For 2021 the Honda Accord gets subtle improvements all around, but this LX Accord in particular gets a brand new touch screen infotainment to replace to old smaller screen, so it now has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard. The front end gets some light refreshments to the grille as well and even the LED low beams are improved. The 2021 Accord boasts excellent interior space, efficiency, and overall practicality for a family sedan.

What do you think of the Accord LX as the base model? The Accord had a slight revision for 2021, but not the full redesign yet. Still, it's very spacious, comfortable, and drives well all around. Thanks for watching!
Good car! Plan to get it for my first car! In White. In Platinum White Pearl, the same color shown in the review.
I purchased a black pearl one, I love it , only issue so far is USB ports do not work all the time
Finally somebody did a review on the base trim....thank you
You know you the Accord is “The One”. It’s the total package. I would like for it to have a more powerful sound system and air vents in the rear for the LX. They should’ve kept the 2.4 liter engine standard for the LX only. The Accord packs a lot of class and power. This is my #1 pick. Appreciate you Nolan for this awesome review 😊
I think the 1.5T is considerably faster and better MPG. It makes more sense. I will agree the turbo adds more complication especially maybe down the road.
it needs better cooling for the seats on the touring
Thanks for sharing something new for us to watch as I lay in bed home sick! Ugh. Honda keeps improving products which I always good to see. I drove an accord recently and ended up leasing the Mazda CX-5 Grand Touring you see in my bio. Stay cool, Nolan
Wow how cool. I wouldn't have even known this was refreshed from the 18 to 20 unless someone showed me the differences. Great review .
The greatest Accord of all time, I will pick the 2.0 liter Turbo Touring over a Lexus ES any time of day.
No v6 engine option is why I am going to another brand.
Nice review Nolan. Just subbed. The Accord is a great car. I love the updates with the refresh. Nice that Apple CarPlay and Android Auto is available in the base LX. I wish the driver seat was auto adjustable but at least you get push button start.
Crazy someone will be watching this video in 10 years buying it used excited to get one it’s a great car !
Someone ran into my 2020 Nissan Altima SR and it was totaled. I was shopping and the 2021 Honda Accord Sport SE won me over.
Very well made but my only complaint is that it did not have the blind side warning which almost all cars have standard nowadays.
Still 🥰 love it
Picked up a '21 Sport SE a few weeks ago and it's a dream. Had Civics from between '06 and '19, then switched to an F150 which was fun until the gas prices went up - David McDavid Honda in Frisco got me out of that truck and into the Accord and it has been great! Also, I can confirm that the folks at Honda in Rockwall are good people. Bought a '16 Civic from them and they went above and beyond. Would've definitely gone back if I lived in the area.
Edit: Also, great content. Concise yet thorough - keep it up.
@alanburk I’m about to make that jump from an F-150 to either a Camry or accord due to the gas prices and my
work commute. hate the idea of switching from a truck to a car but I guess you can buy a truck down the road after this madness cools down.
@@alaudun8670 I picked up a '21 Accord Hybrid EX-L back in April -- absolutely zero regrets, plenty of power and pulling about 46 mpg odometer average.
My 3rd gen TL finally gave up so I went for the lx. I miss the heated mirrors but I definitely do not miss leather seats. I never really used my sunroof. CVT is growing on me. I am doing 36 mpg average.
i had a 2010 honda accord sedan for many years now im finally upgrading to the 2022 honda accord lx😏
NOLAN YOU ARE THE BEST I AM AN ACCORD
THANK YOU AND I WILL LOVE TO DO WHAT YOU DO IN SPANISH AND OTHER LANGAGES
for only 26k $ a really good Car, thanks Nolan.
great video! hope we get to see a 2022 Honda Civic video soon!
I’m not really a sedan person, but for the Accord. That is making me change my mind for it.
Other than the pump action on the driver's seat, it's pretty decent for a base model.
We’ve got an 18 EXL 1.5. Excellent engineering all around
Have you had any problems with the 1.5 oil diluting? I just bought a 2021 and am kind of worried about it.
Nice review Nolan
I have the same exact car, love this model! The only thing I don't like is the cloth seats because they can get dirty quickly. Do you recommend any products to clean the seats?
So can you get fog lights installed? Is that what u meanv
Most beautiful sedan in the world
Thanks for reviewing the base model Nolan 😁😁
I have the 1.5L turbo engine in our 2019 CRV AWD and on paper it’s not a super powerful engine but it’s pretty responsive even for a heavy crossover. For comparison, we also have two rear wheel drive Lexus V8s and I am still impressed by Honda’s tiny engine. I am impressed this peppy engine is on the base.
Any problems with the 1.5 oil diluting? I just bought a 2021 and am kinda worried.
@@natecarnes7731 i have had the 2018 1.5T, no problems at all, more than sufficient for a car this size, and it accelerates faster than my 3.5L V6 Toyota
Great review!! Honda has did good with this sedan!
I love Accords!!
I am looking to buy a new accord...should I get a base CVT, sport model, or V6 engine version? Any thoughts?
