Who we are?
We’re An and Yves and together with our van Boris we're driving to Kathmandu!
We share a passion for travelling.
It’s not our first travel experience but the first time we start sharing our stories on CZcams and Instagram. There has to be a first time for everything!
While we were working and living in Thailand, he travelbug bit us again so we decided to quit our job and dive into travelling, full time.
Unfortunately, at that time our planet was hit by an unprecedented pandemic so we decided to return to our basecamp in Belgium to convert a 5-year Peugeot Boxer into a campervan to be ready to start travelling again when the situation starts improving!
Our goal is to inspire you to follow your passion (big or small) and to see and experience the world with your own eyes.
By sharing our stories we hope we can inspire one another on their own journeys.

Relaxing at Lake Van | Van Life Türkiye | The Hippie Trail #71
After a couple of incredibly busy weeks, all three of us needed some peace and quiet...
We found that peace just over the border from Iran and Türkiye on the shores of Lake Van.
First we spent about 10 days alone, then we were joined by Chris and Laura, who we said goodbye to in Iran eight months ago.
Our days here were filled with shopping in Van, getting new tyres installed for Boris, a visit to the hospital, a few barbecues and campfires and, of course, catching up with our friends.
After more than two weeks at Lake Van, it was time to continue our journey westwards!
Enjoy this one and... be kind, always!

Islamabad Deserves A Second Visit | Van Life Pakistan | The Hippie Trail #68

It is always nice to return to a place where you know a bit about the area and where it is pleasant to be. Islamabad is such a city. Built from the ground up, this capital city consists of wide avenues surrounded by lots of greenery on the edge of the Margalla Hills, which form the foothills of the Himalayas. We come to Islamabad for two reasons: firstly, to pick up our visas for Iran, but also...

Sorry for what happened with your health but you don't need to worry about the situation with police because as you know there's a conflict going on in Middle East right now and Iran's security forces are more alert than before , particularly in border regions of Baluchistan province due to security concerns.
Lovely to see you adorable couple again. We get to see lots of fabulous places through your eyes. Thank you so much. Pls be safe and enjoy every moment. Regards to charging extra money to tourists, it is really not fair but I guess they think tourists can afford to pay and guess that’s their way of making money . Which is not fair 🥲❤❤❤

That hotel (and shower!) was a welcome respite!
I am so glad that you guys reached safely to Iran and sorry for what happened in Iran , all the best and enjoy Turkey.🤟
We both felt very sad when we decide to leave Iran so suddenly, hope to be back one day!
honestly, govt of Pakistan is only trying to save you from the grave mess that your 13 countries created right next in Afghanistan which pushed millions of illegals in our country who do everything for money. These are exploited by our extremist enemies next door to keep us unstable as they officially state.😢Sorry, but yea facts are facts. Your own countries cannot deal with a few illegals and here we are handling them for decades just to show humanity towards them because you had to bomb their entire country for decades which didn't allow them to do the needed economic activity in thier country. It's your shit, in the world, where ever there's any! Don't be offended but accept it that your western countries did wars everywhere to create mess. We know every superpower does that to maintain themselves superior economically, the British did that before 1945 and then Americans began to be at the front foot of all cruel wars! But also forced people(through their 'controlled' media) to believe that they are civilized! It's gross how you can buy respect even after causing more human suffering than what was ever done in the entire history of mankind. You are not open to facts about your own governments you pay taxes to do all of that cruel stuff, it's not our fault, that they've kept it hideous from you! You vote for them you are responsible! If you have ambitions it's not us who like to spend resources much needed by us upon you! But it is again cruel western countries who are responsible for that. Cruelty upon suffering is that they also manage to make you believe that you are better/civilized/humane than the global south! 😢 May The All Mighty save the righteous people from your cruel deeds soon! Amen. ❤ Wish you knowledge of reality, tolerance and understanding!
Hi guys, it is all about the government of Iran. They want to make it difficult for the people from other countries to come to Iran. They cut ✂️ the relationship between Iranian and other nations in order to plundering the wealth.
It's actually not that difficult to come to Iran (at least if you have an European passport) only this time it was pretty hard to obtain our visa, for whatever reason...
Hello friends Welcome to our Country ❤ Welcome to Iran Iran belongs to whole words.
Thank you for watching!

Thanks for watching!!!
I'm iranian and sorry to hear that you need to leave the country. This is a bit odd to me and haven't heard anything like that. The only reason which I think about might because you are in that part of the country. I mean areas near to Pakistan and Afghanistan does not sounds to be safe for travelers and this could be reason authorities asking you to do so.
We did not have to leave the country, this was entirely our decision.
I am in South Africa and plan to travel in Iran next year 2025. Thank you for sharing this VLOG it was amazing 'travelling' with you. Which time of year did you go? and which time do you recommend and why?
Thank you for watching! Spring and fall are probably the best periods to travel to Iran. We once travelled in Iran during summer and we had to brave temperatures of around 45°C! (This video was shot in September.).
Safe travels.
Thank you 🙏!
Hope you get better probably food poisoning
Yes, probably food poisoning, this is also what we think but no idea of the cause...
You are leaving because why? Literally no valid explanation at all. You got questioned by police and decided to leave is what I understood from it
As we narrate in the video, everything starts with the lengthy application for our visa (30 days instead of 2-3 days), followed by an hours-long border crossing with countless questions (very unusual!). When we were also visited by the secret police (not the regular police) during our first few days, we started thinking and decided to be on the safe side.... and we left.
Hope you both recover well. And enjoy Turkey
Yeah, we're fine by now!
I'm so sorry for all that has happened. Please take rest, rest, rest 🙏🏽 We met at Vegan Way in Pokhara and I've been following your journey ever since. I'm in awe of your sheer courage and determination. Please take care of yourselves. Love and blessings 💖
Once we were in Türkiye we camped at Lake Van for almost three weeks, we saw our friends again (who were on their way back from Iraq), so both physically and mentally we are back on top!
Hello, we apologize for the problem that has arisen for you in Iran. Probably those policemen will ask you questions on their own. In addition, the north of Iran has racist people.
This was our third visit to Iran, and thankfully only the first time we experienced this...
@@AFlaneursQuest Remember the people and country of Iran well and travel to Iran again. Suggest a trip to Iran to your friends. Freedom has increased in Iran and there is less hijab
Security is needed in these areas as it’s not safe our army and intelligence agencies are working day and night to sort it out 🤞 Take care safe travel
We felt very safe travelling in this area 😊!
