So about the video - it seems that the 7800XT runs almost exactly like my 6800XT, I'm also on a 5800X3D. Would you be interested in trying AFMF on the 7800XT while you have it. They did update it and I'm impressed with it so far, but I'm really curious about your opinion on it.

I have already sent the 7800 XT back to my subscriber. I have plans to add a 7000 series GPU to my permanent inventory in the near future. When I do, Iâll do a lot more FSR 3 and Fluid motion frames testing.
I have the ak620 and running in a pull config solved my ram clearance issues and actually lowered temps (lancool 216 160mm front fan)

Love my 5800x3d/7800xt build. Slapped it in a thermaltake ceres 500.
Would mounting a 480mm GPU rad on the side and then putting it on its side cause issues with the pump and whatnot? I plan on doing a low maintenance water cooled computer and im hoping to do top rad for Cpu and the 480mm slot for the GPU while its rotated on its side. Meaning the pump is gonna have to fight gravity.
very honest review! I agree at that price its a bit much... I do think If they included fans it would help sales but at that price I bet they are struggling to make a bunch of sales with it. Congrats on 14k btw.

Hey man, great video, I got the case but it seems to be a different version. The lock mechanism looks much more refined and they also threw in a GPU support bracket lol. And I got it for around $178 USD

Appreciate the video and your honesty. I don't care about the elitists and that I don't run the "latest and greatest", I'm still happily running a Ryzen 7 3700X also with 3200MHz RAM and a Radeon 6750 XT, still runs everything I want like a dream. Sorry not sorry!

I have a question thats a bit off topic can i run 1140p on my 4k monitor since i want higher fps or do i need to buy a new monitor thats a 1140p monitor?
You can get Patriot Vipers rated at 4000mhz that run sweet on AM4, they OC as well so you can either tweak timings down or raise clocks to 4200. Would be a nice upgrade and will relieve the clearance issues! I love AM4 still.
Hey, Im on a ryzen 5 5600, do i need to upgrade to something like a R7 5800x? Also should I get the rx 7800 xt or the rtx 4070. I go for 1440P max settings. The rx is rocking a 16 gb vram while the 70 is only 12. the rx has also higher bits 256. But i heard that the gpu software sucks, and that they dont have something like nvidia reflex which causes latency. I hope all of those rumors are false because I was close to getting the rx 7800 xt.
PLZ HELP. I've got a ryzen 7 5800x3d with an rtx 3070 but i want to upgrade to an RX 7800XT, but my psu is only a thermaltake 750W Gold+ power supply, and im curious if theres enough power in there to run that. Its sitting on a B450F gaming ii motherboard, 32gb of 3600mhz vengence ram, and a deepcool ak620 cooler. 7 120mm fans on the case, and a sata 1tb ssd, and an m2 500gb ssd. I'm stressing because i dont want to buy the 7800xt and it cause instability due to lack of power, and then ill have to spend a bunch more on getting a much strong PSU for future proofing
Hi sir new subscriber here. upgraded from 5600x to 5800x3d but my cpu utilization is reaching 90% even gpu usage is around 95-100. And i think it is the reason why my temps is reaching 75c and up

did you undervolt the 5800x3d? the temperature is amazing. im easy hitting 80Celsius if not undervolted with very nice airflow setup

It is a good balance. It will not bottleneck.
I builded a 5800x3d with the rx7800xt, 32gb RAM and many people said, i am crazy, why, i dont build on am5 platform.
But the reality is, i had only 1400 euro budget. If i wanted to build on am5, for the same price, i get apr. 20% (or more) less preformance.

Bro, i want to play right NOW, not later to spend 1000 euros more and play later.
I think this configuration still had min. 4-5 years in 1440p and if not, i can still replace a gpu and the 5800x3d will be still enough.

How you have so low temperature on 5800x3d? Do you live in a cold contry? Or deapcool 620 saves the day?
Deepcool does have a great air cooler for sure. But also, I used curve optimizer. Iâm doing -30 all core. I mentioned it in the video. Did you see that part?

You do not need to change your motherboard. Make sure the bios is up to date. The 5800X3D will work.

Runningsimilar spec PC. Got the XFX 7800 XT Merc and 5800x3d. AMd drivers have been so unstable so far. Only one that is sort of workign for me is 23.9.2. I see on Reddit an Fourms I am not the only one having endless issues with the AMD Drivers and 7800 XT cards. But otherwise the 7800 XT is a Beast.
What issues are you having? I haven't had any so far. Much of the time it is user settings... voltage too low, etc. Just curious and would be helpful if you could share. Thx
@@RKBenchmarker Random reboots, but in ingame. Anywere from 2 min to 20 min. Gives a WEHA 18 error in the logs. CPU tests fine and so does the memory. PSU is also new MSI MPG 850A PCIE5 PSU .I have Bios upto date and so far the only version of driver stable is 23.9.2. Also when playing Escape from Tarkov, if i open the launcher and then open file explorer it corrupts the colours on the launcher until file explorer is closed again. I found that AMD Radeon Image Sharpening enable was the result of this on any of the drivers from 23.9.1 onwards and can replicate it all the time. I never had any issues when i had 5700x paired with 6750XT.
@@Kyton72 Thank you, that is some very helpful info. The WHEA 18 error refers to your cpu; the next panel down from the whea error (the general tab) will have a APIC ID, and that will refer to the core(s) causing the issue (it is not your gpu in this case). Divide the number in half (if it is an odd number, round down); e.g., APIC 9 would be core 4 in the bois (not in ryzen master as the bios lists the first core as 0, not 1. So it would be core 4 in the bios). You would need to increase CO (curve optimizer) until your system is stable. What is your CO set to now?
@@RKBenchmarker Thanks for the info. I run my system with everything in stock in bios. The board is an Asus B550-A Strix. I cleared all the logs, but if I recall it was ID 10. I ran OCCT for 1 hour on the CPU and it never failed on any Whea errors. CPU I bought in August this year. it also would say amdauthenticate.sys on the Whea error. Maybe i should do a fresh win11 install as well.
