnt it? After all its a hippie capital of the world.
After 3,5 weeks we left Goa 100% relaxed, ready to conquer the Indian traffic 😬!
We use almost all spices - except clove and ginger - in some foods in Iran too, but just a pinch. Using ginger in some old-fashioned candies and cookies is still common, but NOT in foods in Iran, and clove has a different story. We usually don't use clove as a spice, although always there are some exceptions among people. In fact, the clove was more of a medicine than a spice in the past in Iran. When I was a little boy (more than half a century ago! 😱🙂) we used clove as a painkiller for toothache by putting a whole clove on the decayed tooth to get some numbness and relief until going to a dentist, so the taste of clove would still evoke a negative feeling in Iranian seniors. Whenever I go to an Indian restaurant and the food tastes like clove, I feel I have a toothache and have to go to the dentist after finishing the food!! Seriously!! 😂😂
I can't imagine clove associating with pain... must be a horrible experience when you travel in India!

Hi from Iran
We, in Iran, use spices for give better taste to foods many years and I think we were win but in India,they use spices a lot,too much spices,I think and it s not good
Both cuisines are very fragrant, but for vegetarians/vegans Indian food is a safer option 😉.
