      It should definitely be on the list. A PSA 10 gem mint 10 example sells for over $2,000 consistently. I definitely overlooked that one. Good tip!

    Great video, I just pulled out my basketball cards and found some of these to include two of the Jordon 1987 Fleer sticker cards but I also was depressed, I found two bird, johnson rookie cards and as 5 year old I didn't know any better and torn them at the perforation mark. I'm kicking myself now....

I have full sets 87, 88, 89, 90 basketball along with singles in good shape and I have no clue what to do with them. Jerkball baseball card shops always just say they're all worth nothing and to donate them but I think they are just bitter old bastards. I suppose I should just send them away to have them graded?

      Be on the look out for them at garage sales or antique shops to make up for the lost cards. That's what I do! I've found a box of 1986 Topps football cards for $20 once!

    The Jordan rc (Fleer base or Fleer sticker) are great investments even if not a 10. They will keep climbing in value over time 💰

      Is it always worth it to submit your cards to PSA? let's say if you thought you're going to get tens is it worth it to submit them if you're going to resell?

    Love the 1986 fleer basketball set. Im putting a Psa 9 set together myself. IT'S funny too see how popular 86 fleer got to be. Over 100,000 dollars for a hobby box sealed. IT'S been a rumor that you can pull jordan rc 2-3 card's per hobby box. Keep up the Great work.

    the 88 Fleer basketball cards have the best look of ALL sports cards/years imo. And to me, it seemed Fleer made the best product of all brands in the junk wax era... even those hideous yellow ones in 91 or whatever always kept well.

      You can check the population reports, but I know PSA no longer grades them. Which is why I left them out of the video. BGS will grade them though,

    86 wasn't Jordan's roockie year. It was Fleers roockie year. Jordan played in 82 games in 1984.

    Imagine if You also collected BGS slabs. Majority of these cards wouldn't be on the list as Star cards really ruled the 80's.

    Yo! I have full sets of 87,88,89 Fleer along with tons of random cards kept safe. I don't even know where to start. Some guy who owns a cards store by me told me just to donate them! What the fuck? What's your advice on how to finally make money on these things? I have kept them locked up and they should be in great shape.

    It is a real tragedy that PSA does not grade Star Basketball cards from 83-86. Only because I feel that those cards are the true and real rookie cards of quite a few HOF's (Drexler, Olajuwon, Jordan, Barkley, Stockton, Ewing) just to name a few. Real tragedy..............

      The real tragedy here is all the scamming going on in the hobby. If it weren't for counterfeiters printing fake cards then PSA would still be grading the Star cards. They print a lot of other cards as well. It sucks bc I'm a fan of those cards as well. Tons of great XRC rookie cards in those sets.

    Found the fleer Reggie Miller in my stash. Centering is awful but the card is crisp. Also found an 86 fleer James worthy 👍

    Dumb to leave out Star cards. Jordan 1984 #101 base true rookie card is clearly the grand daddy of the 80s cards. BGS 9.5 worth well over 1 million! BGS 9 still over $114k.

      Karl Malone's little brother! lol, just kidding. The pop report on his cards is low so finding a PSA 10 is more difficult, so supply and demand is the reason his card is so high. You're correct on the Johnny Moore, he should be on the list 👍thanks for the input!

      His card is so high in value because of how rare it is to find in PSA 10, gem mint condition. Not because he was a dominating force for the Spurs during his 10-year career. His highlights are over 520 games played, averaged 9.4 points, 7.4 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.96 steals per game, and a field goal percentage of 46.0. So, don't feel foolish. I had no idea who he was either lol.

      It wasnt just the low pop count of the card.
      There was normally a printing error on that particular card, a black dot in the top left.

    Johnny Moore going for 10k is prolly because nobody valued his card back in the day, so they didn't take care of it like the Jordan's and Hakeem's. Reminds me of when I was a kid, there was a card in a shop that was graded a 9 or a 10 and was going for a lot. I had never heard of the guy. The player's identity escapes me now, but he was a no-name catcher for the Cubs or Dodgers, I remember a blue uniform. His card was #1 in that set and most kids would rubber-band their cards together, usually with him in front. Fiding a card of his from that set in good condition became near impossible!

      For basketball? No way, 1986 Fleer is the absolute best in my opinion. Look at all those rookie cards! It's crazy Fleer started printing cards in that year and not Topps.

      I think they will for sure, man. Collectors will start getting tired of the new stuff and will start looking at the old classics. I already am and a bunch of other guys comment about how they do as well. I think the popularity will start to grow in a couple of years if not sooner. You have to be careful with what you buy though, not all of it will make the cut. Jordan cards for sure are a safe bet. Baseball is Griffey, Bonds, Thomas, Chipper, etc.