Can you do a review for 2022 accord base version?? Thank you
I luv that car that’s going to be my first car 🤘🤘
The overall interior of the Accord is better save for the Seats where I believe the Camry seems to be more comfortable
Love your reviews, so down to earth!!
I just got this version but in silver metallic color with the black interior, I’m going to pick it up on Friday.
Any thoughts after having it for 2 months?
Impressive for a base model
They gave me a 2020 Sport 1.5 as a loaner last time I brought my 9th gen in for service. I didn’t like the CVT/Engine combo. Ended up getting the TLX because the top trim accord touring only has a black interior. In the last 2 years, Honda took away the 6 speed option on the Sport 2.0, they stopped making the 2.0 EX-L and removed the light colored interior options on the Touring. All 3 were my favorites. What gives?
would be nice if the car had power driver seat and blind spot and turn signals in the side mirrors. also an option for the 2.O liter engine. the 1.5 has the problem with oil dilution
Thanks for the review! Just picked up this car this week. Same color too! It’s a phenomenal car. I am curious though, exactly how the “idle auto off” stuff works. It seems kind of inconsistent when it kicks in and doesn’t, and I can’t find much information on that feature.
You have to press the brake pedal hard enough to activate it, if not it won’t work. Very easy to get used to.
@@avonigoghossian6967 how is the doing now cause I'm looking at the base model my 2019
It is Honda time.
3:54 full size ?
The base camry has atleast power seats tho
I have the same car and i wanna know about the Econ button. What it does and when is the best time to use the econ button. Can i always keep it on and never turn it off?? Or what??
Econ button lowers your power usage.I turn it off when getting on highways or trying to pass something by.it definitely pulls harder with eco off
@@robbec2012 so basically if im getting on the freeway, turn it off and if im driving thru the city on main roads use the econ button
Does it have paddle shifters?
Me gusta el honda accord
Watching this review I realized the last gen Accord is better than the current gen. What the heck 🤷🏻♂️👀😬 either way I still prefer my aging 8th gen Camry 😎
You say at 5:12 that "there's a hump in the middle" in the back seat. Why is there a hump since it's not a AWD or a rear wheel drive car?
Probably where the exhaust piping goes under the vehicle
A great value
Wow. You get a lot of car on this base model. The only deal breaker for me is the steering wheel. As dumb as that sounds. I just do not like the feeling of that polyurethane. If I remember they can get dried out and start coming apart. But the rest of the car is very nice especially when you consider the price.
Those pinstripes were installed in the dark🙄
A future beater car.
$26k and no powered seats or lumbar support!
yep, that's like 100 dollars in materials lol
I find this very weird! I drive a 2018 Accord LX and it's got the key with proximity sensor and vents for the back seats. How come the newer base model doesn't?!
Are you in canada or the US
@@alvinsimba734 I am in Jordan, but my Accord was built in the US.
Honda sensing is standard for the base model, I guess they had to take something away
What are the wheels? And where can i find them?
17” silver alloy wheels. I would think you could buy them directly from Honda if you wanted to
Do you know if I can use these for my Honda Accord 2017 sport?
Wow👍
❤HONDA❤
These wheels look like that of last years honda civic
Looks Like a Toyota Camry/Avalon XSE
I still don't like that chrome thingy that honda puts on their cars, and I feel like they have wasted a lot of rear boot space with those massive wheel wells which makes camping with the car and loading cargo with the rear seats folded quite difficult. I'm nit picking but those are the things which I pay attention to when shortlisting cars
The seats sucks very uncomfortable
Honda CR V
not happy with the 1.5L turbo... its a small engine. Is there a naturally aspirated 2.4L version?
Nope 2017 was the last year for the 2.4 and the 3.5 V6. That and the 2.0 respectively replaces those two respectively.
@@CarringtonHollister 🤔 that sucks now.. turbocharged honda arent as reliable as the natural ones... dang.. wat year is the worst Accord? 03 and 08?
@@cheezybread7783 pretty much
@@CarringtonHollister hmmm i was thinking i would avoid these years but ive seen lots of reports on NHTSA over most Accords suffereing from many issues... like hit or miss
NICE CAR, BUT LEXUS STILL ALL THE WAY
1.5 oil dilution turbo engine paired with a CVT transmission, no thanks!
From my research, Honda accord does not have that problem, it seems that only the civic and the crv have that issue
Way too much chrome up front!
Rear seat head room sucks!!!! Bad review!!!
I said my hair was touching the roof. So if you’re taller than me, it’s sucks. For anyone else…legroom is about as good as you get in this class.
Not sure what makes the review so bad….
Bull shit -- Sell talk. Honda fix the back set very rough compared and noise level? Compared with Camry
I’m not selling anything. I don’t sell cars, nor do I get paid to sell cars.
“Fix the back set very rough?”
Yes it’s louder than the Camry. At the time of this video I hadn’t been able to drive it very far or spend a lot of time with it. Since then I’ve driven one a few hundred miles on different surfaces and speeds and road noise is one of my main complaints (compared to competitors)
@@PrimeAutotainment do you think the Touring is as loud as well? I have the touring and I think it’s quite quiet lol
I think he did a good review.
