Its criminal how underrated your chanel is and how litte subs you have.
IMO stuff like this, pattern recognition and paying attention to the opponents habbits is whatyoung fighters need to focus more on. Good shit.

Thanks man. These are just my own personal film studies. I only post them on youtube so I can access them when not on my CPU, and hopefully a few people can learn a thing or two from them. Not concerned with subs or any shit like that.
I'm actually putting together some more instructional style videos at the moment. Going through specific techniques from all the various fighters I've studied in my film studies. And, not to toot my own horn but, those are gonna be pretty great. I'll be posting them on my other channel (Southpaw Studies) sometime within the next month so be sure to check those out.

Well I learned a few things.
That video you made on Luis Ortiz where he fought that guy that kept ducking/bending at the waist repeatedly after everything Ortiz threw was eye opening.
As a southpaw myself I never realized the simple answer to that was a timed left uppercut. Since Lomachenkos'(my boxing guru) answer to it was always just to put his elbow above the duckng oponents head and keep him pinned down.
Thx for that. Hopefully it never gets taken down.

Ahh what up southpaw brethren. Yeah, as you know, the 1-2 or 1-1-2 while moving forward into the outside angle position is easily the most common tactic used in southpaw fights. And the most common defense for that is to lean back with the jabs then duck under the rear straight. Rigondeaux does this ALL the time; Opponent comes in with 1-1-2, Rigo leans back, Ducks the straight, Then 180° pivots out of there.
The timing of the duck is very important. Duck too soon and he can adjust to it just like Ortiz did and fire a uppercut up in there. Duck too late and he's go you popped. All about timing. The full pivot out is also very important. Watch first 30 seconds of my Rigo vs Donaire Breakdown for a "how-to" on this particular defense against the 1-1-2.
Shit, I could probably go on forever on this topic lol but I won't bore you. Good to hear you learn some from my studies. Good luck guy.
