In wrestling we used to call that stalling then after a few warnings you can disqualify yourself because they don’t want this strategy happening both wrestlers have to be actively fighting.

Sure. But, he still needed someone like Fliyd in his corner. Floyd's never let an opponent get all that bs off on his fighters. Missing weight, PED's, and giving a B side fighter the larger cut? Devin and his team were in a position of power in the division, but moving thirsty and paid the price. They also had a bad strategy. Even with the PED's, their strategy was all wrong. He wasn't prepared for the left hand at all.
