    We own both New Holland and Kubota, I'm glad to see you give some time to the NH's.

    Great video! I am happy to hear you say there are no bad tractors. I think the same way. The main thing for me is it is a good tractor if it does what an individual wants.

    I'd love to take a peek at the new tractors!

    That transmission set up in my opinion is one of the best in any new tractor today, just bought a ts6.140 and it’s got it. My absolute favorite part of the tractor

    That is a cool tractor, not that I would ever need an orchard tractor. That crammed full hood reminds me of my 6.7L F250 diesel. No extra space under the hood! The downside is a simple $35 thermostat gasket repair meant $400 in other gaskets and about 8 hours of labor.

    Wow, why doesn't my BX have a rotating front axle... that's impressive. Zero-turns are overrated. 10/10. I need a farm.

      Kubota used to have bi-speed turn.. check it out 😊

      they still do in the M6. Wish they would have kept it in the B's.

    Interesting to see New Holland starting to carry some of the tech down to the smaller lines now. This tractor looks to do battle with the 200 series Fendts and looks much the same in stance and look . I dont see the need for super steer since everyone had come up with short turning without the extra moving parts that uses

    • @roberterdei8627
      @roberterdei8627 Před 6 měsíci

      SuperSteer is not new, literally one more moving part, and no other tractor without pivoting the front axle can boast an extra 19 degrees' or whatever it is on this machine. It's not like you can widen your track and turn the steering stops in because it's a you-know "orchard tractor" Interesting that a "German" tractor enthusiast (search "Fendt reliability" if you want to laugh or cry) is concerned about reliability and moving part count when his beloved AGCO 200 has it's engine made in Changzhou City (70-130hp 3-4 cyl engines) in the glorious Peoples Republic. Fantastic machine, and a discerning customer for sure!

    New Holland makes a quality product for a broad range of applications. From the simple , but sturdy Workmaster to the high tech models. What makes the difference is the Quality of Dealer and the service they provide. CNH has made great strides in improving the quality of their dealer network

    It’s amazing to see how much technology has gone into these new farm tractors. Hey Neil can you do a video on the bx1880 and what attachments it can run specifically pto attachments like rotary cutters and flail mowers, finishing mowers, shredders, box blades, landscape rakes etc I bought an 1880 last September and I absolutely love it but nobody has any videos of them running pto attachments.

    Super steer is the main reason I’m reluctant to get rid of my NH 1530 . You cant get super steer on any of the late model compact tractors.

    My thinking is the button on the back of the shift lever would be for clutchless shifts as with other nh gear for many years
    I always loved the TN95F

    The added technology certainly increases convenience, but at the same time limits repairability and life span. How many of these recent generations from all manufacturers is going to still be operational in 40-60 years like you see with the Ford 3Ns, Massey-Fergusson 35s, etc. If the equipment is going to be designed to be disposable, then the pricing should reflect that.

    I don't know I prefer the bug-eyed look especially after during one of the local machinery shows someone close by said it looked like the designer of the Case hoods was trying to over compensate it took me a while but since hearing it, it is hard to unsee it

      No, haven't since the late '80s when Ford sold Ag stuff to NH. NH subsequently was purchased by fiat's agricultural division in the aughts and joined with CaseIH as CNH.

    No freaking way. This is playing right into the ownership of the equipment you purchased/right-to-repair. Just a matter of degree and nuance before compact/utility tractors won't last 5-years because of firmware updates and support.

    • @MessicksEquip
      @MessicksEquip  Před rokem

      I'm very intune to that thinking, and what's happening here is exactly what I think most people would want. The screen is not required for operating the tractor. You can remove the display and the machine still runs. If you have a problem a laptop is not needed to pull codes and descriptions because they are on the display right in front of you. If you want a purely mechanical tractor that's available in the workmaster series, but at the end of the day most buyers choose the features and comfort that come with electronics over the simplistic mechanical models. I've been pretty pleased with the CNH trajectory when it comes to R2R issues.
