As someone who watched all the K1 events from the start (I'm that old), nothing pleased me more at the time than seeing Pete knock him out. I never warmed to Badr, it was always Ernesto and Alistair for me.

He talks about how boxing went from the fighters being polite to each other to how it is today , mma , k1 etc , where you got guys trash talking and being thugs
@@carlodefalco7930 many records buddy, ge was convicted and arrested in the Netherlands in 2014 under 8 different charges of attempted manslaughter and aggravated assault. All charges upheld by the dutch supreme court. This guys is a complete asshole and a menace to society. Fairly surprised he never got accused of domestic abuse since that seems right up his alley.

Badr Hari showed a lot of development en personal growth. I met him once in Amsterdam, just after the K1 days were over. I was out with some friends and we had a very relaxed chat about normal stuff. When we parted ways he told us to have a good night and to be careful. Very humble and respectful guy !

This was beautiful, the 2nd fight showed an old soldier who refused to stay down and a young master who learned humility and used it to sharpen his hunger into a fine point.
Actually he emotionally molested the white guy & attempted to physically do so prior to any sexual abuse as well.

my first trainer was a multiple kickbox world champion and one of the first things he taught me was to always stay humble and calm, which has often helped me in life, especially when i switched to muay thai and other martial arts i trained.
That knockout helped him grow up. It humbled him and helped him become one of the greats of combat sports.
And a real piece of shit out of the ring, this man hurt a lot of people outside the ring just to hurt them🤮

Compare that to Georges St-Pierre, who learned karate because he grew up being bullied, became world champion in MMA yet was always humble and respectful. He also grew up poor, invested all his time and any money he could make into his training, then used his first big paycheque to pay down his parents’ debts. Character matters
When you can fight at a competent level and know you could beat most people you have a fight with it’s a hard thing to keep your ego in check. Even if you’re just a tough “club fighter”

I watched this play out when it was happening. The old K1 days were filled with so many legends. Badr was an arrogant guy and it was very satisfying when Graham got him. Great breakdown!

You can dislocate someone’s shoulder, separating the humerus from the ball-and-socket joint if you hit it upwards and away from the joint. So yeah, an armpit punch can dislocate your shoulder if you hit the humerus in the right spot.

Any man who's fought a lot has been through the same challenges as Badr Hari. We all think we're invincible and get humbled in some form whether it's injuries or someone better. The man was one of the nastiest fighters I've ever watched and still one of the Goats to me.
He would be a GOAT if not for his out of ring behaviour, he's a massive POS.

He was 18 years old at that time of course most fighters are Cocky he got also great stats when he was 18 he got 50 matches 49 win most on knock outs and 1 loss it was from Alexey Ignashov. This match he almost won to but he got bad luck on last round 2.54 minutes only 6 seconds was left and that Unlucky kick got him
